This hotfix includes two additional fixes:
Fixed a visual issue in the Shop screen where some hardware components could incorrectly appear as already purchased.
Fixed an issue where the Trace Level could reset incorrectly after receiving the first modem from Riggs.
Thank you for your continued feedback and bug reports!
This update addresses several reported issues and includes additional gameplay and UI improvements.
Fixed an issue that could break the game on certain system languages (such as Turkish) due to letter-casing rules. Terminal commands, autocomplete, firewall checks, settings, and other text systems now work correctly across all supported locales.
Fixed an issue where Riggs could display the wrong dialogue if the optional side mission was completed after finishing Chapter 3.
Removed two unused terminal commands.
Fixed the Notes input field not responding correctly to mouse clicks.
Fixed an issue where the incorrect secondary mission server could be displayed after connecting.
Fixed two out-of-bounds areas that allowed players to leave the intended play space.
Thank you to everyone who continues to report bugs and share feedback. More improvements are on the way!
Starting your first infiltration? Here are a few tips that might save you from getting traced.
Every server keeps a Connection Log of everyone who accessed it. Leaving those logs behind makes it easier for security to trace your activity.
Whenever possible, locate and delete the Connection Log to reduce your Trace Time and stay hidden for longer.
The answers are rarely handed to you.
Passwords, access codes, usernames, IP addresses, and important clues are often hidden inside emails, documents, log files, sticky notes, and other files scattered throughout the system.
Pay attention to what you read—you'll often find the solution before you realize you need it.
The 3D environments are just as important as the hacking itself.
Security patrols monitor most restricted areas, so rushing in is rarely the best strategy. Take a moment to observe their movement patterns and plan a safe route before making your move.
Don't forget to use the Scan ability to reveal nearby threats and points of interest.
Many electronic devices can be hacked.
Security cameras, televisions, billboards, and other connected systems aren't just decoration—they can become useful tools. Trigger them at the right moment to distract guards, create openings, or safely slip past patrols.
Sometimes the best way forward isn't fighting... it's misdirection.
Curiosity pays off.
Take your time exploring every room, every terminal, and every corner of the environment. Optional files, hidden paths, collectibles, and valuable story details are scattered throughout the game.
The more you explore, the more you'll discover about the world—and the easier your next hack may become.
Good luck, Hacker.
Thank you to everyone who has been playing the game and sending feedback since launch! This update focuses on fixing several issues reported by the community and improving the overall experience.
Fixed several progression blockers that could prevent players from completing specific missions or chapters.
Improved the "Evading Detection" hacking minigame by making its objectives clearer.
Fixed an issue where a hacking minigame could become unresponsive.
Fixed an issue where purchasing a hot dog didn't correctly deduct Crypto.
Prevented players from triggering multiple eating animations at the same time.
Fixed various UI and text issues across multiple chapters.
Fixed incorrect gate status indicators after unlocking doors.
Fixed scanner UI alignment issues.
Fixed menu scaling problems on ultrawide and high-resolution displays.
Fixed placeholder texts and missing interaction names.
Fixed missing objective text in certain situations.
Fixed a placeholder "Lorem Ipsum" objective text that could appear in one section of the game.
Added missing notifications for item pickups.
Fixed several cutscene UI issues.
Fixed an issue that could reset music volume settings after collecting an Audio CD.
Fixed incorrect music playback behavior in Chapter 6.
Improved lighting in several areas.
Fixed various environment issues, including missing geometry, visual holes, LOD popping, and out-of-bounds visibility.
Added missing NPC collisions.
Fixed weather inconsistencies in Chapter 3.
Improved English and Polish localization.
Fixed multiple text formatting, clipping, and translation issues.
Thank you for all your reports and support! More updates are already in development.
Step into a retro-futuristic cyberpunk world where hacking is more than a minigame. Infiltrate secure networks, solve immersive hacking puzzles, and uncover the secrets behind a powerful corporate conspiracy.
If you're a fan of cyberpunk, hacking games, first-person exploration, and puzzle adventures, it's time to jack in.
A huge thank you to everyone who wishlisted the game, played the demo, and supported us throughout development.
See you in the network.
Hello everyone!
Today is a special day for us.
After years of development, countless iterations, playtests, and community feedback, we can finally say it:
When we first started this project, the goal was simple: create a hacking game where hacking isn't just a minigame. We wanted every interaction with the terminal to feel like an important part of the experience rather than a side activity.
Since then, the project has grown far beyond what we originally imagined.
While things may have seemed quiet from the outside, these past weeks have probably been the busiest period of the entire project.
Most of our work has been focused on preparing the game for release rather than adding new features.
All NPC dialogue has now been recorded and implemented into the game.
Hearing these characters come to life has been incredibly rewarding, and we believe it adds a whole new layer to the world of Void Future: Hacking Protocol.
We've also spent a significant amount of time improving translations across every supported language,
A huge portion of our time went into polishing the experience.
Many bugs reported during the demo and Steam Next Fest have now been fixed, along with dozens of smaller improvements suggested by the community.
It's been amazing watching the game evolve.
Some of you have been following the project since the launch of the Steam page. Others discovered it during Steam Next Fest or the other fests. No matter when you joined us, your feedback has helped shape Void Future: Hacking Protocol into a much better game.
Even though we're approaching release, development isn't stopping.
Our immediate focus after launch will be:
fixing any issues that players discover (dooh)
continuing to improve performance (hopefully)
delivering post-launch updates where needed
And of course...
We already have a few ideas we'd love to explore after release.
Making games as a small independent team is never easy.
There are moments when progress feels slow, unexpected problems appear, and plans have to change. Plenty of these moments, trust us!
Through all of that, your wishlists, comments, bug reports, discussions, and encouragement kept us moving forward.
We're incredibly grateful for everyone who's supported the project along the way.
The finish line is finally in sight.
We'll see you in Heaven.

