🎮 5 New Mini-Games

• Treasure Munch – Collect gold and fill your team’s chest faster than your rivals.

• Sinking Raft – Cross carefully some rafts sink the moment you step on them!

• Spotlight – Stay in the light to score points and shove your rivals into the dark.

• Capture the Flag – Snatch the enemy flag and bring it home. Watch out for the obstacle bridge!

• Acidlavator – Outrun the acid, climb the elevator, and fight to stay on top.

🗺️ New Maps

• Space – A map set in the void of space. Expect perfect chaotic showdowns.
• Factory – Lava-filled corridors and narrow platforms. Stay sharp or melt.

🔥 New Minigame: Rising Lava

• Rising Lava – The lava rises. You climb. That’s it. Easy to understand, hard to survive. Quick and brutal fun for everyone.

🛠️ Gameplay & Quality of Life

• Force Start Feature – Hosts can now force the game to start once the lobby is full. No more waiting around.
• Ping Indicator – Now shows ping more accurately and updates in real time.
• UI/UX Improvements – Visual tweaks across menus and gameplay to improve clarity and player flow.
• Visual Jitter Fixed – Elevator To Heaven mode no longer stutters or shakes. Smooth ride guaranteed.

🌐 Networking & Backend

• Wendigo Service Load Optimizations – Reduced server strain during peak hours, improving stability and connection quality.

⚠️ Known Issues

• Missing Localizations – Some languages are incomplete or missing. This will be addressed in the next patch.

🐝 Gameplay Tweaks

• Queen Bee in Bee Catcher mode now attacks more slowly, giving you more time to escape.

🌐 Matchmaking & Online

• Regional Sessions: You’ll now match with players in your region for lower ping. If you prefer global chaos, the Global region is still available.
• Matchmaking now prioritizes rooms that are more full, for faster and livelier games.
• Quickplay no longer throws you into the same sessions repeatedly—a cooldown has been added.
• If the host leaves the game, you’ll now see a proper popup: "Host left the game."
• Login flow has been improved—less waiting time overall.

🎨 Cosmetics

• New costumes, banners, and profile icons have been added.

🕹️ UI Feedback

• The Ready button now scales up and down to clearly show that it needs to be toggled.

⚠️ Known Issues

• The Epic Online Services issue (not caused by us) is still ongoing and may affect overall gameplay. We’re working on ways to mitigate it.
• Lag spikes are under investigation—networking improvements are in progress.
• Missing localization is a known problem—we’ll be handling it in the next update.

🔍 Here’s what we’ve heard loud and clear:

• 🔌 High-ping hosts are causing lag and a poor experience.
• ❌ Host disconnects break the session instead of migrating to another player.
• 💥 Random crashes and fatal errors are still happening.
• 👉 Wendigo Online Services loading times and connection issues these are unfortunately caused by a technical issue on the Epic Online Services (EOS) side. We’re really sorry about this and have already contacted Epic to help resolve it as soon as possible.

🛠️ And here’s what we’re doing about it:

• Our first patch is nearly ready, tackling several of these issues.
• Matchmaking and networking upgrades are in active development.
• Ongoing bug fixes and loading time improvements are being worked on.

• Resolved an issue where music did not loop correctly.
• Addressed a bug causing the bomb to launch excessively high in Volleybomb mode.
• Corrected a problem where selected costumes were not saved, requiring re-selection after restarting the game.
• Improved networking performance in Elevator to Heaven mode.
• Resolved an issue with bomb transfer mechanics in Bombtag mode.
• Fixed a visual glitch affecting the experience bar on the Pass screen.
• Adjusted spawn locations in Snail Run mode to mitigate spawn-kill scenarios.
• Repositioned columns in Champion of Heaven mode to facilitate easier re-entry into the play area.
• Addressed various visual issues in Snail Run mode. Implemented general improvements to networking.
• Optimized performance to increase frames per second.
• Fixed an issue with the game number indicator on the loading screen.

• We are actively working on resolving connection issues.
• Visual improvements for costumes are planned.

• Fixed several bugs causing Fatal Errors.
• Added the option to disable Map Events under certain drawbreaker conditions.
• Fixed an issue in Football mode where the character would remain knocked out during kickoff if in Ragdoll state.
• Resolved various issues in the Lobby, Arena, and Football maps.
• Fixed animation errors.
• Fixed the issue where the lobby player count wouldn’t update when someone left after it was full.
• Resolved the issue where players couldn't enter spectator mode when joining a game in progress.
• Fixed issues with player statistics.
• Disabled emotes in unintended situations (e.g., while moving).
• Fixed the issue of exceeding the lobby limit, which caused games to break.
• Improved UI.
• Made improvements to WOS (Wendigo Online Services).
• Fixed the invalid link issue with the Discord button.
• Made optimizations and improvements to address stuttering and lag problems experienced on the first day of the demo's release.
• Fixed the issue where mini-game videos weren't showing for some users
• Resolved unshattering ice bug in the Ice Shatter mode.
• Fixed the issue in Football mode where the ball would remain over the post.
• Resolved issues where some missions wouldn't complete (surviving on Tentacle Island etc.)
• Fixed the issue where mini-game videos were not visible to some players.
• Fixed the bug in Ice Shatter mode that gave an unfair advantage for winning.
• Fixed the issue where the ball would stay on top of the goal in Football mode.
• Fixed the issue where some tasks could not be completed.

• We are aware that the settings you adjust in the Video Settings page are not visually displayed correctly. You can press the "ESC" key after making your adjustments to exit the screen. Your settings will still be saved.
• We are aware of the issue where items you’ve already unlocked appear locked on the Pass page. Clicking on the item will allow you to equip it.
• We are aware that the Slippery Shoes map event is causing some latency issues. We're working on it. (NOTE: It’s very dependent on the host's internet speed, but we didn't want to remove such a fun event.)
