That's right! We heard you like collecting trading cards, so we put Steam trading cards in your regular trading cards so you can collect trading cards while you grade trading cards!
Not only are there Steam Trading Cards to collect, but other Steam Community Items to earn:

5 (6!) Plarbo-style Badges to wear on your profile to prove your cult membership.
5 Beautiful Profile Backgrounds (all in classic monochrome),

Simply play the game for a while to unlock 4/7 cards, and collect the rest by trading. You may even get lucky and find a shiny... ːplarboeatː

New: CHALLENGE MODE!
A new variant of Endless Mode, unlocked by collecting all 20 modifiers, where you can challenge yourself against waves of modifiers in a set order.
There are 5 new special palettes to unlock, lots of money to earn and bragging rights to claim!
Also: TINY TEAMS!
We were lucky enough to be selected to participate in this year's edition of Tiny Teams (Starting Aug 6th!), a Steam festival celebrating small dev teams with big ideas (that's us!). TCI will be 30% off for the next few days while the event is on, alongside a ton of other amazing games by small studios, go check them out! There may also be some streamers trying out the game during the event, so make sure to check in with your new colleagues and evaluate their progress... We were just in the Monochropoly Steam Festival, celebrating b/w or monochrome games, which included a video showcase where we explain why we chose to use a 1-bit art style.
We're also going to be in the upcoming Cat Awareness Feline Sale 2026, starting on Aug 7th, to celebrate, well... Cats!

Challenge Mode
Face off against waves of modifiers that activate in a set order.
5 new special colour palettes only available for reaching certain rank thresholds.
Colour Sensitivity Toggle
We heard some people were made to feel dizzy or unwell due to the Hallucinations modifier that changed colours, so we've reduced the speed that the colours change while it is active, and added a new toggle to the pause menu to turn it off completely.
Modifier Balance Changes
A new Health and Safety Officer has been hired to improve worker safety. They have implemented the following protocols to reduce HR complaints and company liability.
New foundational supports on the Habubis Corporation office building.
(Earthquakes now appear less frequently on average.)
Backup generators installed in all Habubis offices.
(Power-cuts now also appear less frequently.)
Changed the dissolving ink formula to save on costs.
(Dissolving Cards now dissolve less quickly on average.)
Our bees have now been genetically altered to remove their "Glow-in-the-dark" gene.
(Bees no longer appear fully lit when the power goes out.)
A new Schrödinger-style Safeflame now only activates if in your direct line-of-sight.
(Fire Cards no longer burn when the game is paused.)
Acid Drop Warnings now appear on top of everything for added clarity.
Minor Bug, Text & UI Fixes
Sparkles on the Habubis Company Store Button should no longer appear if you have unlocked the achievement for buying everything in the store.
Changed the wording on some memos to be clearer.
Minor spelling/grammar fixes in English, French, Chinese and German.