Hello agents,
Today we're excited to share something we've been working toward for a long time:All main levels and the full story of Void Future: Hacking Protocol are now complete. This is a huge moment for us, and it fundamentally changes how we approach development going forward. What ChangedThe screenshots below show how different areas of the game have evolved over time.Early versions were functional, but they lacked polish and cohesion. Lighting was flat, environments felt undefined, and the UI didn't always feel like it belonged in the world.Over multiple passes, we focused on:Reshaping lighting to better define space and set the mood
Making assets more consistent and visually readable
Cutting visual noise that wasn't serving gameplay
First photo = Before | Second Photo = After
With the core experience locked in, our focus has shifted to:Squashing remaining bugs
Polishing smaller details across the entire game
Improving overall stability and consistency
Working on localization
See you later, stay safe, stay hidden!
Hi everyone,
We’ve released a small hotfix addressing a reported issue affecting the hacking interface.
Fixed an issue where the terminal would lose focus after each command when the Notes app was open.
The terminal now correctly maintains input focus, allowing smooth command chaining without needing to reselect the window.
Thank you to everyone who reported this problem and helped us track it down.
If you encounter any other issues, please continue reporting them, your feedback helps improve the experience for everyone.
Hi all,
Tomorrow we go live at Steam Next Fest with Void Future: Hacking Protocol.
To be honest, this one feels different.
The demo that’s live right now is the result of that period. It’s not just a small update. It’s a much more accurate version of what Void Future is supposed to feel like.
If you haven’t tried it yet, this week is the best moment to do it.
And if you have, thank you. Seriously.
Steam Next Fest can make a real difference for small teams like ours. Visibility during this week matters a lot. Reviews, wishlists, shares, they all push the game forward in ways that aren’t always visible from the outside.
If you believe in what we’re building, this is the week where your support really counts. We’ll be around the whole festival, reading everything.
Let’s see how far we can take this.
Here are a few new screenshots from locations that await you in the full game. Different layers of Heaven. Each with its own systems. Its own risks.
We’ll be around throughout the festival, reading feedback and answering questions.
Thank you for being here.
Let’s see how much signal we can generate.
Over the past three months, we’ve been quiet, but not inactive. This period was defined by uninterrupted development, focused entirely on improving and refining the game. No distractions, just consistent work aimed at pushing everything closer to where it needs to be.
As part of this process, we’ve decided to update the game’s name. Void Future is now officially Void Future: Hacking Protocol.
This change gives the game a clearer identity and helps communicate its core focus more directly. It reflects what the experience is truly about: high-stakes hacking, systems under pressure, and navigating a hostile digital world. The new name better positions the game and sets clearer expectations for players discovering it for the first time.
With the rebrand and the many changes made over the past months, it felt necessary to rethink how the game is presented.
The Steam page has been fully refreshed and now includes:
a new capsule image
new screenshots
a new gameplay trailer that better represents the current state, tone, and gameplay
This update reflects where the game actually is today, not where it was months ago.
New Trailer:
A large part of the work went into visual refinement and cohesion across the entire game.
This includes:
a new lighting pass across environments, improving mood, contrast, and readability
asset polishing for better consistency and visual clarity
new VFX, designed to better communicate systems, interactions, and tension
a completely revamped UI, rebuilt to be more readable, more diegetic, and more aligned with the game’s world
These changes aren’t just cosmetic, they directly affect how the game feels to play.

