Starting today, Extra Song Pack Vol. 15 is now available!
This pack adds 15 new playable tracks, including 2 originals “Because the Last One is Used to It ~ Stone Goddess.” and “Reminiscence of Deer Hunting”.
Vol. 15 features a new original arrangement, "Reach for the Moon, Immortal Metal," a powerful, emotional track centered on Fujiwara no Mokou by Daisuke Kurosawa.
In addition, the popular track “Respec Fujin” now supports background video playback during gameplay.
We plan to expand background video playback to more tracks in future updates, so stay tuned!

A new original track, “Danmaku Heroism”, created by Maron (arrangement) and Kanamai (vocals) from the renowned Touhou circle IOSYS, has been added.
This track is a newly arranged piece based on the popular original “Hartmann’s Youkai Girl”, created exclusively for this title.

February 8, 2026 marks two years since the Steam release.
To thank you for your continued support, we’re releasing a new update.
Below are the additions and fixes included in the Steam v1.13.1 update.
This free update adds the following two songs:
A legendary track defining the game’s highest difficulty, “X,” returns in a bold new fully live performance by marasy and a string quartet.
Experience a powerful yet elegant musical performance, now reimagined for rhythm gameplay.
The theme song composed by Touhou Project creator ZUN for the indie game showcase event INDIE Live Expo.
Selected at ZUN’s own request during the Original Song Draft Meeting, this track joins DanKagu as a truly special addition. At 5 minutes 48 seconds it becomes the longest track ever featured in the game!
As a boss stage, the track features a special performance starring Reimu Hakurei alongside LEX-kun, an official INDIE Live Expo mascot.
Starting today, Extra Song Pack Vol. 13 is now available!
This pack adds 15 new playable tracks, including the original “Tonight Stars an Easygoing Egoist (Live ver.) ~ Egoistic Flowers.”
Vol. 13 features a new original arrangement, "wish," a powerful, emotional track centered on Marisa Kirisame by RD-Sounds of the Touhou arrangement circle Diao ye zong.
In addition, the popular track “Cirno’s Perfect Math Academy” now supports background video playback during gameplay.
We plan to expand background video playback to more tracks in future updates, so stay tuned!

・Fixed an issue in Kagura Stage where some Live2D character animations overlapped with the note lanes.
・To address reports of music and notes gradually falling out of sync in certain environments, a new Music Sync ON/OFF option has been added to the settings (default: OFF). If you are experiencing sync issues, please try enabling it.
The next DLC, Extra Song Pack Vol. 14, is scheduled for release on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

This pack features the selected tracks from the first-ever arrangement contest for Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost! Selected from over 200 submissions, these fan-arranged tracks bring fresh energy to the game!

Since its Steam launch on February 8, 2024, Phantasia Lost is approaching its 2nd anniversary in 2026! To celebrate, DLC Season 4 kicks off with Extra Song Packs Vol. 13 & 14!
Recent song packs included 10 tracks per DLC (including one original Touhou Project track). Starting with Season 4, each DLC will now include 15 tracks, for a total of 30 tracks, offering a richer, more diverse world of Touhou arrangements.
A Season Pass combining both DLCs will also be available at a special price, so mark your calendars for the release dates!
Releasing February 8, 2026 (JST), Vol. 13 includes the highly requested original track: Tonight Stars an Easygoing Egoist (Live ver.) ~ Egoistic Flowers.
It also features fan favorites across eras: Melody! by R-NOTE, Sakkyun Light (2025) by Sekkenya, Cirno no Perfect Sansuu Kyoushitsu by COOL&CREATE
And a highlight of this pack is a brand-new arrangement by RD-Sounds of the Touhou arrangement circle Diao ye zong. Known for works sometimes called “listening doujinshi,” RD-Sounds’ original track for Danmaku Kagura promises a unique musical world. Look forward to its February release!

