Large Stormtrooper stacks have been running rampant in both early and late game phases in many games. We are introducing a bunch of changes that will let the Stormtrooper keep its identity as an offensive powerhouse with high attack but we’re reducing its defensive capabilities. We are also making it more expensive to build Stormtroopers. This adds more risk to building them, which emphasizes their identity as a glass canon. We are also bringing a few buffs to Maeve and Allenby, as they have fallen a bit out of the meta. Stormtroopers Barracks 2 ● Day of Availability 2 → 3 Production Costs ● Iron and Fish unchanged ● Oil 0 → 1500 ● Silver 15000 → 12500 Combat ● HP: 60 → 40 ● Building damage: 4 → 1 ● Land Defense: 8.3 → 6.3 ● Air Defense: 1.3 → 1 ● Naval Defense: 1 → 0.8 We will keep monitoring the Stormtroopers performance in games, to make sure that they can find a healthy place in the meta. The Stormtrooper Operation will launch on March 21st. Make sure you’re ready as it will be difficult to complete. Viscount Allenby Allenby has seen better days, so we are giving his Cavalry forces more oomph. Cavalry attack buff From 8% - 30% to 10% - 40% Fiona “Maeve” Porter Maeve has been underperforming a bit recently. We are making her unit deployment more affordable and increasing her mobility to give her back some of her power. Infantry Spawn From 2-8 to 2-9 (1 more infantry at levels 11, 13, 14 and 15) Infantry Sped buff From 10% to 50% to 25% to 60% Infantry deploy costs Reduced by 5% to 10% Alvin C. York Alvin C. York is a very strong hero in the early game. We are delaying his arrival by a day to allow other early game heroes to have their time in the spotlight. Day of Availability From day 3 to day 4

We also want to tell you about some future plans for the stormtroopers. Stormtrooper The Stormtrooper is a powerful unit that breaks through fortresses and other units with a high attack stat. While they are fulfilling their role, they are currently too dominant. After listening to a lot of your feedback we have landed on a few changes that should place the stormtroopers more in line with other units strength wise. When the Stormtroopers initially released we talked about making them free to unlock down the road. While more methods to get them out to many players are still in the oven, there will be an operation soon where you’ll be able to unlock the stormtroopers for free for the first time. It will not be a walk in the park though so be ready to fight for it. You can expect more on this and the balance changes soon. Updated Morale Trend Display The Morale Trend Display can be a bit misleading. The morale trend now includes a number that indicates how much morale will be gained/lost on day change. Gold distribution fixes We changed the way gold is distributed after a ranked match. Rewards were previously given based on the victory points of each player/coalition. In some cases this would lead to solo players placing first and receiving the reward for 2nd place. Gold reward distribution is now based on the final rank on the leader board and not the victory points, resolving this issue.

Our engineers have corrected erratic plane behavior—aircraft will now properly pursue moving targets instead of jumping through the sky. Heroes like Maeve and Johan no longer split from their armies during deployment on mobile, and the Hitpoint Boost panel now correctly displays the Hero’s own icon in mixed stacks.
