This update contains new languages for the user interface. Yes, you read that right. NEW languages. Our new supported language list:

• BABY - a NEW nonsense language for english users

That’s all for this update. No new game content is being released here, unless playing the game in a different language is a thing for you. Please let us know if any text issues or new bugs occur. Hello Daddies & Babies

There was a recent patch on the 2nd - here are the notes for those - Also below, are notes for a patch that just came out, and some information about what's next for Who's Your Daddy?! And oh, one more thing - the game is now Available on Playstation (Very important for PC players to know this)

The PlayStation Patch

This is a small patch that adds compatibility with PlayStation. There are also some minor bugs fixes added here.

OSX Fix

- The game should now be working again for OSX users with silicon processors

Bug Fixes

- fixed a bug that caused babies to win by simply riding the mower - Nail gun now shoots nails - Daddy’s Nightmare is now functional again - Splitscreen should now be working as expected - Flour Jar Debuff no longer permanent - Fixed a bug where babies dropping did not occur for the baby - Fixed issues with fire system, gas should once again be ignitable - Fixed issues with soap not working on gas - Fixed the Bear not entering the map - Fixed an issue where controller icons would not show in-game

Other

- Flashlight is now much brighter - Puke now comes more smoothly from mouth - (There are some new achievements that may be added, but you can’t get them just yet, we are still testing)

The May 5th Patch

- Daddypad now working on controllers - The bear can cross the bearrier - House flooding is swimmable and extinguishes fire properly - Improved colliders in Baby Daddy Acadamy closet - Fixed issues with First Person Camera not being positioned correctly when running & crawling - drop action no longer listed in controls

What’s Next?

The next major content update will be coming **this summer**. **Our target date for next major update is June 24th.** This upcoming update will feature some new areas that explore the lore in the world of Who’s Your Daddy?!. We will also be introducing a new character. Anyway, remember to feed your babies and that daddy wants to love you - okay bye

This seasons update had a heavy focus on optimization and preparing for the launch of our Android build. Our goal was to increase performance overall, and bring some quality control back to the game, fixing our Daddy’s Nightmare mode just in time for Halloween!

THE BABY DADDY ACADAMY

As a smaller New Play Area, this new map is designed highlights the game's core mechanics within a more contained area.

• Features an obstacle course designed to entertain babies
• Closeable window blinds to prevent easy escape.
• New Vehicle: Bus
• New Key Items:
  • Shovel: Can dig up balls of dirt
  • Glue: Sticks players to the ground
• Baby Pool: Supervision required

MAJOR GRAPHICAL PERFORMANCE BOOSTS

• The URP Upgrade : We upgraded our graphics backend to be more performant through the use of Unity's URP (Universal Render Pipeline). This change may have effected the look of some items, we are actively working to address these issues. Please let us know about your experience with this change. We are expecting ~+30% fps increase in general, but this may effect players differently depending on your specific hardware configuration.
• Added a Target frame rate option (The physics rate is based on this option)

IMPROVED DETECTION AND NEW ITEM SPAWNING

• Detection Improvements - detection has be reworked to make detection easier and more forgiving
• Disabled Move mechanic - our thoughts on this is that the mechanic is underused, the removal of it reduces the info on screen, and frees up the button for another mechanic
• Street Cars now knock players out of vehicles
• Candles now burn players like fire
• Item Spawning is now "standardized" on a per room basis. I.e. Anything that spawns in the kitchen can spawn anywhere in the kitchen. Each room has a unique item spawn list.
• Vacuum has a small balance update where it drains battery upon sucking certain items. The UI has been updated to be more accurate.
• Added a funnel to marble run to make achievement easier
• Reduced required speed needed to explode car
• Updated Air Vents to now be “trigger” based - just remove the cover and jump in! Additionally, air vents now get shut off with the power

• Ragdoll Polish: Characters are intended to “roll” with input and are more stable

The WYD Experimental Branch is live again, containing the upcoming January Update! 🧪🤓 The WYD Experimental Branch is a separate (and temporary) version of the Who's Your Daddy Playtest, which contains unreleased and less-tested content. The purpose of the experimental branch is to allow players to test new content and provide valuable feedback before the actual release of the content 🕹️.

