Full Steam announcements and update articles for this title.
Hello everyone!
We’re excited to announce that Weed Supermarket Simulator will officially leave Early Access and launch in version 1.0 on August 12, 2026!
Early Access has been an incredible journey, and we want to thank everyone who played the game, shared feedback, reported bugs, and helped us shape it into what it is today.
The full release will introduce new content, additional mechanics, improvements, and plenty of changes based on your feedback.
Here are some of the new mechanics and features coming with the full release (these are just teasers - we’ll share more details at launch):
NEW MACHINES AND NEW WEED PRODUCTS - something you’ve been asking for the most ːsteamhappyː
YOUR OWN APARTMENT - which you’ll also be able to decorate
DELIVERY SCREEN - something that will let you, among other things, change the order of deliveries
Quality-of-life improvements - interface, balancing, performance, and gameplay improvements
Bug fixes and optimization - fixes and improvements designed to make the overall experience smoother.
We’ll share more details about the new features as we get closer to the release ːsteamhappyː
With the transition from Early Access to the full version and the addition of substantial new content, the price of the game has been slightly adjusted to better reflect its expanded scope and current amount of content. Existing owners will, of course, receive the full version and all launch content automatically at no additional cost.
The rules are simple:
Enter the game and design the most impressive weed shop you can
Take a screenshot while being in the game (on Steam, it's effortless – just press F12. You can find it later in your Steam account library) – make sure it will be displayed in the 'Screenshots' section on Steam.
Add #BestDesignedWeedShop to the caption.
By adding this hashtag, you confirm that this is your work and permit us to use this screenshot in our announcements and social media.
We await your screenshots until 12.08.2026, 19:00 CET.
We have 3 key packages for the winners (one person can get one package).
Our jury will then gather and select the winners. On 17.08.2026, we will announce the winners in a special announcement on Steam – we'll showcase 3 selected screenshots. Under each screenshot, we'll also provide a comment with information on how to contact us for the key.
If someone doesn't claim the key within 24 hours, we'll select another winner 😊
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Get ready for the full release on August 12!

Hi!
Here’s what we’ve done:
Statistics Panel
We are adding a new section to the game - Statistics.
You can open it from the in-game PC. Look for the new Statistics icon.
This screen has two tabs:
a) Statistics
Current day's revenue
Previous day's revenue
Top 5 best-selling products since this feature was added
Information about customers who visited the store:
Number of customers (based on their levels)
How many left without buying anything
Total amount spent by all customers
b) Warehouse Status
Shows products that are currently in stock or linked to a shelf through a label
Includes a legend showing:
Whether a product is in stock
Whether the stock is high or low
Whether the product has no label assigned
Controller Support
We're adding controller support.
You can now play the game using either a mouse and keyboard or a controller.
You can also change and customize the controls in the Settings menu.
Employee Improvements
When an employee is not working, you can now talk to them and ask why they are idle. They will give you a hint explaining why they are not currently working.
We have also improved employee movement. Employees should now walk around walls instead of trying to interact with objects through them. They will also choose shorter and more efficient paths whenever possible.
We regularly read your feedback and use it to improve future updates, so please keep sharing your ideas and suggestions. Your input helps us make the game better.
P.S.
A short reminder about updating the game here:
Sometimes you can have a problem with launching the game (or some parts of it) after the update. This issue could be related to Steam and not the game itself. If you encounter a problem like that, please check your local files here:
Enjoy!

Hi!
Here’s what we’ve done:
New Employee - Cultivator
Introduced a new employee type responsible for harvesting mature buds, transporting products to processing stations, delivering items to storage when required, and disposing of empty boxes automatically.
You hire (and fire) the Cultivator the same way as other employees - through the PC.
Processing Machine Assignment
Added the ability to assign a specific processing machine to each plant. Cultivators will now deliver harvested buds only to the selected machine.
Improved Customer Pickup Logic
Customers are now able to collect products from display windows placed near the second checkout counter (you reported that the issue that it didn't work well before).
Added Invert Y-Axis Setting Added an “Invert Look Y” option to the settings menu for inverted mouse movement controls.
We’re continuously reviewing your feedback and using it to shape upcoming updates, so keep sharing your ideas and suggestions - it genuinely helps us make the game better.

