We're back with Patch 4 for WARCANA! But that's not all! We're happy to announce that the Single Player Demo is back!

This patch is focused on balancing the game based on player feedback, as well as fixing a number of bugs! Here's the TL;DR:

The Single Player Demo is back, with 10 campaign missions to play through!
Fine-tuned the Battle Royale turn timings
Added 10 new prebuild decks
All hand cards now get discarded at the end of the round
Tons of balancing and bug fixes!

Fixed Issues

- Fixed post-game screen displaying wrong player rank at the top - Fixed a typo in the French localisation for Economy buildings - Fixed 'single use' text showing outside the draw/discard pile while scrolling - Updated the rank overview screen in the profile with correct division names for alternate ranks - Players can no longer go up or down more than one rank in a single game - Replays now correctly play back the game after a player disconnects - It is no longer possible to remove cards in deckbuilding screen while the devotion overview is open - Fixed building range not displaying when hovering over a building while paused - It is no longer possible to watch replays while in the multiplayer queue - The tech tree can no longer be scrolled from outside the window - Unit tooltips no longer flicker when the game is paused, and are now hidden - Card will no longer be highlighted in the main menu after leaving a campaign mission with a highlighted card - Fixed a rare bug where cards would get stuck on the hand after being played Please note: Due to these changes, old replays are now incompatible. We're back with our third post-launch patch for WARCANA!

Once again, thank you for all of your feedback! We hope that this series of patches has made the game a lot more enjoyable for you! Here's the TL;DR for this patch:

Main Building is immune to Attack Spells!

Interface-Setting: - “Set card animation speed” option added Controls: - Use keys 1,2,3,4 for Card/Building choice picks - Use keys Q & E to switch between islands - Use Spacebar to pause/unpause in single player - Smite is now bound to Ctrl

General Improvements

UI: - Cards now display the string "Single use" if they are single use cards - Pause button in the top menu now works in Single Player. Hold it to fast-forward - Improved visual feedback when selecting a building variant or making a card choice

Fixed Issues

- Main Building health bars now update immediately - Attack Spells and Tower Lasers no longer remain after someone has died - Flying card animations no longer block input - Auto spawns triggered by buildings now always appear in the spawn list - Card destruction effects are now only played for cards visible on screen - Camera can now be moved with WASD, even when hovering over UI or Cards - Improved German translation of the Arrival (Tutorial) - F2 no longer accelerates animations in Multiplayer matches - The game no longer crashes when trying to build more than 4096 buildings/walls. Once 4000 buildings have been placed, building walls is disabled. Once 4096 buildings have been placed, no more buildings can be built. - Fixed wall segments not being built at exactly maximum length - Fixed a crash when continuing a save from the “A Free Meal” DLC scenario - Placed the spell preview grid on the same height as spell outlines - Added missing translation for the ‘locked’ campaign button - Fixed a bug where the attack patterns of towers were inverted Please note: Due to these changes, old replays are now incompatible. Round-based Battle Royale

30 players compete to be the last one standing in a fantasy dimension of pure magic. Each round begins with a calm phase of planning, strategizing and building, followed by an action-packed battle to break through defences and destroy an opponent's base. Culminating in a climactic finish, a sudden wave of pure magic will wash over the battlefield, annihilating all units and reviving fallen buildings.
