Hello, Neighours!
As part of the Midsummer update, we have some changes coming your way!
Additions and Changes:
Added a new seasonal item set: Midsummer Set.
A new rare Neighbour will be looking for islands to visit until the end of the Midsummer event.
Added new color variations to the ducks.
Updated graphics for crying and watering animations.
That's it for now.
Happy Midsummer!
/Arvid and the Twinkleby team
Until June 30th, a Midsummer-themed decoration set will be available at Molligan's Antiques! Plus, a new rare Neighbour will be visiting islands he thinks are suitably (seasonally) decorated!
Decorate for the celebration of the summer season 🍓
Midsummer is a time to celebrate all things summer! Strawberries, flowers, sunshine, great food and even better company. In sunny Sweden, it also means a traditional midsommar pole, a country-wide party, and a... frog dance? We've added enough items to give your islands that frog-dancing vibe, you'll have to bring your own frog dancing though.
Items in the set:
Strawberry cake
Strawberry cake slice
Bottle with a little glass
Jug of flowers
Small midsummer pole
and (unlockable) traditional midsummer pole!
This newest rare Neighbour is on the lookout for islands that make him feel at home. He's our midsummer prince, flower-crowned and all, so we think some new decor should be enough to attract him? Worth a shot!
Yours fun-in-the-sun-ly,
The Might and Delight team

Hello Neighbours,
This is a hotfix patch to fix an issue with the new achievements.
Fixes:
Fixed a bug that caused the Vernal Celebration achievement to not trigger properly.
That's it for now, Happy Springtide! /Twinkleby Team
Until April 30th, not one but two new decoration sets will be available at Molligan's Antiques! Plus, a new rare Neighbour carrot wait to meet you!
Decorate your islands for the most floral time of year with the pinkest cherry blossom trees to the most iconic of all spring flowers: the humble daffodil. The set also includes some items for traditional spring festivities. The Maypole and a bonfire (Walpurgis Night/valborgsmässoafton). Not to mention the tradition of spring cleaning, celebrated in this item set with a cute broom!
Items in the set:
Cherry blossom tree
Flower basket
Daffodil
Broom
Maypole
Bonfires!
Springtide is the season of rebirth, of renewal, and (of course) eggs! As such, you can now decorate your island with a new set of egg-cellent items!
Items in the set:
Painted eggs
Cracked egg
Egg cup
Egg basket
Egg lamp
This newest rare Neighbour is on the lookout for a Springtide-themed floral island they can call home! They're only interested in hopping to islands that suit their requirements, so plant some seasonally appropriate decor about and don't floret to keep an eye to the skies!
To help those charting their way through Twinkleby's Archipelago, each island will now have a small gift the first time you visit. We're hoping these extra trinkets keep your islands looking sharp and your exploration feeling fun!
Bugs and kisses,
The Might and Delight team

Hello again, Neighours!
In this update, we’ve added some fancy seasonal items for Springtide and spring-cleaned away some pesky bugs.
Additions:
Added two new seasonal item sets: the Springtide Set and the Egg Set.
A new rare Neighbour will be looking for islands to visit until the end of the Springtide event. Keep watch! She's a big fan of these flowers...
When starting a new island for the first time, players will now receive a small "move-in gift" of items to decorate with. Keep a look out for the floating packages!
Fixes:
Fixed a critical bug that caused the auto-save process to not complete, resulting in a crash and in save data being corrupted.
Fixed a bug that caused the save file from Twinkleby Demo to not be properly transferred to Twinkleby.
Fixed a bug that caused Neighbours to not move out from a room if their bag was teleported out of the room.
Fixed a visual bug that caused a Neighbours bag to not be affected by outside lighting if it was teleported out of a house.
You can now place items on the Barrel item.
Neighbours can now eat from the Picnic Basket item.
Happy Springtide! /Twinkleby Team
You might notice your islands are looking a little more lively today. Perhaps a little extra adorable, even. Don't fret, this isn't a bug. Well, not that type of bug, anyway...
🌊 Birdwatchers will be excited to "sea" a seagull or two.
🐝🦋 Any gardening guests will adore the fluttering butterflies and buzzing bees set to sleep among the flowerbeds.
🐟🦆 Waterways are bubbling with flopping fish and paddling ducks.
🐌 Slow down and you might be in for a slimy surprise! Snails are sliding into a grassy patch near you.
🦇 Finally, for the ultimate cozy night atmosphere (and a potentially perfect gothic vibe), a coven of bats can be seen hanging around your islands.
Check out the trailer for a birds-eye-view of the critters included in this update!
The update also includes a slight rework on your Neighbours' bags. Firstly, they have all insisted on individually choosing an updated bag design that better suits their vibe. We can't argue with their cute little faces, so expect to add some colorful cargo to your collection.
After they've visited, you can now move them into their own home on your island. Using the magical powers of our patented ✨Bag Magic✨, moving a Neighbour's bag to a building will teleport them there! Moving them in and allowing them to appreciate all the work you've put into making their rooms perfect for them.
We are trusting you to use your almighty powers of Bag Magic for good.
Check out the trailer for this update for a sneaky peek into the cuteness.