Hi!
All the features included were based on YOUR suggestions, and finalized through a community vote. So the result is shaped by those who know the game best – our players.
So, what's coming in the future updates?
New Employees - a new Cultivator employee focused on supporting and optimizing your growing operations.
Controller Support - controller compatibility for a smoother and more comfortable gameplay experience.
New Weed Products and New Machines - additional products and production machines to expand your business possibilities.
Statistics - a statistics system for tracking your progress and business performance.
Bud Transport Upgrades - improved transport tools for easier movement of products and boxes.
Apartment and the Decor System - a customizable apartment and decoration system for greater player personalization.
You can also expect updates focused on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, ensuring the game continues to improve with each patch.
And here are some answers to questions you may still have:
When will these new features be added to the game?
We are not providing specific dates because we need to ensure that each of these new features is implemented correctly and will not generate bugs. We'll let you know as soon as we're ready!
I voted for several other features, but they are not on the list. Does that mean they won't appear at all?
We're presenting on the roadmap the features that our players most frequently requested. We still have a few more things in our plan (as you can see, our game is regularly updated), and we will inform you about them, for sure! These are the most significant changes that are going to be added in the near future.
P.S. The next update is coming soon!

Hi!
Here’s what we’ve done:
New: Weed Attractor Furniture
Some furniture items can now be filled with weed (for example, the Monster Bong). These items automatically release smoke for a set time, similar to blowing smoke at customers. Nearby customers now have a chance to be attracted into the shop.
Here’s a short guide on how it works:
Buy the furniture item.
Place it anywhere outside your shop and load it with weed buds. Watch the smoke attract customers.
We also added a new mission about filling the Weed Attractor Furniture with weed.
P.S. You can still blow smoke at customers yourself — that mechanic still works.
Owned Product Count When ordering products, you can now see how many you already own, including items on display, on racks, or on the floor.
Cart Improvements You can now increase or decrease the quantity of products directly in the cart.
Sorter Fixes Fixed problems with sorters choosing the wrong boxes and failing to bring them to the warehouse.
We’re still going through all your feedback and using it to plan future updates, so please keep sharing your thoughts - it really helps us improve the game!
Also, a reminder that you can still vote on the features you’d like to see added to our roadmap!

Hi!
We’ve been reading all your ideas, feedback, and suggestions, and now we want to use them to help shape our Early Access roadmap. We already have our own plans, but we’d like to compare them with what you actually want to see in the game 😊
That’s why we’re starting a community vote based on your feedback!
Pick the 3 features you’d most like to have in the game.
Important:
This doesn’t mean we’ll only add 3 features from the list. The vote is mainly to help us understand what should be the highest priority, and which ideas might be less important to players 😊
Thank you!
P.S. We're working on the next update and it will be released soon ːsteamhappyː

Hi!
Here’s what we’ve done:
Economy improvements
We improved the game's economy - we made the game more balanced, including how players earn EXP, and how they level up. Play the game and let us know if, for example, the EXP gain feels better now.
Also, we added options to change the game's economy settings - you can adjust the difficulty, day length, and how fast you level up. You can set this at the start of a new game or later in your current game using the in-game PC under 'Gameplay Parameters'.
Selling furniture
We’ve added the option to sell furniture you no longer need. To do this, go up to the item, interact with it, and pack it up (press E, unless you changed the key in settings).
Then you can sell it (press DEL). Old furniture sells for half the price you paid for it.
Improved NPC movement
Customers move more naturally now. They stay in one place while picking items instead of walking back and forth, and they choose the closest free spot in line
Added sounds for production machines, UV lights, fridges, and plant growth/harvest, plus a new volume slider for these in the game settings
3 new songs
Some office objects are now interactive
Improved ambient sounds around the shop
Better lighting and reflections in the office
Some performance improvements
We’re still reviewing all your feedback and using it to shape future updates - so please keep sharing it, it helps us a lot!
P.S.

