It’s been an incredible journey building this game, and we can’t wait for you to step into the nightmare we’ve crafted. Prepare yourself for a tense atmosphere, deep psychological horror, and an experience that will stay with you long after you close the game.

We are thrilled to share a massive milestone in our development journey! If you’ve been wondering what’s waiting for you in the game, we finally have an answer: we have officially finished creating over 40 unique anomalies!

Every single one has been carefully crafted to test your observation skills, mess with your head, and keep you on the edge of your seat. You won't just be looking for things out of place. You will be experiencing a full sensory challenge.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be facing:

• 👁️ Visual Anomalies: Don't trust your eyes. Familiar environments will subtly shift, warp, and change when you least expect it. Did that object just move?

• 🎧 Audio Anomalies: Keep your ears open. From unsettling sounds that do not belong to terrifying noises creeping up behind you, our audio anomalies will make you question what you actually heard.

• 👹 Monster Anomalies: Not everything is just a trick of the mind. Some anomalies are very real, very physical, and very dangerous. You’ll need to react fast when these entities decide to make an appearance.

We are incredibly proud of how these turned out, and we can’t wait to see your reactions as you try to spot them all and survive. Right now, the team is polishing the trigger mechanics to ensure every single encounter feels perfectly timed and terrifying.

Hey everyone!

We’ve got a quick but exciting update for you today regarding the game's visual direction. We've just rolled out our brand new key art!

If you’ve been following our progress, you might remember that our original key art featured the gnome. While we loved him, after some careful thought and testing, we realized we needed a centerpiece that hits a little harder. We wanted to evoke stronger emotions and really lean into the unsettling vibe we're building.

So, we made a switch. Goodbye, gnome. Hello, terrifying Granny.

We think she perfectly captures the creepy atmosphere of the game, and we hope she haunts your nightmares just a little bit.

We are thrilled to share a major update regarding the full version of Switch the Darkness. Our goal has always been to bring this psychological horror experience to as many people as possible, regardless of where they live.

Today, we can officially confirm that the full game will feature complete interface and subtitle support for 8 languages:

• English

• Russian

• French

• German

• Spanish - Spain

• Japanese

• Portuguese - Brazil

• Traditional Chinese

Adding these languages is a big step for us as an indie team, and we are working hard to ensure the translation captures the tense and eerie atmosphere of the game perfectly.
