Fixed an issue on Day 20 where thank letters could not be generated for certain interviewees and F32 who hold a Residence Permit.
Fixed an issue where changing the date format would not consistently update the date format on interview documents.
Fixed an issue where referral text on the settlement sheet could overflow its text box.
Fixed an issue on Day 15 where Q&A errors for characters with incorrect dates could not be used to generate thank letters.
Fixed an issue where, if the bill was submitted before entering A02’s memory on Day 18, the bill would need to be submitted again after completing the A02 event.

Mac text display: If Mac users see "UI_XXX" displayed on the game's main screen, please click the globe icon in the lower left corner to switch languages and restore normal text.
Breakdown effects: If you see red and blue flashing effects on screen, this is not a bug. This effect is caused by the protagonist’s Breakdown value being too high. Please purchase items that reduce Breakdown value from the apartment shop to remove the effect.
Regarding issues with interview folders: If you are unable to use the Hire or Reject folder, please make sure that the file you are dragging is a resume, not a graduation certificate or other documents. It would be great if you can include a reproduction video or your exact steps in the bug feedback form so that we can investigate the cause. Thank you!
Future optimisation plans: Please click here to view the 1.0.14 announcement.

Fixed several Chinese typos.
Fixed an issue where some French and German text was displayed in English.
Fixed an inconsistency between the Japanese Internal Communication text and Interview Requirements.
Breakdown effects: If you see red and blue flashing effects on screen, this is not a bug. This effect is caused by the protagonist’s Breakdown value being too high. Please purchase items that reduce Breakdown value from the apartment shop to remove the effect.
Regarding interview requirements where ID type does not match: On certain days, the company only recruits interviewees who hold a Permanent Residence Permit. If an interviewee only holds a “Residence Permit”, you can generate a thank letter by selecting the “Residence Permit” text on their document and the corresponding recruitment requirement.
If Mac users see "UI_XXX" displayed on the game's main screen, please click the globe icon in the lower left corner to switch languages and restore normal text.
If certain achievements do not unlock, this may be caused by network issues or the game version not being up to date.
Confirm that your game is updated to the latest version: Please check whether the version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu matches the version number in the latest announcement. If it does not, right-click the game in your Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → click “Verify integrity of game files”, then wait for the repair to complete and restart the game.
Confirm Steam is online: Click the top-left corner of Steam and make sure it is not in “Offline Mode”. You need to be logged in and connected to the internet.
Launch the game from your Steam Library: Please do not launch the game directly from a desktop shortcut or the taskbar. You must click the “Play” button from your Steam Library, otherwise the Steam interface may be bypassed and achievements may not be recorded.
Run Steam as administrator: Fully exit Steam by right-clicking the tray icon in the bottom-right corner and choosing Exit. Then right-click the Steam icon and select “Run as administrator” before launching the game again.
Thank you very much for all your feedback and suggestions regarding New Game Plus experience, save interactions, tutorial explanations, and other areas.
New features require more time for testing and adjustment, and we are currently prioritising fixes for bugs that affect the gameplay experience. Once the game version has stabilised, we will work through the suggestions we have recorded and optimise the game to improve the overall experience.
The following optimisations are currently planned:
Customisable hotkeys and more functional shortcuts
Scanner tutorial improvements
CG Gallery interface improvements
New Game Plus experience improvements and assistive tools
If you have any thoughts or suggestions, please feel free to share them with us through the community or the feedback form in the bottom-right corner of the game. Thank you!
Thank you all so much for your incredible support since launch! We've received many requests for additional language support, and it truly means a lot to us.
We want as many players as possible to enjoy the game. That said, we need to carefully consider the costs and testing involved in adding new languages to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. After discussions with our publisher, we're happy to announce that we'll be adding official localization for the following languages:Spanish
Portuguese
Russian
If Mac users see "UI_XXX" displayed on the game's main screen, please click the globe icon in the lower left corner to switch languages and restore normal text.

Adjust the dialogue text for the character's tasks on the 24th day, clearly stating that scanning H11 is necessary to complete the task.
Because the save file overwrite function could cause problems, which involves the underlying logic of the save system and is inconvenient to make major adjustments, the save file overwrite function has been disabled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you need to adjust your save file, you can use deletion or manual saving.
How to manually save: In the apartment, click on the apartment panel, scroll to the far right, and click "Save." The page will open, allowing you to manually save.
Fixed an issue where dragging files to the trash can in the A02 interface might not work.
Fixed an issue where the spacing between the English tutorial bubble characters was 0.
If you encounter any bugs while playing, you can submit feedback by filling out a bug questionnaire or clicking the button in the lower right corner of the game's start menu.
We have received some feedback regarding incorrect interview characters that were correctly identified by the system. To quickly pinpoint the problem, please specify the day of the interview or provide the character's social ID when submitting feedback. Thank you!

