Hello again guys! I'm here with some more news and previews on the upcoming game We Are Lost II! I just got done writing the story for the intro and I'm happy with how it went. I had to rewrite it a couple of times since I didn't like it but I now have a version that I think is pretty cool so hopefully you guys will like it! This meant that I could start working on the 3d aspect of the game and I've been doing just that. I'm giving you guys the first batch of images I just got done with. Tell me what you think? I've been experimenting with playing with the images a bit after rendering (just adding some filters and things like that). I think it improves the quality of the images but if you guys don't like it I can just revert back to the old style. That's it for this Devlog. What's up guys! Just wanted to share some news with you regarding We Are Lost II I started development today with some light work. I reworked some of the menu images and things like that. I decided to keep the old GUI as I quite like it and I also wanted to keep the vibe of the first game. What do you guys think? Hello everyone! Here we are! The final update to We Are Lost has been released! This signifies the ending of Part I of the game. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me through this journey. I will begin development on Part II immediately and keep you updated here through dev logs so you guys can see what I'm whipping up. I also added a couple more achievements for you guys to hunt. Hello gamers! We're here with some news about the future of We Are Lost. Initially, when we released the game on Steam we had hoped to finish the game by Q4 2025. However, we see now that there is still a ton of work left to bring the story to a satisfying conclusion. We still need to develop all 4 main paths AND also start the romance of each of our protagonists with the other girls (Liam with Scarlett and Landon with Ashley and Velvet) Not to mention revealing how this whole thing with the corporation started, all other side paths (like pregnancy for example) and so on.. This will require a lot more development time since I don't want to rush this thing trough. When I started the game I wanted the 4 paths to be exactly that, paths, and not just 4 different endings 'masquerading' as choices. Obviously, this is a pretty daunting task for a single dev like me since I have to do everything myself but it's something I want to do. Because of that, I decided to split the game into two parts. This update we will release in March will be the last update before the full release of We Are Lost Part I. After that I will immediately start development on the sequel We Are Lost II. I know some of you will be disappointed at this but I feel this is something I have to do. Of course, all the choices you made in We Are Lost I will be transferred over to We Are Lost II so no worries there. I will keep you updated here on all the news regarding the development of We Are Lost II just like I have with this game. Hello! We're here with another preview with for the update we will be releasing in late March. As we said in the previous preview, this update will focus on the "LOVE" path of the game. Hello! Here's the update for January 2025! This update focuses on the CORRUPTION path of the game where our protagonists chose to join the shady organization. You can now clearly see how the paths will diverge in the game. Besides the usual story content we added further improvements to the game which we will list in the changelog below. Enjoy this update and we'll see you again when we release the next update in late March! The update we will release in March will focus on the LOVE path where our heroes have refused the offer to join the mysterious organization. Changelog: 214 new renders 7 new animations Reworked the Gallery. The Gallery can now be accessed from the main menu instead of being in-game. Also, an option to unlock the scenes you're missing has been added. (You might need to restart the game after using the unlock feature for the scenes to unlock.)

Hello! Here's the update for this month! This update will be much smaller than the ones released before. There is a lot of work being done in the background since we reached the point where the 4 paths will diverge. Thankfully, that work is done and development can resume as usual. Hello! Here we are once again! Another update for you guys! This is a huge one for us as this one features the first MAJOR choice in the game. Depending on the choice the story will branch into two completely different paths for the characters. It also marks the first time we get a nice 'spicy' scene between Scarlett and Landon (we don't wanna spoil too much, play and see!) This is just a quick fix which will hopefully resolve players getting all achievements as soon as they start the game. The problem seemed to be in the fact that we included a persistent save file to the build while we tested the latest update. This was a persistent save from our own files that we should have removed before uploading the build on Steam. We apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully, this issue is resolved now. For players who have already faced this bug, we also apologize. Sadly, there is nothing that can be done to reset those achievements. Again, our deepest apologies for that.

Hello! We have just released the update for May 2024! This update marks the first major update release on Steam so make sure to tell us what you think. The biggest change to this update is the Gallery. Our players have asked for a Gallery from the beginning and now we have added one. In regards to story content, this update sadly wasn't as big as we wanted. We went through a big adjustment period, adding the Gallery which was a ton of work, as well as hiring a new writer. However, this means that the heavy stuff is out of the way and now we can focus on the story content. Also, we need to let you know that there was a TON of changes to the code in this update so old saves may not work or crash the game. We HIGHLY recommend starting a new game (since that will also allow you to unlock scenes for the gallery). There you go, we will now get back to work on the update which will be released in August! Hello! We're here with the final announcement before the update gets released this month. We've been working on a Gallery recently and here's an image to show what it will look like. There's still plenty of work to be done with it but we hope to get it done within the next week. Once we're done implementing the gallery we will release the update. Hello! We wanted to show you another preview of the upcoming update as well as share some news. Due to the amazing support you've shown us on Steam, we're now able to hire a writer! Before, I had to do everything myself - Design, code, write, etc... But now, we hired a writer to lighten the workload. The past few weeks we spent working with our new writer, bringing them up to the story and sharing future events we planned. This took a bit of time of course, so we didn't have as much time to work on the upcoming release. But now that our new writer has started their work, we'll be able to work even faster on future updates. This means that this update which will release in May won't be as big as we hoped (since a lot of this month was spent working behind the scenes with our writer). However, future updates will be much bigger since now I don't have to do everything myself. So there you go, those are some things we've been working on.
