It’ll be bringing with it new levels, more words, and brand-new mechanics. There’s a lot packed into this one for you to discover and it’ll be releasing next month.

We love this community, and it’s been so much fun seeing everything you’ve come up with to celebrate the release of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – Words of Vengeance! From speed-running challenges to the best fan videos, and the funniest Steam reviews – we read and watch all of them and can’t wait to see what you have planned next.
Quelling the Confusion
However, recently we’ve noticed a bit of confusion in our reviews around Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun not being the game they expected and that’s because they were playing this game.
In case you’re new here, we have another game called Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, where you battle against the Chaos Space Marines and Daemons using the devastating arsenal of a Space Marine.
It’s a boomer shooter in a retro style and is essentially the Warhammer 40,000 shooter we wish existed in the 90’s.
We also have a sequel for Boltgun coming out next year, which will have a wider range of weapons, new environments, new enemies, and if you enjoyed the original Boltgun or this creative spin off we’d love for you to wishlist that game!
But Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – Words of Vengeance, the game you’re looking at right now, is not Boltgun.
Instead of slaying heretics with your quick reaction time (although that still plays a role) and precision (ditto), you’re vanquishing foes with the speed of your Words per Minute (WPM).
