Li Studio & Eternal Dream Studio2026.7.26On July 26, we'll officially release the first three chapters of the game. Welcome to Baker Elementary, where you'll join Watsonia and Holmlyn on a lighthearted school adventure filled with mystery and deduction!
The Grade 5B Case Files is a story-driven visual novel centered around everyday school-life mysteries. As the two protagonists encounter a series of unusual incidents hidden within their ordinary elementary school life, players will investigate clues, solve puzzles, and uncover the truth alongside them.
The game consists of five chapters. Chapters 1–3 will be released on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Chapter 1 will be available for free, while Chapters 2 and 3 will be released as DLC. Each DLC is priced at $2.99, with a 20% launch discount, bringing the price down to approximately $2.4.
Chapters 4 and 5 will be released at a later date. Stay tuned!

《五年B班事件簿》是一款以小学生日常推理剧情为主的校园群像文字冒险游戏，目前已经在Steam推出免费Demo，欢迎大家前往体验。本作采用了章节制开发的形式。共包含5个章节。
我们计划于2026年夏季率先推出第1章（免费）以及第2、3章DLC，届时将开放第1～3章内容。第4、5章预计将在后续开发完成后以DLC形式陆续推出，购买完整版预售档位的玩家无需再次购买，即可获得后续全部章节。
这次众筹既是游戏的预售，也是开发与发行团队共同推进项目的一次尝试。我们希望借此推进后续章节开发、本地化等工作，也希望在游戏上线之际，为喜欢这部作品的玩家带来一些可爱又值得收藏的周边。

The Grade 5B Case Files is a narrative AVG focused on everyday mysteries from the lives of elementary school students. The two protagonists encounter ordinary yet unusual incidents at school, and through investigation and deduction, players uncover the truth together with them.
The Next Fest demo includes the first nine scenes of Chapter 1. Witness the first meeting between Holmlyn and Watsonia, and follow their very first investigation together while experiencing the game's unique school-life mystery atmosphere.
The demo is available in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese. Choose your preferred language and enjoy the story!
The full game will feature a chapter-based structure with 5 chapters in total. Chapter 1 will be released for free, Chapters 2–3 will launch together as DLC, and Chapters 4–5 will be added in future updates. The stories of Chapters 1–3 are planned to arrive this summer.

Get an early look at how Holmlyn and Watsonia form their team of two, and follow the beginning of their first investigation and deduction as you get a feel for the game’s story atmosphere and mystery-solving rhythm.
The full version will feature a linear chapter-based story structure. The game will have 5 chapters in total, with each chapter taking about 1 hour to play. Chapter 1 will be released for free and can be enjoyed as a complete standalone story. Chapters 2–3 will be released together as DLC, while Chapters 4–5 will be updated later after the earlier chapters are released.

Happy New Year, players! Here's some good news—
Join Holmlyn and Watsonia as they uncover various everyday yet mysterious incidents at school. Through investigation and deduction, they will crack the secrets hidden in plain sight. The Steam page is now live, so be sure to add it to your wishlist!
Watsonia, a student in Grade 5, Class B at Seashell Elementary School, buys a notebook at a stationery store. At the time, she has no idea what she wants to write in it—she simply finds the cover cute and decides to buy it. This notebook becomes the starting point that brings Watsonia and her classmate Holmlyn together as a team of two, investigating and deducing unusual incidents hidden within daily school life.
In this game, you'll join Holmlyn and Watsonia to collect clues, investigate, think critically, and crack one small mystery after another.
If you get stuck during your investigations, just flip through Watsonia’s notebook—she’s carefully recorded every clue!
The game features a chapter-based linear narrative structure, with a total of 5 chapters, each taking about 1 hour to play. Chapter 1 will be available for free, and subsequent chapters will be released as DLC. As the story progresses, the story of school will gradually unfold.
There are also plans for new titles in the series, each containing 5 chapters, continuing to explore mysteries hidden in daily life.
The game is developed by Teacher Li, with art by zahyou and published by Eternal Dream Studio.
