Word Search Cafe is Now Fully Compatible with Steam Deck!

Great news!

I'm happy to announce that Word Search Café is now fully compatible with Steam Deck, making it easy to relax and enjoy a cozy word-search session wherever you are.

Over the past few weeks I've been testing and refining the experience to ensure the game plays comfortably on the Steam Deck. While the game is already fully playable, I'm continuing to fine-tune the input system to make navigation and interactions feel even smoother and more responsive.

As always, your feedback has been incredibly valuable throughout development, and I'll continue polishing the game based on what players share.

First of all, thank you to everyone who took the time to play the Word Search Café demo during Steam Next Fest. Seeing people enjoy the game—and hearing your thoughts—has been incredibly motivating.

Since the festival ended, I've been going through all of your feedback and have already started implementing a number of improvements to make the game even more enjoyable.

One of the most requested features was unlockable themes, and I'm happy to say that's exactly what I'm working on right now. My goal is to give players more ways to personalize their experience while also making progression feel more rewarding.

Themes will be unlockable in several ways, including by spending coins earned through gameplay and by completing in-game challenges. This is just one of many additions currently in development as I continue polishing the full release.

Thank you again for all the support, suggestions, and encouragement. Every comment helps shape Word Search Cafe into a better game, and I can't wait to share more updates with you soon!

Hello everyone!

With the demo now available and the full release approaching soon, I wanted to share a few of the features and content planned for the complete version of Word Search Café.

While the demo offers a small taste of the experience, the full game will expand significantly with:

• More word themes and categories to explore

• Additional puzzles and challenges

• Progression through levels and player ranks

• Achievements to unlock as you play

• Statistics tracking your discoveries and accomplishments

• More cozy environments and visual variety

• Expanded gameplay options and quality-of-life improvements

• Steam leaderboards and competitive challenges

Because the game is releasing soon, my current focus is on polishing the experience, fixing bugs, improving usability, and making sure everything is ready for launch. Your feedback from the demo has been incredibly valuable in helping me prioritize these final improvements.

The goal of Word Search Café is to create a relaxing and rewarding word-search experience that you can enjoy at your own pace, whether you're looking to unwind for a few minutes or settle in for a longer puzzle session.

Word Search Cafe Demo Joins Steam Next Fest!

I'm excited to share that the Word Search Cafe demo will be participating in Steam Next Fest, starting June 15!

New feature added to Word Search Cafe:

The victory screen now captures and displays a snapshot of your completed puzzle board right before the level ends, allowing you to see the final solved result inside the popup window.

It’s a small visual touch, but one that makes finishing a puzzle feel much more satisfying and personal.

I’m also exploring the possibility of adding a future sharing feature so players could post their completed boards directly to Steam or social media.
