Hello Coaches,

We are about to roll-out update 0.9.0, and it includes several major improvements aimed at deepening the core gameplay experience — especially around 2D match logic and new franchise-long challenges.

🆕 Legacy Goals

A brand new feature that introduces seasonal milestone objectives for the franchise you run.

This section unlocks after your first championship, and allows you to chase record-breaking stats, awards, or unique franchise feats — completing them rewards you with PWR to help power up your team’s long-term success.

🧠 2D Game Engine Upgrades

Improved QB Situational Awareness
Quarterbacks now behave more intelligently in pressure moments, and release the ball faster, depending on the field situation and play call.
Better QB Read Progression
Expect smarter passing decisions based on route design and defensive coverage. QBs will now look through multiple options rather than force passes too early.
Defense Play Recognition Enhancements
Defenders now diagnose plays faster and react more realistically — particularly against overly used play types: expect tougher opposition and more satisfying defensive battles.

This is part of our ongoing effort to tighten the feel of the 2D engine and bring it closer to true football strategy.

We’re continuing to expand your tactical toolbox:

QB Draw – Let your mobile quarterbacks shine with designed runs.
Run Option Plays – Adds more offensive flexibility and decision-making.
Better Situational Play Calls – You’ll feel better equipped for specific in-game scenarios (e.g., short yardage, red zone, etc.).

We’re tuning the core systems to make every down feel smarter and smoother:

Smarter defensive recognition
Improved play variety from AI teams
Various fixes to animations and player positioning

🏆 New Game Mode: "Legends" - Leaderboard Challenge

We’re introducing a new competitive franchise mode, where you start with a struggling franchise and get 25 seasons to turn things around:

All GM's will have same set of rules, cap and game difficulty
Once you complete the 25 seasons, your performance will be graded based on various factors and you land on an all-time leaderboard. and see where you compare with the rest of the community!

We’re listening closely, and a bunch of your suggestions are being included, like some additional fixes to award and HOF projections, and various UI and gameplay tweaks based on your feedback.
