Hey everyone, Steam Next Fest is here and we're excited to be a part of it! We have been hard at work on updating and polishing the demo for you. You can try the latest demo now with Steam Next Fest!
Steam Next Fest will be running from February 23 at 10:00 AM PDT (UTC-7) to March 2 at 10:00 AM PDT (UTC-7). But don't worry, the demo will be staying up, so you can play it as much as you want, whenever you want!
Yes, we have news! Check out our new trailer below with the release announcement!
Originally, our plan was to release right after Next Fest, at the beginning of March. However, after recent news (cough cough Slay The Spire 2 cough cough), we've decided to push the release back a bit to give you (and us) some time to play that. The additional time we have, we'll use for polish and your feedback from the Next Fest demo. You can join our Discord and give us feedback directly!
So, yeah, long story short, Wild City is coming out in April! Fingers crossed. We'll reveal the exact date in a future update. See you all soon with the release!
Hi everyone! We are really excited to be part of the OTK Winter Games Expo with a trailer announcing our release window! Check out the broadcast on Twitch or YouTube, November 22, 12 PM PT!
We’ve introduced an entirely new Habitat system to deepen deckbuilding strategy. Every card now belongs to one of eight habitats: Temperate, Hot, Cold, Aquatic, Humid, Aerial, Underground, or Domestic.
Balancing these habitats in your deck is now essential to maximize your earnings and create powerful synergies. This system also greatly boosts run variety: each playthrough may require a different habitat mix to succeed.
We revisited every card in the game and expanded the roster significantly. The game now includes around 400 cards (limited in the demo), adding huge variety and countless new interactions.
Each time you win a run, you’ll unlock a new difficulty level plus a fresh batch of cards. The Demo offers a limited version of this system, but the full release will feature 15 total difficulty tiers to conquer.
In earlier builds, players often kept their decks as small as possible, which is something that goes against the idea of creating a rich, interconnected ecosystem. Thanks to the new Habitat system (and several supporting tweaks), you’ll now be encouraged to experiment with larger, more diverse decks full of unique combinations.
Challenge and opportunity distribution on the map has been rebalanced to fit the new systems and incorporate player feedback gathered throughout last year.
Although a few placeholders remain, many visual elements have been refreshed with updated graphics, giving the game a brighter, more polished look.
