Greetings, ace conductors!

Another small update is already live, fixing occasional issues as well as rebalancing certain routes.

• Fixed the passenger softlock bug with player's UI and hands disappearing (hopefully).
• Decreased the number of passenger on routes in Night Shift mode.
• Decreased the number of passengers in Endless mode
• Implemented a delay for most passenger items for when they can activate: now leafblowers won't go off immediately once the passenger enters the bus.
• Updated credits

A new patch is already available to download, featuring some fixed issues and small difficulty rebalancing. BUGFIXES

Fixed the bug that locked already unlocked decorations & upgrades after replaying the tutorial.

Fixed a magnifying glass bug that made it unusable sometimes when playing on a controller.

Fixed rebinded keys displaying incorrectly.

Fixed issues where stats in info on TAB were displayed incorrectly.

Swapped places of unlockable rewards for getting C and B on regular routes - C is now an upgrade and B a decoration.

Fixed travel pass issues on Stone Age route.

Changed money goal logic in assessment a little bit - now it isn't 25% of the score if the player has the goal by the end and 0% if doesn’t. Now that 25% is filled gradually - meaning for example if player has 50% of the goal he will receive 50% of 25% of the score. This should make it easier to get higher grade. BALANCE CHANGES These are minor tweaks to make the game a little bit easier on later routes.

Reduced the number of passengers on Beach and following routes.

Rebalanced many passenger items, primarily ones on Beach and Stone Age routes.

Ocean Depths and Space routes were affected too but not that much.

Endless mode was made a little bit easier too (at least at the beginning). Since the game became easier you got no more excuses why you didn't S-Rank every route (wink) Also, thank you for the warm reception! The game already got more than 100 reviews and gets more and more with each day! Your support means a lot, thank you to everyone who has shown troublemakers and faredodgers their place - we love you. We’ve all been waiting for this day. In the playtest we’ve been riding, kicking and boxing. In the demo we checked countless travel passes and issued a multitude of tickets. Now passengers look up to you as their savior and fare evaders start shaking upon hearing your name. But it’s time to move to a whole other level…

TROLEU IS OUT NOW!

Here’s what we got:

• Never before seen routes: you’ll ride in Space, Ocean Depths and Stone Age, all with unique mechanics and hazards. Prepare to fight flies with a handheld fan, fix the cabin after depressurization and catch crabs and jellyfish before they sting somebody! And each also has a harder Night Shift mode.
• Endless mode: if you’re longing for more passengers even on the toughest of routes, we got you covered. Ride and serve to your heart’s content.
• Leaderboard: your achievements will be carefully recorded and displayed along with your friends’ – all made specifically to brag about being the better conductor.
• Bus customization: there’s a ticket printer, a swear tip jar, an automatic space foam dispenser. And all the decorations you could think of.

Great news, ace conductors!

Yep, you read the title right, TROLEU comes out September 15th! Currently we’re finishing up the last bits of the game and polishing everything to make sure it will function as smoothly as possible. You will experience every part of the conductor's job – selling tickets, checking travel passes, brawling with troublemakers, kicking out all unwanted passengers and even cleaning the vehicle. And all that in a chaotic, overstimulating and cluttered ride, with passengers and their belongings flying all over the place after a random road bump. Your main task is to keep the ride smooth! There’s a lot of new stuff coming on release! Check this out:

• 6 routes (2 of them you’ve seen in the demo and 4 are completely new): Suburbs, Countryside, Beach, Space, Stone Age and Ocean Depths! Each comes with unique features and mechanics, as well as specific rules for Night Shift mode, so there are 12 different levels in total. Expect low gravity, alien babushkas, dinosaurs, crabs, jellyfish and the messiest passengers for you to deal with!
• Route ranking and leaderboard, to reach new heights in your job and compete with your friends.
• Endless mode, in case you’ve served every passenger on Earth and still yearn for the Bus.
• Bus customization, from vintage decorations to useful upgrades. Collect tips, automatically clean dirty passengers or play slots on the job – we’re not your boss, we won’t judge.
• Updated UI – more clear and convenient, an amazing piece of Balkan design.

