Train Valley Origins update version 1.0.27 is now available - restart your game/Steam client to receive:

• Updated Unity engine version to address the recently discovered vulnerability as per https://unity.com/security/sept-2025-01/remediation

• Workshop level browser now properly displays levels past the 100 mark - this was probably the cause for some levels being unavailable before

Train Valley Origins update version 1.0.26 is now available - restart your game/Steam client to receive @everyone :

• Minor optimization

• Workshop level description now has a character limit counter next to its text field (250 characters)

• Two depots placed next tot each other will no longer cause issues like trains passing through a depot's walls and/pr crashing trains upon scheduling

• Going back to Workshop from a level's page will now put you right back into the previous Workshop page you've been at

Train Valley Origins update version 1.0.23 is now available - restart your game/Steam client to receive :

• You are now able to use all 20 depots on a single level - and level editor will not get stuck on profitability calculations

• Workshop browser now supports some more exotic screen resolutions

The very same editor we've used to create Train Valley Origin's campaign is now available!

• Shape your design and choose from 4 special mechanics

• Garnish it with more than 500 decorative objects

• Unlock 64 additional decorations as you play and earn XP

• Publish levels and download other player's creations through the in-game browser - we have prepared 17 brand new levels for you to try (look for Grem19's submissions) and get acquainted with the workshop while you do

• Then head over to your Steam profile and get yourself a Train Valley Origins badge with all the Train Valley Origins Steam trading cards you've earned :)

But that of course isn't all.

We are hosting a level design contest with Steam wallet funds prizes:

• You have until 1st of September to devise a level and upload it

• We will choose 5 winners at the end of the contest based on a weekly level roundup

• There are no specific requirements except that your level should be completable :)

Train Valley Origins update version 1.0.21 is now available - restart your game/Steam client to receive :

• Bridge segment prices were fixed for straight and sloped segments, and one can no longer delete a part of a bridge as well - it's either all or nothing :)

• Switches are now visible through every kind of obstruction

Friday LPT is almost upon us and a Train Valley Origins update version 1.0.20 is now available - restart your game/Steam client to receive:

• Train's info badge will no longer be visually blocked after a wrong delivery

• Rail half segment no longer disappear when connecting to a depot or another dead end, sloping down half segments are fixed too

• Your trains will no longer spawn slightly behind a depot's back wall when sent out

• A switch you get when connecting tracks to an existing route will now block itself correctly

• Some depots have received animations

• Planning tracks past a 90 degree junction will no longer get stuck on that junction

• A Tier 5 Wolf locomotive (or any other locomotive you might be missing after reaching level 18) is waiting for you in the Train Shed

• Level 39 explosions in close to each other depots are gone

Steam Summer Sale 2025 starting day update for Train Valley Origins version 1.0.17 is now available - restart your game/Steam client to receive:

• Depot marker will now stay out of the way when looking at its outgoing tracks

• Buying and selling tracks price hints now have backgrounds for better visibility

• Level 39 (The Pagoda) Bank and Windmill depots will no longer blow up your trains by teleporting them around

• You're no longer able to add a tunnel piece to a bridge on level 27 (Waterfalls)

• You will now correctly unlock all currently available locomotives upon reaching appropriate level and completing campaign

• Your trains will no longer explode when entering a depot while still leaving another depot

• Freezing while unlocking a new locomotive card has been eliminated

• Building a bridge from a 90 degree track intersection was disabled and will no longer spawn a tunnel segment

• You're no longer able to break the game by building tracks in specific areas of Yellowstone (#14)

• Fixed tearing cars from their locomotives by deleting a switch/junction

• Level 35 trains will no longer leave the station with a Diamond car already attached

• Fixed tearing cars from their locomotives by delivering a sped up train into a wrong depot

• Fixed tearing cars from their locomotives by building a turn right under the locomotive's wheels as it tries to drive straight

• Fixed the game locking you into building straight tracks only in track planning mode

• Fixed deleting anything other than track tiles counting towards the Do not delete more than X track tiles

• * Fixed Steam cloud overwriting your progress with an empty file and erasing your progress when playing from separate computers

  * Removed ability to send your train underground by breaking a bridge in track planning mode

  * Added green income popup message upon a train's arrival to a depot

  * Fixed building bridges going down a double slope sometimes breaking in track planning mode

  * Made special effects invisible before the level's tiles spawn in

  * Fixed the "Prevent trains from autoscheduling" challenge failing when starting a train out of a depot that already has another train coming in or going out