The following additions and fixes have been implemented in this update:
Marisa of Liartop Mountain is the latest RPG based on Touhou Project from Unknown X.
Launching tomorrow, September 19 at 1:00 PM JST!
To commemorate the release, two new songs have been added in a free update:
- Monopolistic Tycoon
- Machikado no Mikosama
These new tracks are brought to you by Diao ye zong・RD-Sounds, as you know in Dankagu for 『Uso to Doukoku』 and 『Unprivileged Access』.
RD-Sounds provides a rich, emotionally resonant Touhou-style arrangement that enhances the journey of Reimu as she explores a mysterious book world in search of the vanished Marisa.
All background music in the game is newly arranged for the game.
A separate DLC is also available, allowing you to swap out the in-game BGM for a curated set of RD-Sounds arrangements selected by RD-Sounds.
The two new tracks—『Monopolistic Tycoon』 and 『Machikado no Mikosama』—are available to all players who own the Dankagu base game. Be sure to check them out!
That's not all! This collaboration includes more than just music!
A rather… unique version of Marisa from『Marisa of Liartop Mountain』will be joining!
That’s right, in the game, multiple variations of Marisa appear as chapter bosses.
The one joining Dankagu this time is... the infamous "Nouveau Riche Marisa!"
Draped in jewels, coins, and every form of glittering treasure, she now seeks one final wish...

・In Free Mode, the High Score / Kagura Rate display setting on the song select screen is now saved and will remain after restarting.
・Fixed a crash issue that occurred when opening the Heroine List from the Gallery after beating the song 『Alice Maestera(REBIRTHED)』 from Extra Song Pack Vol. 9.

Today, we’ve launched Extra Song Pack Vol. 10. This update adds 10 new songs, including the original track “A Soul as Scarlet as a Ground Cherry.”
Also debuting is an exclusive new arrangement by the renowned rap arranger TamaOnSen titled “DA-DA-ON-SEN (feat. Utenkekkou)!”
A new boss heroine, Raiko Horikawa, has also been added. Feel the intense beats that resonate within your soul!

Fixed difficulty sorting in Free Mode where it always referenced 6KEY, regardless of mode.
Fixed an issue in Free Mode where the filter history from the previous play session was not applied the first time filters were used after launching the game.
Fixed Kagura Settings dialog issues before song start:
Removed difficulty restriction text from the Outer Random description.
Fixed a bug where resetting settings in 4KEY mode caused Outer Random to become unavailable.
Adjusted the Footer Help Bar (the UI showing key assignments at the bottom right):
Added display for page switching.
Removed the Left/Right key indicators from screens where those inputs are no longer used following this update.

・Fixed an issue where the game would become unplayable (black screen) when starting a song on the Kagura Stage using one of the newly added 4KEY or 6KEY charts.
・Fixed an issue where the chart difficulty level was displayed incorrectly for some songs.

We have identified the following issues in Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost, after the v1.9.1 update released on June 26.
When playing a song on the Kagura Stage and selecting one of the newly added 4KEY or 6KEY charts, the screen goes black and the game becomes unplayable.
In some songs, the chart difficulty level is displayed incorrectly.
Please refer to the list at the bottom of this notice for details on the affected songs and charts.
We kindly ask all players to refrain from playing the affected charts until the issues are resolved.
The cause has already been identified, and we are working to address the problems as quickly as possible.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Once the release schedule for the patch is finalized, we will provide further updates.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve these issues.

The following additions and fixes have been implemented in this update:
With today’s update, all songs in Kagura Stage now support both 4 KEY and 6 KEY play styles across all difficulty levels!
Until now, EASY and NORMAL were locked to 4 KEY, while HARD and LUNATIC defaulted to 6 KEY. But from v1.9.1 onward, you can freely choose either 4 KEY or 6 KEY for any song and difficulty.
Whether you prefer the simplicity of 4 KEY, the challenge of 6 KEY, or want to master both, you now have the freedom to play your way. Update now and enjoy an even more flexible DanKagu experience!
