Merry Christmas, arcology citizens!
It’s my pleasure to announce that XVTM has finished its Early Access development period and has been fully released!
This transition to version 1.0 expands on the previous v0.99 release, adds a Save Editor that can be accessed through the title screen (if you have completed at least one full playthrough), and includes minor bug fixes and script adjustments.
There have also been unconfirmed reports of winter snowfall on the title screen, which is projected to remain until the end of the year. 😊

Hello, arcology citizens!
The next, and final major content update, Index 3, is now available. This update represents the last 30% of XVTM and picks up where the previous release, Index 2, left off.
This update adds a host of new content, improvements to existing content, and bug fixes. Here are some of the highlights:
Updates to the UI, including resizing and repositioning of many core elements like the dialogue box, as well as an overhaul of the pause menu.
The pre-game segment has been rebuilt, and now includes a revamped new game flow and an improved title screen.
All microgames have received touch ups and balance adjustments.
The final set of achievements has been added.
The last segment of XVTM’s story, including multiple epilogues, has been added.
Various bugs, typographical and grammatical errors, and other edge case issues have been fixed.
The store page has also received several updates, including:
Updated screenshots.
A new trailer.
Finalized system requirements.
In addition, please be aware of the following:
Gamepad support for XVTM is now limited to in-game content only and players will need to use a mouse for navigating UI screens and the main menu.
The XVTM Demo has been retired as it no longer reflects the current state of the game.
The final update, which will bring XVTM out of Early Access and into its full 1.0 release, is tentatively scheduled for late December and is only planned to include a save game editor (for players who have completed at least one full playthrough), bug fixes and minor content adjustments. Additionally, XVTM’s price will increase to $9.99 to reflect its final, content complete state.
And to celebrate Index 3’s release, XVTM will be 50% off for the next week.

Welcome to the spooky season, arcology citizens!
It was one year ago today that XVTM released in Early Access, and I would like to thank all of you who have tried the game and kept up with its development. Cheers!
To commemorate the occasion, some updates and surprises have been prepared:
Index 3, the next (and final) content update for Early Access, reached Content Complete at the end of August and is now undergoing testing and polish.
A new trailer, showing some of the upcoming content, is now available on XVTM’s Steam Store page.
To celebrate one year of Early Access, XVTM will be 50% off for the next week.
A tentative mid-November v0.99.01 release is being planned, which will allow all Early Access players to see the final content update before the final v1.0 release in December.
Thank you for your continued support, and stay tuned for further updates later in the quarter.

Happy summer, arcology citizens!
With the second half of the year now underway, I wanted to provide an update on the current state of development, along with how things are looking for an end of year 1.0 release. Here are the highlights:
Index 3, the next (and final) release for Early Access, is about 50% complete.
The second half of Index 3, including XVTM’s finale and unique epilogues for each story path, is now in development.
Confidence remains high for a full 1.0 release before the end of 2025.
XVTM is participating in Steam’s Summer Sale, so if you have friends with tastes as strange as yours, please be sure to recommend it to them.
Thank you for your support, enjoy the sun, and stay tuned for more updates later in the year.