The current playtest of the experimental branch contains content from the upcoming January Update, and will end when the update is released.

New Room: The Basement

• Main Water Valve - This switch shuts off all water in the house
• Main Circuit Breaker - Shuts off all power in the house
• Weight Bench - Get ready to work it! Lifting can make you stronger, but lift too much and you will get crushed!
• Dumbbells - Working out only one arm appears to still increase strength at only half the load and effort.
• Pool Table - Ready for a game? These pool cues become an effective defense tool when used inappropriately.
• Treadmill - This equipment can train your speed! Take a run for a speed boost, but be careful not to go too fast!
• Basketball Net & Ball - Daddies and Babies, get ready to play ball! - Also includes a scoreboard
• Foam Fingers - New way to root for your favorite #1 or #2
• Yoga Mats - Perform a peaceful yoga pose to calm your composure
• Richard the Roach: There’s more than one way to kill a cockroach.
• Dart Board - A reskin of the fork, ready to be stuck into anything that will allow it.
• Swing Bars - Quickly swing through the basement life as a baby, struggle to move yourself as a daddy.
• Mini Trampolines - These are just great for bouncing on.
• Sporty Posters are found on the walls
• Procedural Projectile Launcher (P.P. Launcher)
• Santa is coming to town! - No baby nappers allowed during this season! Just some old guy with a red suit, and a really cool “sleigh”.

Two NEW skins

• Santa Daddy - Daddy is wearing a santa suit this year, and comes with Milk and Cookies to match!
• The Baby of Kris - This child of Santa Claus is nearly immortal. Born from the loins of Father Christmas Himself, this baby has the ability to shrink at will* and can sometimes revive after “death”. *Shrinking ability is not unlimited and will deplete the baby’s stomach contents.

Hello our favourite babies and daddies! Two years ago, Who's Your Daddy?! entered our free playtest on Steam and since then we’ve added a lot of content through our monthly updates. In light of the amount of content already added and what is to come, we’ve decided to update the price of Who’s Your Daddy?! to $9.99. We will continue to offer the free playtest on Steam, and keep the “Playtest” tag onto the game for the time being - so you can still play Who’s Your Daddy?! for free on Steam. • ZomBaby - Zombaby is effected differently by items! Sickness heals the Zombaby over time. Items that typically restore health hurt it, and items that usually decrease health, restore it! The Zombaby is a difficult and frustrating child to parent. - The model designer felt uncomfortable modeling & texturing actual baby flesh, so we opted to make this baby’s flesh with raw steak “guts” and a raw chicken breast “brain”, dyed pink for the necessary color pop.
• NecroDaddy - Spawns with a healing staff. This magical rod allows Daddy to keep babies and daddies healthy! It even works on the Zombaby!
• Pumpkin Hat - Blocks headshots until it breaks - Eat pumpkin pieces to wear the pumpkin. Players who do not eat pumpkin pieces are not permitted to wear the pumpkin hat.

• Trick or Treat Bags - Is it a trick? or treat? Break open to find out!
• Return of the Halloween Decorations! - Also added some more pumpkins - And bones! Whose bones are these?

• Games now default to nighttime - very spooky - At nighttime, the bear is now made of bones, instead of traditional flesh, for the holiday. - A bat is in the backyard! What to do with it?
• Daddy’s Nightmare Updates - Daddy Health bars now show on baby screens and other Daddy’s - Babies can now die & respawn in daddy’s nightmare
• Item Reworks - Bats, Hammers & Crow bars: These items now have an extra powerful charge swing ability! - Ball Blaster: Can now lock on to characters with the “Throw” button (Default Right Click/Left Trigger)
• Mechanic Changes - Throwing can now be charged to increase the power of your throw - Reaching 100 sickness will now cause a player to vomit. Vomiting removes sickness and deals a small amount of health damage. - Daddies can now die and respawn - Daddy bodies can be picked up, thrown, and eaten (the choice is yours)

