I wanted to take a moment to showcase some of the changes that are coming to the game.
In the final version, there will be a transition scene depending on the time of day.
There will also be an updated name plate and game controls to allow for more room in the dialogue box.

I'm super excited to announce that The Afterlife Cafe will be releasing on July 24, 2026!
Updates based on your feedback on the demo are underway and will be part of the release!

For the first time, Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) has an Indie Game Showcase. Come hang out with me and the other indie devs showcasing their games at the Side Quest area at C2E2.
At my table, you'll be able to play the demo. You can also try out an exclusive affinity quiz to see which of The Afterlife Cafe concierges you may be most similar to!
Each day, for the first few attendees that visit my table, I'll be giving out tokens to anyone who has wishlisted the game. There may even be a special guest at the table!
Quantities are limited so come early!

Playing The Afterlife Cafe Demo
Introducing the loyalty card for your afterlife cafe visits!
You will be able to collect stickers each time you visit a cafe. It’s a nice way to visualize your progress throughout the game. The Afterlife Cafe will have various points of interactivity throughout, in addition to the selection of choices you make in the game. I also want to ensure there are multiple ways of performing an action. You can drag the sticker to the card or right click the sticker to place it on the card.About