Example 1 - After
Example 2 - Before

Example 3 - Before
Example 3 - After
All music in the game is now fully composed in-house by an experienced composer. This was an important step for us, allowing the soundtrack to be tightly integrated with the game’s pacing, atmosphere, and emotional beats.
We’ll be sharing more details about the music and soundtrack in a future update.
All of the improvements above are now reflected in a new public demo, available on Steam right now.
If you’ve played the previous demo, the location may feel familiar, but:
content has been expanded and reworked
several sequences and interactions have changed
pacing, flow, and presentation have been significantly improved
Think of this demo not as a patch, but as a refined take on the same chapter, built using everything we’ve learned so far.
We’re now preparing for the next Steam Next Fest, and this is where your support genuinely makes a difference.
If you enjoy what we’re building:
wishlisting the game
sharing it with others
talking about it during the festival
…all of it helps massively with visibility and reach.
We’re a small team, and every bit of support goes a long way.
Thank you for being part of this journey!
Hey everyone,
We wanted to give you a quick heads-up: we’ll be removing the current demo from the store.
Why? Because we’re making some pretty significant changes to the game right now, especially when it comes to the visuals and the overall look & feel of the experience. On top of that, based on the feedback we’ve received so far, we’ve decided to rework the game’s opening segment. The current demo no longer represents the direction we’re taking, and we’d rather put something out that truly reflects the full vision of the project.
That said, even though it’s December and everyone is winding down for the year, we’re pushing hard to polish systems, finalize the new content, and lock down the new structure. We’re aiming to bring you a new, updated demo early next year. One that’s much closer to the final game.
In the meantime, the playtest remains open, so if you want to help shape the game while we iterate, you’re more than welcome to join in.
To finish things off, enjoy a first look at a new location making its debut for the very first time:
Thanks for the support, more updates soon! 🔧💾
Hey everyone,
It’s been a busy few weeks for the team, and we’re finally at a stage where Void Future can be played from start to finish. The core experience is complete: all missions, systems, and narrative elements are in place. That doesn’t mean we’re done, though. Far from it.
Right now, we’re deep in internal evaluations together with our publisher, ironing out the remaining issues, fixing bugs, and polishing the overall experience. This phase is all about tightening the flow, improving pacing, and making sure every interaction feels intentional and rewarding.
We’re also excited to share that a new member has joined our crew, an Art Director who will be helping us elevate the visual side of Void Future. They’ll focus on bringing consistency to materials and textures, refining VFX, and enhancing the overall look and atmosphere of the world.
Expect some noticeable upgrades to the visual presentation in the coming months as we align everything under a unified art direction.
We’ve opened a new round of playtests to gather even more feedback from players. Your input helps us understand what works, what doesn’t, and where we can make the experience smoother and more immersive. Every bug report, every comment, every suggestion, it all matters and directly shapes the final version of the game.
If you’re part of this round of testing, thank you. Seriously. You’re helping us make Void Future the best version it can be.
We don’t have a final release date just yet, but we’re aiming for the first half of next year. Once we’re confident everything meets the level of quality we’re after, we’ll share a proper announcement.
Until then, stay tuned for more updates, dev insights, and visual sneak peeks as we push Void Future toward the finish line.

Hello agents,
In our last blog we shared the philosophy behind the art of Void Future: a world where technology is chunky, lived-in, and patched together with scraps of the past. Today, we want to go deeper, straight into the streets of Heaven, where every wire, wall, and screen tells a story.
Electricity is life in the underground. From rusted breaker boxes to patched-up power modules, every prop is designed to feel like it was built for necessity, not beauty. You’ll see scratched surfaces, warning labels, and flickering lights, visual cues that not only sell the atmosphere but also help players quickly read what’s interactive.
Heaven is not a city of shining towers, but of crumbling facades and improvised architecture. We’ve built modular street elements: doors, windows, storefronts, meant to be reused and rearranged, just like real neighborhoods scarred by time. Neon strips clash with dirty concrete, while subtle details like rust and grime make every corner feel grounded.
From handheld devices to retro terminals, we wanted the hardware in Void Future to feel tactile. Buttons are oversized, screens glow with cold light, and every edge shows wear. These aren’t showroom machines, they’re tools of survival, hacked together to do one job: work.
Every asset, from the smallest fuse box to the largest street façade, reinforces our goal: immersion in a world that feels broken, recycled, but functional. It’s not clean sci-fi, it’s Void Future.
Stay tuned for more dev updates, and if you haven’t already, add Void Future to your wishlist to support development.

