We’ve just released Patch #1, which includes the following changes:

• Fixed image stretching at certain aspect ratios

• Capped the maximum automatic FOV at 120 to prevent visual glitches

• We are continuing to investigate reports related to mouse controls. As part of this effort, this patch introduces a minor adjustment to how the game processes mouse input. While this change does not fully resolve the "mouse acceleration-like behaviour” reported by some users, it should result in a more consistent experience overall

  • Please note that mouse sensitivity may need to be readjusted after applying the patch (this can be done via the game’s configuration tool).

  • If needed, the previous behavior can be restored by setting UseRawInputMouse=0 in the Engine.ini file located in the game’s root folder

Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior is now available on Steam for the first time. It brings fast-paced first-person combat to the Warhammer 40,000 universe from a unique T'au perspective.

This re-release is a faithful version of the original game from 2003, with fixes and improvements necessary to ensure it runs smoothly on modern systems.

• Works on Windows 10/11

• Fixed several crash instances

• Fixed compatibility issues

• The game now runs in borderless fullscreen mode to ensure better stability and Alt+Tab experience

Steam features

• Added Steam Cloud support

• Added Steam Achievements

4K support

• Added support for resolutions up to 4K

• Added proper UI scaling for higher resolutions

• FOV and 3D aspect ratio are now correct for all resolutions

Language localizations

• The game can now be played in Russian, alongside English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish

General fixes

• Framerate is capped at 60 FPS, in line with the original game design

  • FPS cap and borderless mode can be modified in Engine.ini file

• Added linear filtering to all 2D elements

LAN Multiplayer

• The game supports LAN-only multiplayer
