Big thanks to all of you who took the time to participate in the Character Creator contest! Let me introduce you to Beatrice.She is a very practical leader. Beatrice was born to a rich and noble human family. She received an excellent education and managed large family lands before the plague came to Sangavia. The disease took her parents, but the ancient vampire Vorago saved her and her brother and turned them into vampires.
Beatrice accepts their vampire nature as a fact. Moreover, she is never afraid to get her hands dirty. Beatrice has a practical, logical mind and an incredible memory for numbers, laws, and history. Human lords are afraid of her during political meetings: while others try to scare them with swords, Beatrice simply brings out financial books and maps, winning the argument with economic facts.
Most importantly, Beatrice deeply cares about her vampire servants, whom she considers her adopted children. She does not treat them like nameless slaves. She acts as a patient but strict mother figure. When problems or conflicts happen between the servants, she never uses violence. Instead, she resolves every issue peacefully through logic, discussion, and compromise. She spends a lot of time teaching them manners, history, and diplomacy, trying to instill true aristocratic values and self-control in every member of her growing clan.
Beatrice has a true passion for classical arts and science. She also practices blood alchemy. She experiments with different herbs that grow near the Silver Veil, blending them with collected blood to create unique tonics.
She regularly spends castle gold on old books, paintings, fine china, and expensive silk. But she does this as a smart politician, not just for fun. Beatrice understands the power of propaganda: when humans and enemy lords come to her citadel, they must see a rich, civilized, and highly cultural capital, not a dark tomb with wild monsters. Having her as an ally and the treasurer of the dynasty is a great strategic choice.
