Hey all! This patch is mostly to remove the Christmas event from the game, but I've also made some minor changes/fixes + added a new season upgrade! New stuff - Added the seedling upgrade to the season shop. This upgrade costs 1 seed and will give you a +1% bonus to dibble production. It's intended for use by folks that have bought all seasonal upgrades but still want to spend their seeds, so with that in mind, there is no limit on how many times this upgrade can be purchased. (Thank you for the suggestion LightBlack!) Changes - The Christmas cosmetics can no longer be claimed. I hope those that were able to claim them have enjoyed bringing a festive vibe to their barn! - Fixed some super minor issues - Minor QoL changes (mostly to make the text when hovering over some things more obvious as to what they are) I'd like to give a shout out to those that have been taking the time to submit bugs and feedback. This quick patch should fix the issue that allowed new seasons to be started when they could not be afforded. (Thank you for reporting this!)

Hey all! This is just a small update to address some bugs and feedback. New stuff - Added the farmhand upgrade - This little guy will patrol your barn and automatically collect any wheat that grows (I added this after getting feedback that a fair amount of people felt like they were missing out on wheat rewards when leaving the game running for a while) -- He can be toggled off in the settings if you want to rock an animals-only aesthetic. (Don't worry, he will still collect wheat for you!) Changes - Fixed an issue where the cost of starting each new season was not calculating correctly (thank you LightBlack!) - Changed some stats that were misleading (e.g. new seasons started now shows your current season, rather than how many you've purchased) - Fixed an issue where, after starting a new season, the cost of the 'Reduce sleep chance' upgrade was a lot higher than intended for the cow - Made some changes to how certain systems work behind the scenes, to make adding to them easier in future - Other misc minor QoL changes That's everything for now! I'm not too sure yet what the next content update is going to be but I'm open to suggestions around what could be cool to add (no wrong answers!). Things are getting festive at the barn! From now until January 1st, 2026 (18:00 GMT), you can celebrate Christmas in Taskbarn with some early presents! Simply open your barn during the event and you’ll automatically receive 10 FREE festive skins: - A unique festive skin for every animal - A festive barn makeover (2 variants) - A matching fence skin These limited-time cosmetics will be yours to keep forever once claimed, but won't return after the event ends, so don’t miss out! The Halloween event is over! The limited Halloween skins can no longer be claimed. Don't worry, you will keep them if you already own them :) New stuff Added 5 new animal skins: -- Chicken - Little Rascal (a reference to one of my favourite game characters) -- Chicken - Chickies (if you couldn't pick between the chicken or the chick, then this one is for you!) -- Cow - Alien Cow -- Pig - Piggies (same as chickies, except 2 chonkers) -- Horse - Neon Horse Changes - Fixed some minor bugs that were present in the release build - Removed the 'Rasing the bar(n)' achievement as it was too difficult compared to all other achievements and made it super long-winded to get 100% of achievements - Significantly lowered the price of a lot of skins, especially the horses (even I didn't buy them before the price change) - Made some QoL changes That's all! Fixed some very minor issues with some barn upgrades. Also increased the maximum cap on the 'Seasoned Fortune' season upgrades to 200M instead of 100M.
