Hey butchers! Steam Next Fest has been amazing so far. Seeing so many of you jump into the demo and share your feedback means a lot to us, thank you! It’s been incredible to watch the shop come alive.
We’ll be going live to play the ZOMBUTCHER demo ourselves on Steam Broadcast.
The dev team will be running the shop, heading out into the night, and probably making a few questionable decisions along the way.
Just a casual run through the shop and the night streets — showing how we approach things, what usually goes wrong.
If you’ve already tried the demo, come hang out. If you haven’t, this is a good chance to see it in action before jumping in!
Thanks again for all the support during Next Fest. It really makes a difference!

Lock your doors. Sharpen your knives.
The ZOMBUTCHER demo is officially live on Steam!!!
We’ve been working toward this moment for a long time, and we’re honestly so excited (and a little nervous) to finally put it in your hands.
And yes… we’re joining Steam Next Fest from February 23 to March 2.
This is your first chance to step into the apron (and rotting shoes) of your favorite undead entrepreneur.
Spend your first days and nights as a zombie butcher:
Serve customers during the day
Prepare and package your products piece by piece
Encounter monsters with… very specific tastes
Hunt in the shadows when the sun goes down
You can download and play the demo right now from our Steam page:
We truly can’t wait to hear what you think! If you enjoy your time in the shop (and the streets), please consider leaving a review on the demo page! It really helps us, especially during Next Fest.
Thank you for all the support so far.

More updates are coming soon.
See you in the basement.
Before the sun goes down, we’ve got some big news to share.
We’ve just revealed a brand-new ZOMBUTCHER trailer, giving a fresh look at what it really means to run a butcher shop by day… and hunt by night. Stealthy streets, questionable meat sources, monster customers, and a zombie just trying to keep the business afloat.
Watch the new trailer here:
Alongside the trailer, we’re also happy to announce that we’ve officially teamed up with Loopr Partners to help bring ZOMBUTCHER to more players as development continues. They’ll be supporting us on publishing and marketing as we get closer to launch!
If you’re new around here, ZOMBUTCHER is all about balancing two very different jobs:
Run your butcher shop during the day
Stalk the streets of a creepy Louisiana town at night
Avoid patrols, rival hunters, and unwanted attention
Keep both human and monster customers satisfied
Upgrade your shop, tools, and even your own zombie body
Yes, you can swap limbs. Yes, it helps.
We’ll also be making our public demo available during February Steam Next Fest, so this is your chance to experience undead entrepreneurship for yourself.
Thank you for all the support so far. Wishlists, feedback, and comments genuinely help more than you might think!

More updates are coming soon. Just… lock your doors at night.
Lady-Croc will be one of your regulars - satisfy her hunger, or you might end up on the menu. Running a butcher shop isn’t just about making money - it's also about surviving nights with monster-customers
Beginners start with the “Good Ending” cutting table.
It includes a knife, a cutting board, and a couple of containers for your fresh products.
Everything you need to begin slicing your way to success. And take a peek at what’s ready to hit the shelves:
If you want to work faster and earn more of course, you’ll need something stronger. Meet the Royal Slasher:
1) Three saws for anything from chickens to bull calves (Caution: company is not responsible for what you put on it)
2) A rubberized handle so nothing slips at the worst possible moment
3) A built-in conveyor to automatically send carcasses to the product bin
Two options - from simple to absolutely overkill:
Mr. Packager - toss goods in, seal, done.
Zapacker 3000 - the pro-grade packing line that works at the speed of Uncle Sam’s 12mm Browning.
It’s not just about making money – you’ve got costs too. New tables, some consumables, and weekly city taxes eat into your profits. The more you sell, the more taxes you pay. But clever management keeps you in the black.
We are happy to announce that on 28th of November we will start a closed playtest - if you want to participate, please sign up to it on our store page, by clicking “Request Access» button
Your support means the world to us!
Hello everyone!
ODIUS dev team here and today we’re thrilled to finally announce our upcoming game – ZOMBUTCHER!
ZOMBUTCHER is a Horror Job Sim and Stealth Action where you run your own butcher shop by day… and hunt for fresh meat at night. Because you’re not just a butcher — you’re a zombie.
Running a small-town butcher shop in the backwoods seems easy enough — until you realize you have to manage every detail yourself.
Prepare the goods – Every order starts with raw meat. You’ll need to cut it piece by piece, separating parts carefully in a fully interactive process.
Pack it up – Wrap and seal each product at your workstation. No sloppy work — your customers expect it neat!
Serve the customer – Deliver the finished product and keep your clients happy (and coming back).
When the sun goes down, your hunger rises.
Not every customer will be satisfied… and sometimes, the best way to solve a complaint is to turn the complainer into the product.
But remember – stay low, stay quiet, and make sure no one sees what you really are.
At night, your dark side awakes:
Hunt humans – stay in the shadows. You’re weak, so strike from behind and make sure no one’s watching.
Harvest them for raw materials – hungry? Eat a brain. Need stock for the shop? Drag them down to the basement.
Butcher them to prepare premium cuts – lay them on the table and craft your next “special.”
Sell “special” goods to monsters who know where to look – fulfill their twisted requests… or face the consequences
Deliver “daystuff” for night purchase – Not only hunger makes you go out from your basement but night-call customers too. Well, let’s mix business with pleasure
Ah, I almost forgot… DO NOT FORGET TO EAT BRAINS or you’ll become a real zombie. You know, stinky, loitering around, muttering about brains… Trying to eat someone without control… And your parts will rote… Don’t make me be your mom. Eat at the time.
ZOMBUTCHER is planned to release in the first half of 2026. Until then – make sure to wishlist the game so you don’t miss future updates!
If you’d like to see more behind-the-scenes content or take part in upcoming demo testing, join our community on Discord
Would you survive in a world where you are the monster? Stay tuned - the hunt has just begun…
