Hi everyone,
It was a wild weak. Thanks to everyone who joined us since launch! <3
You might have seen that we had some issues on launch regarding cloud saves, infinite money glitches etc. These should now be fixed, sorry that these slipped us.
We know we also didn't communicate the demo save wipe enough and we should've found a way to maintain the save files. Again, sorry. I will do better in the future <3
For everyone who sticked with us and gave incredible feedback on launch, we have a small reward for you:
The "Root & Leaf" skin set!
As a small thank you and apology for the troubles, everyone who plays the game in the next two weeks will be granted these exclusive skins! So update your game and grab them <3
Additional patch notes:
Fixed statistics showing an initial value of 0
Fixed controller menu navigation bug
Fixed periodic lag that occurred every few seconds
Fixed lag on the "Max Upgrade" button
Fixed click area of bookmark buttons
Fixed screenshot bug during multiplayer
Updated community localizations (thanks to everyone helping out here, you are amazing!)
Added tooltips for Autostart, Admin Mode, and translation

Big week. Tap Tap Loot is out now on Steam and we want to celebrate it with the crew behind The Farmer Was Replaced
I tested around a bit with something called "IPC" short for "inter process communication". That allows two programs to "talk" to each other.
And i really liked the game "The Farmer Was Replaced" and decided to reach out to them if we can create a small collab :D
was born. :D
Now, you can automate both Tap Tap Loot and Bongo Cat. While your drone farms wheat, your adventurer fights monsters and your bongo cat taps along. You only need to use their new tap() function: while True: tap()
Update The Farmer Was Replaced, grab both games, and go :D
Fixed memory leak issues
Improved overall performance
Fixed abilities incorrectly attacking non-enemy targets
Updated Book Tab icons
Fixed cloud save support
Fixed an issue where inventory items would disappear
Fixed game position not saving correctly
Fixed taskbar snapping issue
Fixed collection visibility bug
Fixed various enemy-related issues
Fixed skin rarity sorting
Localization updates
Please note: Demo progress will be deleted. This is intentional and necessary for the game to function properly.
Ahhhhhhhh, it's exciting!! It's time!!
Thanks everyone for your ongoing support through the demo! As a small reward you will get an exclusive skin: The Target Dummy
We did a bundle with "The Farmer was Replaced", it's a cute programming game that i like. And you can now also automate your Bongo Cat and Tap Tap Loot hero!!
Check it out!
If the release goes well this is just the beginning of a new adventure!
<3 much love to everyone!
~Marcel
It's finally time, we are launching next week on April 13th 1pm CEST.
Thanks to all of you who tested the demo in and out, shared their builds and created lobbies. <3
It was a blast to see all of you progressing through the demo!
We are still polishing the last few edges based on all your feedback and we can't wait for you to get your hands on it!
As you might know, this game isn't developed by me (Marcel here, hi) but by the amazing team of Turtle Knight Games. You might have seen Eduard answering your comments on our Discord or in the forum. I try to support them in everything possible, to create something amazing for our community.
The full game will contain additional content from what you've seen in the demo and if the launch goes well, it doesn't stop there, we have some amazing content planned and if the game is profitable we want to support it further <3
We know this is a tough topic, but we need to eat :D we decided to go with a bit of a higher base price to allow us to discount the title further in the future.
That's why we are launching with a 30% discount!
The base price (without the discount) will be this for the following currencies (i tried to adapt the regional pricing as much as possible):
6.99$
6.99€
5.99£
26 Yuan
150 NTD
850 Yen
275 RUB
And almost all other currencies are regional priced, so no worries <3
As an additional note, your progress from the demo WON'T carry over to the full game, but some exclusive cosmetics will wait for everyone who enjoyed the demo!
We will also remove the demo in the coming days (closer to the full release) to test and prepare everything.
~Marcel
Thanks to all the people that already gave us amazing feedback over the last few weeks in the playtest. It's really nice to see that you like it, share your builds and also be honest about stuff that you don't like. <3
Your progress will carry over from the playtest, so no worries!
The demo will be continued to be updated with all the feedback that we get and will be live until we launch the full game (your progress WON'T carry over, but we are looking into giving rewards to player who played the demo).
With this update we are also adding 12 new skills to increase the drop chance and also give you a bit more build varieties.
Scalings should also be fixed now!
Another FYI: Right now in multiplayer only skills help your friends. We are also looking into additional interactions, so feel free to share your ideas <3
Hi everyone, Marcel here
Tap Tap Loot is part of the Steam Typing Fest 🥳🥳
Thanks to all the people that already gave us amazing feedback over the last few weeks. It's really nice to see that you like it, share your builds and also be honest about stuff that you don't like.
With this update we will also launch a Bongo Cat integration. You may ask yourself what does that mean?
If you run Bongo Cat and Tap Tap Loot at the same time you will get additional buffs from a few items in Bongo Cat. Currently all the new Mechas, the Tap Tap Helmet and Tap Tap Tabby will give you additional buffs to your character.
I will add more items in the future that will buff you and will also add additional infos in Bongo Cat what items buff what stat.
This is a bit of an experiment, let me know if you like that and want to see more :D <3
Balance Changes:
Bongo Cat: Tap Tap Loot items in Bongo Cat now grant buffs to the character.
Progression Balancing: Adjusted overall progression curve for smoother pacing.
Upgrade Costs: Rebalanced to better match item strength and player progression.
Sell Prices: Weapon sell values now scale more appropriately with level and rarity.
New Content
New Items: Added new equipment types, including spell-power melee weapons.
New Skins: Additional cosmetic options available.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue with the save UI and incorrect game position loading.
Various minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
