Taskbar of Ragnalis is scheduled to be released today.

However, we have decided to indefinitely postpone the Steam Community Market support that was previously planned for v1.2.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to this feature.

The reason for this decision is that we cannot rule out the possibility that the planned system could conflict with Japanese law.

Allowing randomly obtained items to be bought and sold on a marketplace presents significant legal concerns. With this in mind, we had planned to limit market eligibility in Ragnalis to items that were not obtained through random drops.

However, even with these restrictions, we concluded that we could not provide sufficient assurance that the system would comply with all applicable laws and consumer protection regulations, including Japan’s Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations.

We will first consult with legal experts and, where appropriate, the relevant authorities. We will then consider possible alternatives, such as making the market feature available only in certain countries or regions.

We sincerely apologize for making this announcement immediately before release.

Three Days Until Launch

Only three days remain until the free launch of Task Bar of Ragnalis. There are no difficult action controls to master. The core loop is simple: watch, loot, and build. Keep an eye on the small battlefield along your taskbar, then open the panels from time to time to decide how your party grows.

1. Watch — Let Your Heroes Handle the Battle

Choose a map and stage, and the battle runs automatically. Your heroes fight along the taskbar and earn experience, gold, and equipment. You do not need to control every moment, so you can keep working or watching videos and check the battle whenever you like.

2. Loot — Check What the Battle Brought Back

Open the inventory to review the equipment collected in battle. Even matching item types can have different stats and attached skills. Compare each drop with your current equipment, then decide whether to equip it or keep it as synthesis material.

3. Build — Combine Equipment, Synthesis, and Skills

- Update eight equipment slots - Combine nine matching items to create the next tier - Choose class skills and party skills - Adjust the frontline and backline of a party with up to three heroes The rarest item is not always the best item for your build. Mix stats, randomized equipment skills, and each class's unique mechanic to find the setup that works for you.

Our Post-Launch Roadmap Is Here

Task Bar of Ragnalis is scheduled to launch as a free-to-play title on July 31, 2026. The full release is not the finish line. After launch, we plan to keep expanding the world of Ragnalis with new ways to play, targeting roughly one feature update per week.

Upcoming Updates

🚀 July 31 — v1.0 Full Release

The full version arrives with automatic battles on your taskbar, equipment collection and synthesis, class skills, and parties of up to three heroes.

🍻 Around August 7 — v1.1 “Cooking Buffs”

Collect ingredients from enemies, prepare dishes at the tavern, and grant a variety of buffs to your party. Choosing meals to suit your current challenge or farming route will add a new layer to build planning.

⚖️ Around August 14 — v1.2 “Steam Community Market Support”

We plan to introduce features that connect eligible equipment to the Steam Community Market. Eligible items and functions may be enabled in stages while we verify safety and stability.

🃏 Around August 21 — v1.3 “Arcana Cards”

Arcana Cards are planned to add new choices to character growth and build creation. We will share more about how the cards work and how to obtain them as the update approaches.

Task Bar of Ragnalis will launch free on Steam on July 31, 2026. This is an idle auto-battler RPG that lives on your desktop taskbar. While you work, browse, or watch videos, your heroes continue fighting, collecting gear, and growing stronger.