Hi!
Here’s what we’ve done:
Labeling warehouse racks
We’ve added the ability to assign labels to shelves in the warehouse - this will help sorters (or you yourselves) keep things organized more easily. You can see where a given product is and how much of it is left.
Remember: to add a label, go up to the shelf and press E (unless you changed the key in settings).
Better look for categories on the computer
We improved how product categories and subcategories look on PC. Now it’s easier to see which tab is active and to find specific products.
The issue with the numpad has been fixed
(Let us know if it works for you, as the issue only affected certain keyboards.)
Fixed how employees put items back in the warehouse.
They will now first place items on racks that already have the same product.
We improved furniture purchase tasks
They will now count items you just bought (if the task is for the same furniture). It will also count even if the furniture is still in the box and not unpacked yet.
We added more sounds to improve the gameplay experience
We’re still going through everything you report and using it to plan future updates - so keep the feedback coming, it really helps us a lot!

Hi!
Here’s what we’ve done:
Customers are more likely to choose a weed of varying quality
You reported an issue where, after reaching a certain level, customers (including lower-level ones) would stop buying low-quality weed - leaving it sitting on your shelves while customers left the store without purchasing anything. We’ve made a few changes to address this, and customers should now be more willing to buy weed of varying quality. Let us know if the game feels better now!
Better-working sorters (and other employees)
You also reported issues with sorters often not working properly. We’ve fixed that - they should now perform their duties more reliably 😉.
Product management improvements
On the product list screen, you can now see new icons when specific employees are assigned to products. This makes it easier to tell, for example, that a stocker is already handling a given product. We’ve used the same icons as in the employee hiring screen to keep things consistent and easier to recognize.
We’ve also added filtering options - including for products that are being stocked by employees.
Improved explanation of how employees work
We’ve added more information about how stockers and sorters operate - making it easier to understand things like the need to label store shelves so stockers can access them properly.
We’re continuing to closely analyze everything you report, and we’re planning future updates based on that - so please keep the feedback coming, because it’s incredibly valuable!

Hi!
Here’s what we’ve done:
Ability to pause time when the store is closed
You told us that you feel like the in-game days pass too quickly, so we’re adding an option to pause time when the store is closed. During this time, you can calmly do things like arrange products in the store.
While the store is closed, you’ll see a notification about it on the left side of the screen. You can reopen the store at any time with a single button or by clicking the sign at the entrance.
Universal box
We’re also adding a box that lets you freely move products between shelves — because we know you want the ability to rearrange them. The universal box is available right away when you approach a shelf with products, by using the right mouse button (unless you've set it differently in the settings).
Fix for sliders in weed upgrades (Low-Level Appeal and High-Level Appeal)
They were swapped before; they now display the correct values.
Saving and loading the store’s open/closed state
We’ve fixed an issue where the store’s open/closed state wasn’t being saved and the store was always closed when loading the game.
Fix for ordering the Green Hookah statue
Fixed an issue where ordering the Green Hookah statue would spawn a Monster Bong statue instead.
Employees no longer pick up weed seeds
After ordering, they remain at the delivery spot so you can move them wherever you want (you don't need to look for them at the warehouse).
We also want to let you know that we’re already looking into the other issues you’ve been reporting (for example, customers not being able to find weed of the quality they’re looking for, or sorters sometimes not working properly). We hope to bring improvements in these areas soon!
P.S.

Hi!
You can now play the game, grow weed, develop new strains, run your shop, manage employees, and keep everything running.
This is an early version, and we’re still working on the game.
Your feedback really matters to us - tell us what you like, what doesn’t work, and what you’d like to see added.
Thanks for being here and supporting the game ❤️
