As a Wild Ten Pilot, it’s good to get to grips with your partner in battle—the War Robot. With several War Robots to choose from, each with its own unique attributes, picking the best ally for each fight is crucial.
Built for aggressive flanking and target isolation, Garuda thrives on creating chaos behind enemy lines—cutting off escape routes and dismantling vulnerable opponents one by one.
Starting April 14, Garuda will be available through Daily Deals and direct offers.
War Robot Model: Garuda
Class: Flanker
Dominion: Freecon
Garuda is a fast, aggressive flanker designed to hunt high-value targets and disrupt enemy positioning. Combining mobility with tactical control, it excels at isolating enemies and forcing unfavorable engagements.
Its defining strength lies in its ability to dictate the terms of combat. With its cage deployment, Garuda can trap enemies and create opportunities for both itself and its allies. This makes it especially effective against snipers, artillery units, and any robot that relies on positioning to stay alive.
While durable enough to survive brief engagements, Garuda is not built for prolonged frontline fights. Success depends on timing, positioning, and picking the right targets. Strike fast, control the fight, and disengage before heavier enemies can respond.
Make the most of your War Robot by learning about its Core Gear and recommended Weapons, and Supply Gear.
Don’t forget, you can always customize any War Robot with your favorite elements!
Snake Catcher (Core Gear): Fires a module that deploys an energy cage on impact, preventing enemy robots from passing through it. The cage lasts for 7s. Enemies trapped inside suffer a 20% penalty to rate fire and weapon spread.
Orkans (Light, Blast, Rocket Launcher): Fires a barrage of unguided rockets, each with a small blast radius.
Blink (Supply Gear): After a 0.12s delay, teleport over 65m in a direction you're facing.
Iron Veil (Cycle Gear): Reduces all damage taken by 90% for 3.5s. Charge needed: 300.
Stats shown are for max level, factory build. Stats are subject to change pending future balancing updates.

Attention, Pilots! The following patch for War Robots: Frontiers will be deployed after a short maintenance period on March 24, 2026.
Improved automatic matchmaking region selection. The game now performs more frequent ping checks across regions to determine the best server for each player. This should address the issues reported by players experiencing higher-than-normal ping.
While we continue to investigate the ping issues recently reported by PlayStation players, the region selection option has been temporarily re-enabled in the settings.
Damage to shields increased from 22,000 to 35,000. This change improves Heike’s effectiveness when paired with defensive or assault shoulders, while maintaining its intended role and preventing it from becoming an overly versatile flanker.
Cooldown behavior at max level has been adjusted:
Cooldown reduced from 40s to 32s.
The cooldown timer now begins after the ability ends (instead of on activation).
Cooldown progression at lower levels has been rebalanced accordingly.
The active duration of Ecdysis (Heike Core Gear) is now correctly displayed on the HUD.
Fixed a bug where damage dealt to enemy shields by Ecdysis (Heike Core Gear) was not displayed.
Fixed an issue where the effective range of Ecdysis (Heike Core Gear) was incorrect.
Fixed a visual camera glitch on the Heike torso in the Workshop during customization.
Fixed missing localization in the descriptions of Kinetic Barrier and Ion Volley for the Norna Titan.
Fixed a bug where the Death Ray (Cyclops Core Gear) could deal incorrect damage.
Fixed a bug where decals placed on Crix and Decker War Robots appeared incorrectly oriented.
Fixed an issue where, if no Supply Gear was equipped, pressing the Supply button would instead trigger Cycle Gear.

This week, the Tortuga engineers invite Pilots to take a closer look at the following builds:
War Robot Modules: Scorpion, Lancelot, Grim (Titan)
Weapons: Tusk, Punisher, Katzbalger (Grim Titan), Jigsaw (Grim Titan)
Gear: Repulsor, Gamma Beam, Sprint Reactor, Reflector
Following community feedback, the Unranked Queue has been replaced with the Solidus Node Set—a curated rotation of simulation maps built for fast, focused combat inside Freecon’s digital mirror of reality.
These environments aren’t just battlefields—they’re fragments of Solidus, a system once used for surveillance and control, now repurposed during the Tortuga Uprising into a proving ground for Pilots.
Now joining the rotation is a brand-new map, Solidus Node: Bastion. A dense virtual combat zone built from fractured defense systems. Elevated platforms, narrow routes, and layered paths create constant pressure, rewarding teams that can hold key positions and adapt quickly.
Also available:
Solidus Node: Umbra
Solidus Node: Depot
Solidus Node: Foundry
Step into the simulation and fight where reality bends—but the stakes remain real.
By popular demand, Infinite Fuel is back.
Unlimited propulsion, faster rotations, and nonstop pressure—this mode pushes mobility and aggressive playstyles to the limit, turning every match into a high-speed fight for control.
Available for a limited time in a dedicated Unranked queue, Infinite Fuel is a temporary return. We’ll be closely monitoring its impact on matchmaking and gameplay, so it may be disabled again if needed—but we fully plan to revisit it in future rotations based on your feedback.
Jump in while it’s live and experience the battlefield at full throttle.
From new machines to upgraded systems, the Steel Advance Update is all about momentum. Build stronger, push harder, and fight smarter—because on this battlefield, standing still isn’t an option.
Move forward, Pilots. The line won’t hold itself.