Hello agents,
Our public playtest has officially come to an end, and we want to take a moment to thank every single one of you who took part. Whether you joined our community, shared your feedback, reported bugs, or simply tried Void Future for the first time, you’ve helped us move this project forward in a meaningful way.
We’ve gathered an incredible amount of feedback, from gameplay impressions to technical issues, and even ideas we hadn’t considered before. Some of our design assumptions were validated, while others were challenged and that’s exactly why this playtest was so important.
The work doesn’t stop here. In fact, it’s already begun. We’ve gone back to the design table, and changes are already in progress to make Void Future a better, more immersive experience. Your input has given us clarity on what needs improvement and what players enjoy the most.
This is just one step in the journey. More updates, improvements, and surprises are on the way, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
Finally, if you haven’t yet, we warmly invite you to join our Discord community. That’s where we’ll be posting behind-the-scenes updates, WIP content, and where you can directly share your thoughts with us. Together, we’re building the future of Void Future.

Hello agents,
Today we want to show you a glimpse behind the neon-lit veil of Void Future, where art and function collide in a stylized cyberpunk vision of the year 2045. As a hacker navigating a world ruled by corporate shadow wars and surveillance states, we wanted your surroundings to reflect both decay and precision, a world falling apart and holding together at the same time.
We’ve chosen a stylized realism approach for our 3D assets. Think clean silhouettes, grime-covered surfaces, and designs that hint at utility. Our tech isn’t meant to look sleek and futuristic. It’s chunky, scratched, repaired with tape, retrofitted, and above all, believable.
Devices like the hacking terminals and portable readers you encounter are grounded in purpose. We’ve drawn inspiration from real-world industrial designs, infusing them with glowing trims and exaggerated forms to make them stand out in gameplay, without breaking immersion.
Our props are designed to feel heavy, functional, and visibly used. Each piece of equipment has a physicality to it: scratched surfaces, exposed screws, labels worn by time. Whether you're connecting to an old data port or interfacing with a legacy terminal, the hardware is unmistakably industrial and lived-in.
We focus on believable, grounded tech, port access units, and modular electronics that look like they were built for field operatives, not showrooms.
As the player explores and disrupts a tightly monitored world, they'll encounter various security devices like cameras and electric fences, all carefully crafted to balance readability and atmosphere.
We deliberately avoided ultra-sleek sci-fi shapes. Instead, the tech in Void Future feels patched, reused, recycled, in line with the underground and decaying urban spaces you navigate.
Environments in Void Future are brought to life with bold lighting and a distinct palette: rust tones clashing with neon accents, dim industrial corridors illuminated by soft emissions. Each scene reinforces the dystopian tension at the heart of the game: you're never fully safe, and always being watched.
The city is both decayed and digitized, a perfect contradiction. The screenshots below show how we balance color, architecture, and lighting to maintain this mood.
Void Future is more than a hacking simulator, it’s a world built from secrets, wires, and decay. Through stylized assets and atmospheric design, our goal is to immerse players in a universe that feels as functional as it is broken.
Stay tuned for more dev updates , and remember: access is never granted, only taken.
Hello hackers,
For those of you who played our demo, you might remember her from the intro. Silent. Precise. Unstoppable.
Nyx is a name whispered in the underground, a mercenary who never fails a job, and never answers questions. Her past? Unknown. Her motivations? Private. What we do know is that when she shows up, things get done. Fast.
She’s not a hacker. She doesn’t need to be. Nyx brings muscle, instinct, and surgical efficiency to a world ruled by code. She’s the one you call when stealth and brute force need to happen in the same breath.
Cold. Controlled. And always three steps ahead.
She’s striking, calculated, and dangerously effective. Dressed for utility, never for comfort, but never ignoring the power of appearance. Nyx doesn’t just use weapons. She is one.
Make sure to follow us for dev updates, character reveals, and behind-the-scenes content. Don’t forget to wishlist Void Future on Steam. Because Nyx? She’ll be waiting.

Hi everyone.
It’s been a little quiet around here lately, but not without reason.
While things may have seemed calm on the surface, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, laying the foundation for something important. And today, we’re excited to finally share it with you:
Void Future has officially partnered with RockGame as our publisher.
This collaboration is a big step forward for our small team. We’ve always believed in the potential of this project, but having the right partner makes all the difference — and RockGame shares our vision for what Void Future can become.
Partnering with RockGame allows us to:
Refine the experience even further, both technically and narratively
Get dedicated support with QA, localization, and launch planning
Expand our marketing reach, helping the game reach more players around the world
We’re still an indie team, but now we’re backed by a team that knows how to amplify a project like ours.
With this partnership in place, development is picking up pace again. We’re deep in production, and we’ll soon begin working on the next public version of the demo: improved and restructured.
Thank you again for all your support: the feedback, wishlists, and encouragement truly helped make this moment possible.
More updates coming soon.
