Hello all, new version available (0.6.1.0) in the Open Beta branch. Some key stuff:
Performance and accuracy improvements to the voice model thanks to the telemetry data, now everyone uses the same system that's thought for all hardware.
TTS fixes.
LNAV enhancements to prepare the sim for the new types of approaches in the future.
The features for this version seen in the roadmap (voiceatcsimulator.com/roadmap) will be added in the near future, they are not yet available.
In general, the voice interaction experience should be better and faster for all types of computers. Still, keep in mind that this is a beta and will be unstable. Hopefully you notice the upgrade from 0.6.0.
I've also fixed several of the bug reports. The next week I will go one by one on each thread and confirm the fixes for the ones I've worked on (if you feel like telling me in advance it'd help me a lot). I know there's a ton of reports and my next focus is having those to 0 as fast as possible. Remember to hop by on the Discord (click here!) to engage with the community!
Anyway, remember that you can always revert to the stable branch. Enjoy!
Hey everyone! 👋
If you've been enjoying VoiceATC Simulator, it would mean a lot if you could take a minute to leave a review. It really helps with visibility and lets me know what to work on next.

Thanks for your support!
Hello all, I've been putting a lot of work into professionalizing development for the sim, and one of the things I'm most excited to share is the roadmap. It lays out where development is headed and what's coming next: https://voiceatcsimulator.com/roadmap/ I've also updated the manual and handsheet for version 0.6, they are much more complete now. Hope you like them! Thank you all for the support.
Hello all!
I'm very happy to announce that the 0.6 version is live now in the Stable branch. These couple of months have been hard and quite demanding because as you might know I made the decision to postpone the release because it was not at the level required. I think that now it's the moment to go public and let you play with the new simulator. A lot of things have changed. We are setting a new foundation for the sim and the ceiling is very high so I'm extremely excited for the future. A summarized changelog is available in the Discord server. I hope it's useful for you to grasp the amount of changes made.Hello all!

Important information!
To switch to the open beta branch on Steam:
Right-click the game in your Library → select Properties → go to Game Versions & Betas → choose “open-beta” from the list.
Hey everyone! I guess you saw yesterday's trailer, I’m very excited to announce that VoiceATCSimulator v0.6, a major milestone in the development of the project, will go public in the development branch on March 21st.
The main feature is Navigraph integration, which effectively unlocks the entire world for controlling. From now on, you are no longer limited to predefined areas — you can control anywhere. It’s important to clarify that a Navigraph subscription is not required to use this feature. If you don’t have a subscription, you will simply operate on an older AIRAC cycle. The simulator remains fully functional either way.
Another big step forward is the introduction of realistic traffic generation. Traffic now follows realistic routes generated through a dedicated route generation algorithm, and aircraft spawning behavior is designed to be much closer to real-world operations.
This version also brings substantial UI changes. Panels have been restructured and reorganized to provide a cleaner layout and a more realistic feel. The goal was not just to improve aesthetics, but to make the experience closer to what controlling actually feels like.
Finally, modding has been completely reworked. Since procedures are now already included in the simulator, modding shifts away from procedure creation and toward defining where you control — meaning sectorization and customization at the moment. This opens the door to much more in the future.
There will be more info in the modding channel as release is closer. I will be releasing first in the development branch — check the FAQ for information on how to switch — as the amount of changes is huge and thus there might be instability. This update represents a big step toward the long-term vision of VoiceATCSimulator, I really hope you enjoy it!