In Twinkleby, you change the soundtrack as you play. Winter turns to spring, the backdrop changes from an archipelago of islands to a sky full of planets, day turns to night, and as you design the game world, you also compose the music.
Based on requests from all you lovely players, we today released the Twinkleby Soundtrack with 13 tracks. Most of the tracks are based on the interactive in game soundtrack that changes while playing, based on the visual environments for each island.
The soundtrack is made by Retro Family, who have composed the tracks that feature in-game tunes like the Neighbour song, Molligan's theme and the Main Theme, as well as several tracks that combine season and time of day, to create a diverse track list of different tunes that are possible in-game.

No trick, it´s a treat! We are thrilled to let you know that Hallowtide, a limited-time seasonal event, is now live in Twinkleby! Running from October 22nd to November 6th, our Hallowtide update brings a festive new shop lineup, a mysterious visitor, and several new gameplay features.
Visit Molligan’s Antiques during this eerie event to discover a special seasonal selection of items including carved pumpkins, novelty candles, pumpkin pies, and more. If you collect the full Hallowtide item set you'll receive an extra reward!
Photo inspired by 00kotoro00 on our Discord channel!
A new Neighbour has also arrived in Twinkleby - Countess Q. This mysterious guest will only visit islands decorated with a certain Hallowtide item, so gather and display these decorations before the event ends if you wish to welcome her.
New features and updates:
The Obbler: A new device created with "black hole"-inspired technology, allowing you to clean up vast outdoor spaces in a matter of seconds. The Obbler sucks up any items in its vicinity and returns them to the your inventory.
Overgrown Houses: Some new, rare individuals have been spotted in the Twinkleby archipelago: plant people, overgrown with flowers and leaves. Anyone who manages to attract them to their islands and cater to their wishes, will be rewarded with new variations of all fourteen houses! These house variations come with completely new visuals, where the houses are overgrown with vines and flowers - while their insides remain intact for decoration.
Twinkly Neighbours: Whenever a new neighbour arrives at an island, there’s a small chance they might be a “Twinkly” version - a special colour variant that’s extremely rare. Players can spot them instantly by their unique colouring and can view all the discovered Twinkly Neighbours in their “Collections” screen.
Evil doppelgangers: Just in time for Halloween, three neighbours in the Twinkleby archipelago have come face to face with their evil doppelgangers! Theodore, Edith and Dr. Damfino all have a sneaky twin chasing them around the archipelago, and if you get a visit from one of these neighbours, chances are that their doppelganger will also make their way to your island.
Along with these additions, the update will also deliver several fixes and quality-of-life improvements, focusing on reported issues and suggestions by players. See all patch notes here. Another patch is scheduled to roll out in November.
PS. And that´s not all! Twinkleby is now bundled with Trash Goblin on Steam giving 10% off the price. Get the Twinkleby + Trash Goblin Bundle here! Happy Hallowtide from Might & Delight 🖤

It is no exaggeration that when we announced this bundle to our team, a high-pitched cheer broke out. We are, to say the least, BIG fans of this adorable and serene builder made by fellow Swedish developer Oskar Stålberg and published by Raw Fury. The beautiful aesthetics, the no-win gameplay, the emphasis on playfulness and relaxation just make it the perfect toy in the toy-box next to Twinkleby. More about Townscaper can be found here:
Buy the bundle and you get a 10% discount on both games! Already bought one of them? No worries, you can chose to complete the set and still get a 10% discount on the other game.
Enjoy ✨

By the end of next week, we will pick our favourite contribution and who knows, maybe a little twinkle treat awaits!

"Arrived at last" by Bea.
