- Fixed an issue where Mileage was granted multiple times upon obtaining an Esper

- Applied purchase restrictions on Mileage items when at maximum imprint level

■ Zerowake GATES Reaches 200,000 Concurrent Players

Since its launch, Zerowake GATES has continued to show strong growth driven by player engagement and community support. The game recently reached a peak of 200,000 concurrent mobile users, marking a significant milestone.

Zerowake GATES has been widely praised for its unique system in which emotions and relationships directly influence combat power, as well as its character-driven storytelling and player choice. Positive word of mouth within the subculture RPG community has played a key role in this steady growth.

■ December Update – Low Tide in Twilight Collaboration

In December, Zerowake GATES will receive a major update featuring the globally popular BL webtoon IP Low Tide in Twilight.

This collaboration update will include:

• A new guiding story inspired by the original work

• A themed event dungeon

• A Christmas seasonal event

Players who have been anticipating the Low Tide in Twilight collaboration since launch can look forward to a meaningful content update designed to deepen immersion and welcome new players.

In addition to new content, we are continuing to refine Zerowake GATES based on player feedback. Our ongoing efforts include quality-of-life improvements, balance adjustments, and overall gameplay optimizations to support long-term enjoyment.

Many of you have shared that the cost of Esper recruitment can be a heavy burden,

and we truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know.

After looking at your feedback and considering different options,

we’ve decided to make Esper acquisition easier in a way that helps your gameplay experience.

The first changes will arrive with the December 17 (Wed) update.

Additional improvements are already in development,

and we’ll continue to share more details in future notices as they’re finalized.

■ Espers Added to Mileage Shop

Espers that were previously obtainable only through chance-based recruitment will now be available for direct purchase in the Mileage Shop.

Available Espers will appear in the Mileage Shop on a rotating schedule.

■ Purchase Limits

Each Esper in the Mileage Shop can be purchased once per account.

■ Importants Notes

※ Limited Recruitment SSR Espers are not included in this system.

This update is not intended to resolve every concern at once.

Instead, it marks the first step in improving Esper recruitment based on your feedback,

starting with changes that can directly improve day-to-day play.

We’ve confirmed an issue on iOS where product prices are not displaying correctly.

As a result, the Ver. 1.4.2 update will be released first on Android (AOS).

The iOS update will go live once this issue is resolved. We’ll share a follow-up notice as soon as the schedule is confirmed.

1. Two New Packs Added

- Awakened Pair Recruitment Pack (Step 1–5)

A new step-up pack has been added. By purchasing each step, you can obtain Awakened units, recruitment tickets, and various resources.

- Green Leptonium Pack 1+1

After purchasing the 1+1 bundle, the original Green Leptonium Packages I–VI will be shown sequentially.

※ iOS Notice

We’ve confirmed an issue on iOS where product prices are not displaying correctly.

Because of this, the two new products above are temporarily unavailable on iOS.

They will be added to iOS once the issue is resolved.

2. Guest Account Removal

Guest accounts will be deleted gradually over time.

To keep your data safe, please link your account to Google / Apple / Steam / EROLABS before continuing.

3. Chinese Font Optimization

Chinese fonts have been optimized to improve stability and readability.

■ Bug Fixes & Improvements

1. Fixed an issue where the tutorial could not progress on some Steam accounts.

2. Fixed an intermittent freeze when entering Tutorial 1-1.

3. Improved story auto-play so a proper delay occurs after voice lines end.

4. Fixed an issue where the game could freeze during Guide Card summoning.

5. Fixed leftover visual effects remaining after selecting a Dispatch stage.

6. Fixed UI cropping issues on Galaxy Fold 4 devices.

7. Fixed an issue where the 'Customer Support' button did not work.

8. Fixed incorrect damage grade display in Simulation (now matches actual results).

9. Fixed cases where text color codes were visible and corrected story typos.

■ Known Issues

1. Link Talk – Pair entry reward display issue

Only the reward icons are displayed incorrectly; rewards are granted normally.

(Will be fixed through a rebuild and rolling update.)

2. Currency totals may not refresh after leaving and returning from the Ascension screen.

3. The game may freeze if an enemy is defeated by counterattacks from 2+ characters at once.

4. On low-end devices, FPS drops may cause freezing or damage not applying correctly.

5. Esper Yoon Seungho’s Ultimate may occasionally freeze the game under low-FPS conditions.

6. In rare cases, the Stun debuff may not be removed properly.

7. During Ultimate skill animations, the damage numbers/text appear hidden behind the visual effects. 8. On Android (AOS), the Ultimate skill effects for Yoon Seungho / Rix appear visually broken (glitched) when used.

Update Notes (Ver. 1.4.0)

1. Guide Love Letters

Guides will now send you letters and small gifts every day for 7 days. Sent daily at 9:00 AM (KST, UTC+9).

2. Limited Recruit Help

We added a new help section explaining how Limited Recruitment works and its operating rules.

3. Fuse Achievement Criteria

The standard has changed from the number of fuses → to the number of cards used as materials.

4. Journey Dungeon Object Drops Adjustment

Basic: 1 type per chapter in Normal Chapters 1–6

Intermediate: 1 type per chapter in all Hard chapters

5. Dispatch Request Recharge

Recharge limit increased from 10 → 50 times.

6. Passive / Guiding Changes

Liu Yuan: Buff duration increased from 1 turn → 2 turns.

Han Woori: Guiding values now apply correctly based on % scaling.

7. Shop Updates

⦁ Leptonium package names now show item quantities.

⦁ Object sale currency changed from White Leptonium → Green Leptonium.

⦁ Added 6 Basic Object packages and 2 Surprise packages.

8. Daily Reset Time

Daily reset time has moved from 5:00 AM → 9:00 AM (KST, UTC+9).

When the reset happens, you’ll be returned to the title screen.

Bug Fixes

1. Fixed an issue where chips with percentage (%) options were applying much lower than intended.

2. Minor typo correction.

3. Fixed Han Woori Guiding values so they now work properly with % scaling.

Known Issues

1. Simulation Damage Rating mismatch

The damage grade shown in Simulation may not match real combat results. (It can appear higher than actual damage.)

2. Resource count not updating immediately

After jumping via shortcut from the Character Ascension screen, clearing a stage, and returning, newly gained resources may not refresh right away.

3. Freeze on multi-counter kill

If two or more characters defeat an enemy through counterattacks, the game may occasionally freeze.

4. Freezing / damage issues on low-spec devices

Heavy frame drops may cause freezing, and in some cases damage may not apply correctly.

5. Freeze during Yoon Seungho’s Ultimate

If frame rate drops while Esper Yoon Seung-ho is using his Ultimate, the game may occasionally freeze.

6. Stun Debuff Not Clearing Properly

In rare cases, the Stun debuff may not be removed as intended.
