Hey everyone, UNANSWERED is finally out and the response has been absolutely incredible. Seeing players from all over the world jump into our first game is a dream come true for our small student team. We have been watching your YouTube playthroughs, hanging out in Twitch streams and reading every single review. We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who gave the game a chance right at launch.

Updates and Feedback

We are reading absolutely everything you post in the Community Hub. Whether it is a positive review or constructive criticism, we are taking notes. Your feedback is what helps us improve the experience. Thanks to your reports we have already pushed a few updates. We fixed the most pressing bugs and added some quick Quality of Life improvements to make the gameplay feel much smoother right from the start.

New languages coming soon

Since we are seeing so many international players exploring the game, we want to make the game accessible to even more people. We are currently working hard on adding Korean and Russian translations. We will let you know as soon as they are ready. Please keep the feedback coming. We are paying close attention and going back to work to make Act 1 the best it can be. Thank you again for playing. Welcome to UNANSWERED. We are WhiteRoot Studio, a small indie team formed by three programming students. We are incredibly excited to announce that our first game is out now and completely free to play. Today we are releasing Act 1, which offers an average playtime of roughly 40 minutes. What to expect in Act 1:

• A Distorted Home: Explore the familiar yet twisted halls of your childhood home. What begins as a simple exploration quickly unravels as nightmares bleed into reality.

• Survive the Unknown: You are not alone in this house. The darkness hides more than just bad memories. You will need to manage your fear and stay away from the shadows if you want to make it out.

• Tools and Secrets: Use your flashlight to navigate the darkness and the UV light to reveal trails and hidden clues. Pay attention to your surroundings.

• Think Under Pressure: The path forward is blocked by forgotten secrets. You will need to keep a clear head to figure out how to advance, staying calm and reacting fast when things take a turn for the worse.