Made back our entire development costs!
Seen more than 1,500 people playing the game all at once!
Received nearly 200 reviews, with a Very Positive rating!
We're so grateful to each and every one of you who has played the game, and we're so glad you're enjoying it. If there's anyone who has played and hasn't left a Steam review yet, please consider doing so -- it's hard to describe how much it helps us out!! So what's next? We have future plans for the game, but for now we can tell you the following:
We've already updated the game with a huge series of tweaks and bug fixes, including adding 2K resolution, fixing an issue around saving issues, and fixing some interactive issues. We will continue to fix up anything and everything that comes in
We're thinking about what languages to add next. Spanish and Russian have been requested a lot. Are there any other languages you would like to see?
We're thinking about Endless Mode, as quite a few people have said they'd love to play that. Endless Mode will take a little longer to sort out, but we will deliver news when we have it!
Otherwise, THANK YOU again for your support, it's been a crazy 24 hours
Love from everyone at IceLemonTea Studio and No More Robots xoxo

We are going to have a great company launch - we'll see you for the big opening on Friday!
Dear interviewers,
We are delighted to share that Thank You for Your Application has now surpassed 100,000 wishlists!
This number still feels unbelievable to us. When development began in 2024, we never imagined we would make it this far. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Thank You for Your Application along the way. Your support truly means the world to us.
With the day of joining Aeropolis Lab fast approaching, we would like to take this opportunity to share some information about the game and answer a few questions.
Thank You for Your Application will officially launch on 19 June at 8:00 AM (EDT) on Steam.
The game will launch with a 15% discount, bringing the price down to $16.99 USD. The launch discount will last for two weeks.
We look forward to welcoming all interviewers on board.
Alongside the many valuable pieces of feedback and suggestions we have received, we have also had a number of questions about the game. Today, we would like to answer some of them here.
Q: How long is the full version? Will there be different endings? Will the gameplay stay the same as the demo later on?
A: A first playthrough will take around 10–12 hours. There are six main endings in total.
Building on the demo, the gameplay will become more complex, with more rules, documents, tasks and usable tools. However, the overall gameplay structure will not change significantly.
Q: After the game is complete, will there be DLC or an endless mode?
A: Currently we don't have one. We are planning to add an endless mode to the base game in the future. There are currently no plans for DLC.
Q: Could we perhaps get an art book?
A: If people are interested, perhaps! We have a lot of early concept material and unused drafts.
Q: Will controller support be added? I would like to play with a controller.
A: Most controller interactions are supported. The game can also be played on Steam Deck, although some text may appear very small in certain languages.
Q: Will there be more story and interactions for A01, or more stories about other characters, the protagonist and everyone’s endings?
A: A01 was originally designed as a tutorial character, so they do not appear very often in the main storyline. What we can reveal is that A01 will appear as an important character in a mysterious scene.
The game’s story is now largely finalised, but if we feel that additional content is needed later on, we may add more story content for certain key characters.
Q: Will there be a special story with A01? A romantic one, perhaps?
A: Why would anyone want a romantic storyline with their boss?!
Q: What is the official stance on fan works?
A: We would be very happy to see fan creations. Fan works are more than welcome, as long as they are not intended for large-scale commercial profit.
Q: What happened to the writer to make them write something this painfully realistic...?
A: When we first started making the game, we were fresh graduates looking for jobs ourselves. For beginner creators, it is usually easier to start with the experiences closest to home.

To celebrate, a limited-time forum event is running right now: the Aeropolis Forum Recruitment Programme.

Q. How will my title appear in the game?
A. Selected titles will appear as forum usernames at random, typically as the replying user name under a thread.
Q. Can I choose what my title replies to?

Inspired by Papers, Please, Thank you for your application introduces new dialogue features based on resume-checking mechanics to enhance the interview process.
We’re working on a tool system that allows interviewers to ask follow-up questions based on specific resume items. Here is the interactive demo of a question tool:
Of course, judging criteria varies per job—for example, some prioritize age, others experience. Interviewers must make thoughtful decisions based on context.
We received a lot of valuable UI feedback both at the events and through the survey. We're currently working on improving the overall interaction and layout—for example, the "Call Candidate" action has been updated to a clickable button. This update includes a few of those UI improvements.
As we've now entered full development of the official release, updates to the Demo version may be less frequent due to limited resources. That said, feel free to continue submitting feedback through the survey—we’ll roll out fixes in the next major Demo update.
Thank you so much for trying out the game both online and in person. We were really happy to meet and talk with you at the events. Here are a few photos from the shows:

Please note: due to the large scope of this update, older save files may encounter compatibility issues. We recommend verifying the integrity of your game files after updating and creating a new save to continue playing. Here’s an overview of the latest update:
Hiring and rejecting are no longer done by simply clicking a button — instead, you now make your decision by dragging the resume into the corresponding folder. Once the resume is in the folder, you need to click the folder to confirm.
Before confirming, you can still retrieve the resume from the folder, preventing irreversible mistakes such as forgetting a thank letter or making a wrong judgment.
To accommodate different players' reading habits, a new option to choose the date format has been added. You can now adjust how dates are displayed by going to "Settings" on the main menu.
Additionally, we received various feedback about game difficulty. To meet different players' needs, we’ve introduced a new subsidy mode. In this mode, interviewers receive an extra 30p daily allowance, making it ideal for players who want to focus on story exploration. By selecting this mode at the start of the game, you can ease bills and breakdown value pressures and enjoy the story more freely.
Pharos Apartments has introduced a new batch of A02 concierge robots, with one assigned to each unit. These robots will serve as residents' assistants, handling cleaning, package delivery and reception, data monitoring, and more.
Interviewers can talk to the apartment concierge to get information about their personal status. A02 will play an important role in your future life in Aeropolis — stay tuned!
Thank you to everyone who shared feedback and suggestions with us through surveys and our community. We will continue to share our development plans with you via development logs. For interviewers who couldn’t make it to BitSummit, don’t worry — we greatly value opportunities to connect in person, and we’ll announce more offline events in the future.
Feel free to try the demo anytime! If you'd like to discuss or share feedback on this update, join our official Discord channel to connect with us directly!
