Thank you all so much!!!
“The Seven Days I spent with You” Reached 500 Steam Reviews Within a Week of Release! 92% Positive Rating on Steam!
I’m truly grateful to everyone who bought and played this game, and who took the time to write a review. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I’ve been reading through the Steam reviews: praise for the pure love story, for Shiro, the Live2D animations, the natural voice acting, and the great value for money...
I’ll keep doing my best! (ノ_<。)ヾ(´ ▽ ` )
What makes me happiest is seeing that you all love Shiro—her cuteness, her clumsy yet sincere way of expressing her feelings, and that final bond where, even across the barriers of memory, they still want to be by each other’s side.
While I appreciate the recognition, I am also well aware that the game still has its shortcomings and room for improvement. It is precisely because of everyone’s love for Shiro that you are willing to be so forgiving of this game.
🤔 I’ve noticed that some of the questions you’ve raised about the game include:
“Not what was advertised”? Some players came for a “yandere girl,” only to find that the game is actually a pure love action title.
I’ll start by bowing my head in apology for this one. It seems my portrayal of the yandere trait wasn’t mature enough, leaving players who were expecting a higher “yandere factor” a bit disappointed. orz
In addition, some players have mentioned issues such as the ending feeling a bit rushed, insufficient emotional buildup, too few romantic moments, and an underdeveloped world-building, as well as bugs affecting the continuity of CG scenes, malfunctions with the Steam close feature, and a poor save file experience. They have suggested adding features to optimize the experience, such as the ability to skip repetitive content.
I will carefully consider all this feedback and do my best to address these issues.
🔔🔔 Upcoming Content:
Steam Community items are now unlocked, and I’m currently working on cards, badges, emotes, backgrounds, and more. If the review process goes smoothly, I’ll be able to release them sooner—I’ll send out a separate announcement when that happens!
Going forward, I’ll be updating and optimizing the game based on your feedback, fixing bugs, refining text details, and improving dynamic visual effects.
There’s also one request that’s been particularly popular—people want to see more of Shiro. 🙏🙏
As for the spin-off DLC everyone’s been looking forward to… of course I’d love to make it!
If the game’s future sales cover the development costs, I’ll consider creating a spin-off DLC to continue the storylines we didn’t have time to explore and flesh out the characters and settings that everyone cares about.
Reaching 500 reviews isn’t the end—it’s just the starting point for my continued efforts.
As my somewhat inexperienced debut work, *The Seven Days I Spent with You* still has many shortcomings and plenty of room for growth.
Every review you’ve left is not just an evaluation of this game—it will also serve as an important reference for my future game development. Whether the feedback is positive or negative, I’ll carefully consider how to improve in the future, and I look forward to bringing you even better games.
Finally, I’d like to once again thank every player who purchased the game, left a review, and recommended it to others.
