Hey gang! Our Huge Update launches as we join the Steam Summer Sale! Every player who logs into the game during the Steam Summer Sale will receive Human summer outfit. What’s in the Update? Here’s the list:

🦟 New Game Mode: Mosquito Infestation 🦟

Up to four Human players fight HUGE swarms of Mosquitoes. Try to survive 10 waves to win the game! Use new weapons to fight back:

Nerf Heavy Machine Gun

Toy Pistol

Flamethrower (this one is not homemade)

Turbo Smoke Spiral

Enhanced Sniper Fumigator

In future updates, we’ll provide additional options for this game mode, including difficulty scaling for single-player, and a friendly fire switch to take the challenge to another level.

New Map: Polygon

We saw a lot of feedback regarding the difficulty of our mini games. So, we created a map for you to launch in single player and try everything the game offers: quest mini games, human devices, or mosquito abilities.

🧍 Human

Human health points are now shown as numbers, not percentages.
Added a new weapon to the Human shop – Toy Pistol.
Added visual effects to spiral and fumigator poison damage on Mosquitoes.
Added a visual indication for low health.
Added Yellow Suit outfit.
Added Beach outfit.

🦟 Mosquito

Added new Gardener ability: spawn grass on any flat surface to provide a reliable hiding place for the entire team.
Added new Speed Flag ability: all mosquitoes within the radius have increased speed.
Speed Flag ability upgrade – Totem of Torture: your flag also emits mosquito buzzing to confuse Humans.
Speed Flag ability upgrade – Scarecrow: your flag creates fake mosquitoes that are visible in AR glasses.
Shield ability upgrade – The Dome: now you can cover your entire team with a shield.
Added Shark outfit.

Hey gang! As we prepare the Huge Update for the Steam Summer Sale, this week we're addressing some minor issues in our latest update, introducing new human cosmetics, and making balance changes to some Mosquito cards.

🧍 Human

Added a large number of new cosmetics for humans
Fixed a bug with the display of a rocket in an already-used grenade launcher
Disabled the motion sickness effect when a person rotates quickly

🦟 Mosquito

Changed the visuals of the astral mosquito
Fixed a bug with the incorrect display of blood in the blood station
Mosquitoes with invisibility are now also highlighted by glasses
Rebalanced card drop chances.
Bloodsucker: Max Blood +10% -> +10 flat
Tough Guy: Max Blood +10 -> Removed
Dracula: +10% Health Regeneration -> +5% Health Regeneration

🖥️ UI

Added a visual indication for voice chat
Fixed a bug where team chat was not visible
Improved chat visuals
Fixed bugs with the emotion wheel

A purchase delay has been added for some items in the human shop. Explanation from the developers: "This should balance the progression of mosquitoes and humans, giving them equal chances"
Fixed the number of dishes in the dishwashing quest
The toilet quest has been slowed down by 2x
Flamethrower duration increased by 30%

Visual effect of invisibility became more noticeable for the human
Added sound effects to some mosquito emotes

🖥️ UI

New settings for UI control have been added
Emotion wheel for the human added when holding the "R" key
Emotion wheel for the mosquitos added when holding the "R" key
Action wheel for the mosquito added when holding the mouse wheel

🔧 Other

Added sound volume options for team voice chat

Your support and detailed reports helped us pinpoint the key areas for improvement. This update brings targeted changes to both factions, improves overall quality of life, and fixes some long-standing technical issues. We’ve made mosquitoes stronger, humans a bit more fair, and the game as a whole more enjoyable to play — whether you’re biting or blasting.
