Normally game developers start with a simple platformer with minimal graphics, just to get the hang of working on games. But I decided to skip the process entirely and make this fishing game with barely any knowledge of game development.
This started off as a tiny side project in February when I had literally no idea what I was doing. And now it's on Steam.
VASTWAKE: Entries 0–1 are the initial biome release to this game, which include THE PIER and THE TROPICS.
These biomes are complete with 70+ fish, spanning in different rarities (including super rare VARIANT types), 6 RODS, a shop, and a full LOGBOOK to keep track of your fish. Future biomes and other updates will be released as free updates.