• Baby Disably can now disconnect if the link is broken.
• Sickness ticks every frame for drinks
• Vape is now twice as “full”
• Dirty diaper buff duration reduced to 15 seconds (from 30)
• Fudge the Bulldog is wearing festive headgear

• Updated Outdoor Space!
• We reinforced a new boundary for the map, making the outdoor play area smaller
• A road, with cars! - The cars are dangerous - There are colored different cars and also a van.
• The Slip And Die - A fun way to get wet and wild! Roll the dice, and take a slip! - Added an New Achievement!
• Playground with swings and a slide
• Added a new nighttime sky with realistic moon (thank you NASA, very cool)
• The Bear - A new animal, that is made of meat, and likes meat!
• The bear call - This item calls the bear
• A box with a small flag on it
• A powerful air conditioner unit
• New outer area details, with more “realistic” trees and sun movement
• There are many shrubs that the baby can hide in (we plan to make these more interactive, but we haven’t yet)

• Baby Disably - A harmless shock toy that makes baby tired. - This device ragdolls players hit with the shock end. - The targets energy is drained while being shocked - This device can be easily recharged in any outlet - Not safe for consumption!
• Baby Restrainy - A painless child restraining device. - Enables daddy to effortlessly hold the baby in place, or move it around - Babies can break free, causing the restrainy to break

• Ragdoll Changes: - Daddies & Babies can now jump while ragdolled - Running out of energy will cause the Player to ragdoll - Ragdoll immunity decreased from 5 seconds to .5 for daddy - Fixed an issue that caused ragdolls to stutter - Improved ragdolls in general, character ragdolls are now more "alive" relative to energy
• Dancing makes energy recharge 5x faster
• Climbing Changes - babies can detect and use items while climbing - babies can jump while climbing to dismount into a ragdoll

• Poopy buffs now cause player to ragdoll and lose energy

• New Item: Plastic Bag - Don’t let babies play with plastic bags!

{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/11272318/031dabf936e2479b9a74075332dbf2066a4f3c04.png Energy Rework: Our goal with this update is to make Energy feel more like a “resource”. Players will want to take advantage of energy giving items like soda, fruit and water to allow for maximum energy usage.

• Energy is now used slower when running & jumping, but also recharges slower
• 10 energy loss for feeding a healthy item and 30 energy loss for feeding an unhealthy item (the logic here is that it take a lot less energy to feed a baby some fruit, than to feed a baby a handheld vacuum)
• Health no longer affects energy recharge rate
• 10 energy lost for stealing an item from baby (they have a stronger grip than you think)
• Energy recharge at same rate whether walking/standing (so if not running)

Seeding & Tree Daddy

• Seedling Shout energy cost reduced from 40 to 20
• Daddy Tree Form energy cost reduced to 50 (from 75)
• Daddy Tree Form now rapidly recharges energy and heals the daddy

Soda

• Now restores 100 energy on consumption

Sugar Rush (Rewarded from drinking Soda)

• On activation, Sugar Rush will remove a Sugar Crash
• The player now receives 10x times energy regen when on a sugar rush
• If there are multiple sugar rush buffs, The Sugar crash buff is not given until the last one expires
• Players can now walk in sugar rush, to take advantage of the energy regen

Sugar Crash (Consequence for consuming sugar)

• Debuff now lasts 30 seconds (previously 10)
• The player loses 50% of their current energy

Hydrated Buff (Rewarded from drinking a water bottle)

• Now removes sugar crash debuff
• Now lasts 60 seconds(previously 30).
• Doubles stamina recharge rate per buff. (Previously cut stamina usage by 50% per buff)

Passing Out

• Now makes daddy loss all energy
• On revival 25 energy is gifted.
• If you hit the heart successfully 3 times, you are rewarded an additional 75 energy

• Daddies are now invulnerable for 1 second after passing out
• Garage Cabinets now spawn a more appropriate set of items
• Added more fruit bowl arrangements throughout the home

• Add many Impact sounds to a number of items
