Bugfix: The achievement for collecting 100 solar cells now triggers correctly.
The shovel is now about three times cheaper.
You can now set an FPS limit in the settings. Additionally, V-Sync can be enabled in the settings.
The text now has a small black shadow to make it easier to read, as it was pointed out that white text on a light green background was hard to see. Additionally, all light green buttons have been made slightly darker.
Bugfix: Units no longer teleport toward the Nexus when getting stuck in stones. Instead, they now try to find a free space behind them.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where all units occasionally spawned on the same spot. Since this bug was difficult to reproduce, we can’t guarantee it’s completely resolved — but we’re hopeful it’s finally gone!
Fixed a bug that allowed players to purchase the bank infinitely at the start of the game when not in tutorial mode.
Improvements & Updates
You can now click on the towers in the top-left corner of the screen to see which ones are running low on energy.
Rebuilt the hangar with a new look and updated graphics.
Stones can now be mined with the shovel.
Stones are now more visible, so it’s easier to see where enemies can walk.
Bug fix: Towers accidentally didn’t search for the best enemy. This has been fixed.
When placing new buildings, a green zone is now displayed to show where they can be placed, since new players had difficulties figuring out where the first building could go.
Towers can now be moved.
Chunks can no longer be purchased, because now you can buy stones to clear space instead.
At game start, it is checked whether you are logged into Steam (to prevent piracy).
Bug fix: In the enemy info display, you could see the HP of enemies that weren’t unlocked yet.
The Discord link was unfortunately no longer valid. A new one has been added.
When hovering over the 3 resources (Mana, Blocks, Gold), an info box now appears at the top that describes the resource.
Bug Fix – Nexus Nexus can no longer be purchased twice.
New Sound Added: Craft Black By Hand.
Unit Teleportation Units no longer teleport backwards when stuck, but to the side.
Tower Targeting System The old tower always targets the enemy that is closest to it. The new tower, on the other hand, first focuses on the position of its last shot and looks for a new target there. However, if another unit comes too close to the tower, it immediately turns to it and attacks instead. This way, it doesn’t waste as much time rotating. Click here for video
Game Start Changes At the beginning of the game, you now only start with 2 blocks, and the first tower costs nothing.
Bug Fix – First Tower Quest When starting the first wave, then finishing it and destroying a tower afterwards, you got stuck in the quest: "buy first tower".
Demo Feature You can now delete or load your save file (but only one save file in total, demo only).
Localization Fix ToString was localized so that numbers no longer display differently depending on system language. For example, someone’s cooldown showed as 0.173194184 sec instead of 0.173, because their language settings caused the ToString function to format numbers differently.
Visual Update - Energy bar redesigned. - Stones redesigned.
Settings Note In the settings it now says that you can press F11 to toggle fullscreen (though this was already possible before).
Security Update Security for theft protection expanded.
Tower Behavior Fix (Sniper / Shotgun / Smelter)
Previously, towers often rotated back and forth by 180° after each shot, wasting time instead of focusing on enemies.
Now, before firing, a tower checks where it last shot. If an enemy is still there, it will keep shooting in that direction, reducing unnecessary spinning.
Demo Fix
You can now load the old demo saves again.
Shop
The shop has been redesigned to make placing towers much faster and more seamless.
Unlock Animation
Many players didn’t understand that unlocking a tower doesn’t automatically give it. This animation now shows the lock breaking to clarify that the tower still needs to be purchased afterwards.
Quest System Update
Quests are now saved with their names as strings, making them easier to edit in future updates.
Bug Fix: Flying Text
Flying text no longer appears when buying a building.
Spawn Zone Progression
Instead of moving back every 5 levels, the spawn zone now shifts every level.
New Message
If the player tries to buy a building while a wave is running, a warning message will appear.
Demo Call to Action
At the end of the demo, and also in the main menu, players are now prompted to wishlist the full game so they won’t miss the release, and they can also join the official Discord server. Thanks for all the feedback! The next update is already in the works :)
