Hello everyone, we have just released a new update package. This update mainly includes adjustments and fixes for issues that may affect the gameplay experience. The current version is ver_2.5.3, which can be checked in the top-left corner of the game menu.

Update

• Added controller support during gameplay, including customizable button mapping

• Fixed an issue where Workshop characters could occasionally display incorrect residence information in the game

If you experience controller compatibility issues or encounter other related problems after the update, please contact us via Discord or email. We will continue to monitor and address these issues.

We’ve just released a new update focusing on fixes and adjustments for issues that may affect gameplay experience.

The current version is ver_2.4.8, which you can check in the top-left corner of the in-game menu.

【Bug Fixes】

• Fixed an issue where background music could pause automatically under certain conditions

• Fixed an issue in the Noble Clan quest “Bandit Suppression” where directly destroying the bandit camp could prevent the quest from progressing

【Improvements】

• Improved system notifications when resources are missing after creating custom Workshop mods

• Adjusted reward drops for Patriarch battles

• Rebalanced stats for certain armor pieces to better match their intended levels

• Improved story presentation in the Zhang Liao and Guan Yu character biographies

How do I install the DLC?

The DLC must be installed manually. In your Steam Library, select Three Kingdoms Mushouden, click DLC under the Play button, then download the DLC you want to access it in game.

New Gameplay Feature: Subdue Generals

Three new special tools for capturing enemy generals have been added: Grappling Hook, Horse Snare, and Serpent Bind.

These tools can be obtained from Noble Armories, Bandit Armories, City Markets, and Chronicle quests. Use them in battle to capture generals you desire.

After successfully capturing a general, you may choose to recruit them, release them, execute them—or squeeze some extra profit from your prisoner. The choice is yours.

🎨 About the Workshop

• Content that violates laws in the dev team’s or Steam platform's regions, including political topics and child exploitation;
• Use of unauthorized or copyright-infringing materials;
• Mods created using AI-generated content;
• Any off-site links, paid content, or any form of monetization through mods.

• Zhen Ji is now available and can be triggered and recruited in-game;
• A new Red Armor drops at low chance from high-level bandit camps;
• A new Red Helmet also drops at low chance from high-level bandit camps.

• Fixed an issue where the initial favorability with noble families was incorrect for certain starting characters.
• Fixed an issue where Yuan Lu would incorrectly appear during assassination events for non-Yuan Gang characters.
• Fixed a bug where strategist skill names wouldn't display when the strategist was placed in an ambush slot.

• Improved the performance of Ultimate animations to reduce stuttering.
• Optimized enemy-seeking pathfinding in combat.

• Fixed a progression bug in the final stages of Taishi Ci's questline.
• Fixed an issue where a follow-up quest in Zhao Yun’s story would occasionally fail to trigger.

• Fixed a bug where engraved generals generated incorrect ultimate skills when starting a new game
• Fixed the auto-targeting feature not working when using box selection mode

• Fixed a freeze issue when demonstrating Ultimate Skills in custom character creation.
• Fixed a bug where another Zhang Xiu could appear during Zhao Yun's main story.
• Ju Shou’s strategist skill now works correctly.
• Corrected the skill description for Arrow Rain series skills.
• Changing equipment no longer resets the dynamic character illustration in the character screen.

• After completing Zhao Yun's main story, True Zhao Yun can now be used in Sandbox Mode!
• True Zhao Yun can now be used in Engraving Mode.
• Engraved generals can now produce Ultimate Skill Manuals again (make sure the difficulty setting for producing manuals is enabled).
