Zwamman news & patch notes

The Game Pavilion JP Festival just started and Zwamman is participating!

Game Pavilion JP is a major indie and "doujin" (self-published) game exhibition and showcase event held in the Osaka Baseball Dome in Japan from now until 31 July.

It highlights video games with japanese language support created by solo developers, small independent studios, and students.

The event includes hands-on playable demos, developer meet-and-greets, and media coverage.

Attendees can test out experimental, minimalist, and uniquely themed games that break away from major corporate studios.

Unfortunately I won't be attending the event in person. Perhaps in the future.

But there is a steam page for the event as well, where Zwamman can be found under the puzzle section. If you're in the neighborhood or interested in small experimental games, it is definitely worth a look!

「Game Pavilion JP」は、現在から7月31日まで日本の大阪ドームで開催されている、インディーゲームや同人ゲームの大型展示・紹介イベントです。

個人開発者、小規模なインディースタジオ、そして学生が制作した、日本語対応のゲームにスポットを当てたイベントとなっています。

会場では、実際にプレイできるデモ版の体験や、開発者との交流、メディアによる取材などが行われます。

大手スタジオの作品とは一味違う、実験的でミニマルなゲームや、ユニークなテーマを持つゲームを体験することができます。

残念ながら私は現地には参加できませんが、いつか参加してみたいですね。

ただ、本イベントのSteamページも公開されており、パズルゲームのセクションで『Zwamman』を見つけることができます。お近くにお住まいの方や、小規模で実験的なゲームに興味がある方は、ぜひチェックしてみてください！

Hi everybody!

I've just added Mac support for both the demo and the full version of Zwamman.

Among the test machines was a Macbook Pro 2019 running MacOs Ventura, so it runs well on modern hardware.

Please let me know in case it doesn't run for your configuration, and please be sure to mention your hardware & OS version.

I've just added Linux support for both the demo and the full version of Zwamman.

It's still experimental, but it should work for Ubuntu 22.04 or higher.