Hope you’re enjoying the demo. As you might know, Steam Next Fest has officially started, and TROLEU is in it! So, if you still haven’t felt the inspector’s warm embrace, heard rustling of banknotes in your bag, seen the footprint of your shoe on somebody else’s face – it’s the best time to get on the ride of your life. The best Balkan public transportation is up and running once again! We cooked up a demo based on your playtest feedback and it’s already available for everyone! Let’s see what it has in store for you:

• Two first routes – Suburbs and Countryside – and all that comes with them. Quarrelsome babushkas, insubordinate children, drunkards and fare evaders. And your job is to keep the ride smooth, so better be ready for some chaotic experience.
• Get ready to throw some fists! We designed a new combat system based on your feedback, with clearer timings and rhythm elements.
• New music! Chill accompaniment specifically designed to complement all of your working duties.
• Route-specific leaderboards between Steam friends. Now you can find out, to whom this line of work suits best.
• The demo is available in 18 languages, so you can play in your mother tongue – including Romanian and Croatian, for extra authenticity!

Hey there, future conductors!

TROLEU opens up its doors to everyone — the playtest begins now! So hop in. If you've already signed up for the playtest, then TROLEU should just pop up in your library and be available for installation (and playing!). So you can start your route straight away. And if you just found out about the playtest — don't worry, you can still apply until May 8th, and get the access immediately (our municipality is really short on staff). • Completing the tutorial and the first two routes: noisy Suburbs and sunny (although smelly) Countryside, make sure nobody gets away with evading the fare.
• Learning about your unexpected working duties, which include cleaning spilled manure, catching chickens and making sure all the passengers smell nice.
• Testing your skills on the Night Shift: watch out for thieves and make sure the generator is running to keep the lights on.
• Furnishing your bus to your heart’s content – from state-of-the-art tech to cozy antique interior.

But more importantly, since it's a playtest — we would really, REALLY appreaciate any and all feedback you might have on TROLEU. So don't forget to fill out the form accessible in the game, or share your thoughts on Steam Discussions and our Discord Server.

...And welcome to my monthly (or so) bus conductor professional (kinda) digest. All you need, want and have to know is here — to get you (and passengers) through your route. Remember your main and only duty is to “keep the ride smooth”! But if you want to really climb the ranks, you’ve got to become a pro. So grab your pack of tickets and crack your knuckles, kiddo. We’re gonna make the inspector proud. But first... Watch our introduction video to get the gist of it. It's gonna help you a ton. O the hardships of a conductor’s work! Let’s start with the basics: passengers must pay for the ticket. Cash, card, travel pass – we accept everything! Don’t forget to count the change and check if the travel pass is still valid. https://i.imgur.com/bWtDjsY.gif Of course, some of your passengers think they’re smarter than you. That they can dodge the fare! Well, maybe sometimes you can let it slide… Yeah, fat chance!. Punch ‘em, kick ‘em, drag ‘em the hell out of YOUR bus. The inspector isn’t really fond of freeriders, and you shouldn’t be either. Talented brawlers make for great conductors, trust me on that. https://i.imgur.com/cKC6n8u.gif But keep in mind: we love those who deserve a place in your bus. Treat them like you would treat your children – strictly, but with care. An unemployed musician wants to play his guitar, annoying your other children? Someone’s baby (almost your grandson) is crying? some spoiled kid pulls out a portable speaker?.. We won’t have any of this in our house. But at least they have a ticket, eh? So first ask them to keep it down. If they refuse — you already know what to do. https://i.imgur.com/kKCcz5Y.gif Remember, it’s your bus. Yes, you can be kicked out, if the inspector isn’t happy with you, but apart from that you’re free to do whatever you want to keep the ride smooth. For instance, why not add some comfy interior, so every passenger feels right at home? The finest decorations of all Balkans are here for you! Put that carpet on the wall, they’ll appreciate the nostalgic feeling. And this Soviet Baroque clock would impress everyone. They’ll know you’re a real deal. https://i.imgur.com/dih0ovz.gif Some automation would also help! You don’t have to check each travel pass, passengers can validate and get the ticket themselves. Just don’t forget to do the maintenance. Of course, it all depends. Mainly on your route. While jobs of conductors in noisy suburbs and in a sunny countryside look similar, it’s all about the nuances. In the countryside there may be fewer kids with speakers, but you’d be begging for them to come while cleaning the floor from manure and spilled pickles. And don’t get me started about the state of roads there… https://i.imgur.com/FtZMdJC.gif And beware of the night shifts, kiddo. Don’t be fooled by fewer passengers, because even those numbers will make you shake like a leaf in the storm. They won’t pay, they’ll fight for seats in your bus, they have no conscience, no self-governing and, possibly, no soul. Only the best of us can make it through the night shift. And a final heads-up – work responsibly! The inspector will inevitably come and he must leave satisfied, or it will be you leaving the bus. Unless you can kick him out… But it’s rather unprofessional to discuss this. Those conductors who are strong enough to beat the inspector don’t need to know all this, honestly.