As a Wild Ten Pilot, it’s good to get to grips with your partner in battle—the War Robot. With several War Robots to choose from, each with its own unique attributes, picking the best ally for each fight is crucial.
Built for aggressive frontline engagements, Heike blends durability with surprising mobility, enabling it to lead fast pushes and thrive in close-quarters combat.
Starting March 24, Heike will be available through Daily Deals and direct offers.
War Robot Model: Heike
Class: Defender
Dominion: FortEvo
Heike is a mobile Defender designed for high-pressure frontline assaults. While it carries the durability expected of its class, it distinguishes itself with the ability to advance alongside allied units rather than holding a static position.
Engineered for dense urban environments and heavily built-up combat zones, Heike excels where fights are tight, chaotic, and unforgiving. Its kit rewards decisive action—pushing into contested areas, disrupting enemy defenses, and creating openings for teammates.
However, Heike depends on coordination. It performs best when supported by allies ready to commit to aggressive plays and capitalize on its momentum.
Make the most of your War Robot by learning about its Core Gear and recommended Weapons, Supply Gear, and Cycle Gear.
Don’t forget, you can always customize any War Robot with your favorite modules!
Ecdysis (Core Gear): Discharges its shields in a 70m pulse, dealing 22,000 to enemy shields and granting 30% damage resistance to Heike and 15% to allies within the area for 8s
Thunder (Kinetic, Shotgun, Heavy): Heavy shotgun with a wide pellet spread. Brutal at close range.
Ghost Turret (Supply Gear): Deploys a turret that attacks the closest enemy for 850 damage per shot over 13s.
Gamma Beam (Cycle Gear): Locks onto the enemy for 9s, dealing up to 19,000 damage per second. Damage scales with proximity.
Stats shown are for max level, factory build. Stats are subject to change pending future balancing updates.

Today we celebrate one year of War Robots: Frontiers. One year of deployments, last stands, clutch repairs, and hard-fought victories across the Wild Ten.
We couldn’t have done this without you.
From day one to today, you’ve been at the core of everything we’ve built — and this milestone belongs to you as much as it does to us.
When War Robots: Frontiers launched, the battlefield was just beginning to take shape. Since then, the game has expanded in scale, depth, and tactical possibilities.
Take a look at our anniversary infographics to see how far we’ve come — new War Robots, weapons, Titans, Pilots, maps, and modes that transformed the fight over the past year.
The Wild Ten has grown — and so have your strategies.
To mark the occasion, we introduced a special limited-time mode: Infinite Fuel.
Unlimited propulsion. Faster rotations. Relentless pressure.
Infinite Fuel reimagines mobility and pacing across existing maps and modes — pushing movement-focused builds and aggressive strategies to the forefront. It’s a celebration of chaos, speed, and adaptability.
This mode will be available through a dedicated Unranked queue until March 17 and may return based on community feedback.
The celebration isn’t over yet.
To celebrate Infinite Fuel, we’re highlighting your wildest, high-speed, gravity-defying moments! Capture your most chaotic plays in the mode and share clips or screenshots in our Discord #full-throttle-showcase channel by March 17 for a chance to win Salvage & Credit rewards.
For full rules, prize details, and submission guidelines, join our Discord and get ready to go full throttle!

Pilots are the final puzzle piece in your loadout, and choosing the ideal companion for your War Robot is critical to your success…or failure.
Celebrate the anniversary of War Robots: Frontiers with Bruno Lantoni—a champion who refuses to retire, and a striker who treats every battle like a podium finish.
Bruno Lantoni is available now through the Anniversary Vault event, live until March 11. He will also become obtainable later through additional in-game methods.
Name: Bruno Lantoni
Class: Flanker
Dominion: Tortuga
Bruno Lantoni was once the undisputed icon of Grav Racing. Three-time champion. Corporate darling. A living logo stamped across arenas and sponsorship deals.
Then came the fractions of a millisecond.
To the public, nothing had changed. To Bruno, everything had. Reflexes dulled—barely measurable, but unacceptable. He did not slow down. He upgraded.
Bruno liquidated his fortune for experimental cybernetic augmentation. Muscle replaced with servos. Bone with alloy. Nerve with fiber-optic precision. The result: a fully augmented combat chassis wrapped in a sleek, racer-styled armored suit. Bright. Vivid. Built for speed, not ceremony.
The athletic commission banned him for life. “Excessive modification”.
So Bruno went where there are no rules—Tortuga. The Wild Ten. A new arena.
Now, on the anniversary of the conflict, he steps into robot warfare with the same objective he always had: win. Prove he is not obsolete. Prove he is not just machinery. Prove he is still the greatest athlete in the arena.
Rank 1: General Talents

Bruno Lantoni doesn’t relax. He recalibrates.
The arena changed. The rules changed. His body changed.
The goal did not.
