Dear Test Subjects, First and foremost, thank you for playing our game! Our team is working hard on improving and finalizing the game. New Menu

Main Menu

• During Early Access, we’ve onboarded a UI Artist to help us make the game look better.

Pause

• The Pause Menu also received an overhaul, make sure to check it out.

Performance Optimization

Level 0 - Valley Tutorial

• As this level is pretty wide open, the fps would drop on a few occasions, especially wide-open views. We did some improvements in the landscape, to help take the processing power needed down.

Level 2 - Misery

• Similarly to the Valley, this level had some framerate issues, especially at the central part of the level. We adjusted some 3D models to decrease the poly count and make them lighter.

Level 5 - Joy

• This one also had its landscape adjusted, so it can be lighter in terms of processing power needed.

Bug Fixes

• We’ve done several improvements and fixes in terms of bugs.

Epilepsy Warning

• We added an epilepsy warning when you start the game, to ensure that the players who suffer from epilepsy are properly informed about the lights in the game.

Dear Test Subjects, First and foremost, thank you for playing our game! We’ve been working hard and are super excited to bring this update! It includes new levels, lots of bug fixing, a subtitle system to complement the voice acting, and new mechanics as well! The new levels are doubling the duration of the experience, at no extra cost. =D Version: 0.1531

New Levels

Love

• The previous version ended in Misery, and now you’ll be taken to the level Love, with lots of puzzles and narrative.

Rage

• After Love, you’ll be taken to the Rage level, which focuses on platforming and time restraints.

Improvements

Subtitle system

• This new system helps the player to better understand the voice acting, and have a more wholesome narrative experience.

Bug fixes

• We’ve made a lot of quality assurance testing and squashed over 150 bugs, to improve how the game plays in many different ways, so you can have a better experience.

New Mechanics

• Grapple Cubes: these objects appear in some places, and by using the pull force, the player will be propelled in the direction of the object.
• Overclock: at some point (won’t spoil the surprise =D), the player can activate this functionality to make time around the player move slower, providing assistance when facing difficulties during the platforming and puzzles

Level Updates

• Trust: added a new gameplay section to teach the player how to use the Grapple Cubes.
• Misery: added voiceovers, which weren’t available in the previous versions.

Bug Fixes

Timer

• Due to having voice over, now the timer freezes when the voices are playing and prevents you from moving forward.

Save System

• Fixed issue with players losing progress after an update.

Steam Overlay

• Fixed issue where players couldn’t access Steam Overlay (SHIFT + TAB).

SteamVR

• Fixed issue where SteamVR would pop up whenever the game opened.

Level Transitions

• Fixed issue with being able to pause during a level transition (loading screen).

Improvements

Level 2 (Blue)

• Water droplets received a new and improved material.

New Options

Audio

• Added Audio Options that can be adjusted in the Main Menu.
• Players can test the volume when adjusting the volume, and are able to test the volume when moving the numbers.

  • SFX Volume
  • Voice Volume

Bug Fixes

General

• Adjusted wall-running and various parkour materials throughout the game so all the arrows are less visually distracting and impairing.
• Delay for still being able to jump after leaving a platform (a.k.a. Coyote Jump) added.
• Adjusted Pause Menu size for consistency.
• Updated hand animation on push ability use.
• Added ability to press all pause buttons (P, Esc, Gamepad Special Right) to resume play as well.
• All narrative audio now stops when paused and/or going back to the Main Menu and resumes when the player returns to the game.
• All level music now pauses/un-pauses when you pause/un-pause the game. It also resumes when going back to the Main Menu.

Tutorial Level

• Updated level design flow.

Level 1

• Fixed gap near the platforms after the green switch in Valley, so you can no longer fall down it.
• Wallrun materials replaced (one direction only).

Level 2

• Fixed maze house with new materials, for improved readability.
• Adjusted certain platform sizes.
• Second to last platform at the end of the level moved slightly down to help with that jump.
