Depending on the map, 2–4 players can play together.
Put on a variety of costumes and play with your friends!
Multiplayer progress is saved only to the host's save file.
We adjusted the quantity of each product on the existing Supermarket map so that players can arrange the products symmetrically on the shelves.
As a result, the total number of items has increased to 4,669.
These changes apply to new players. Existing players can apply them by resetting the map.
Improved the tutorial.
Slightly adjusted the amount gained from movement speed upgrades.
Fixed some bugs.
Q. When will Super Super Market be updated?
A. We are aiming to release the update next week. However, we also need to consider multiplayer feedback and stability, so please understand that the schedule may be delayed slightly.
Q. I want to play Super Super Market by myself.
A. Of course, you can play it solo! The exact item count has not been finalized because the map is still in development, but it will contain at least 9,999 items. Since there will be so many items, we also recommend playing with friends!
Q. The items on the Supermarket map aren't arranged symmetrically.
A. In fact, many players have shared this feedback since before launch. We wanted to improve it quickly, but we also didn't want to disrupt the progress of existing players, so we gave it a great deal of thought.
We decided that the multiplayer update was the best time to apply this change, so we improved it at the same time. Why not reorganize the existing map with your friends in multiplayer?
We sincerely thank everyone who has been waiting for the multiplayer update.
Our original goal was to update multiplayer in August and introduce a new map in September. Fortunately, multiplayer development progressed faster than expected, allowing us to release it a little early. We hope this update is a small token of appreciation for everyone who has waited so patiently.
The next update is the long-awaited Super Super Market. Multiplayer is still in beta, so there are a few remaining areas we need to address for stability, but we're enjoying development and will do our best to release it next week.
Thank you sincerely for playing and supporting our game. Have a wonderful day!
Enhanced Save and Recovery Logic
Improved the overall save and recovery logic.
You can now view a list of previous backups in the menu and select the one you want.
Improved some translations and carried out optimization work.
Hello!
This update focuses on strengthening the overall save and recovery logic.
Previously, you could only open the backup folder or manage a single backup. You can now view multiple backups in a list from the menu and select the one you want more easily.
To provide a more stable experience, we tested over 40 different scenarios. However, since it is realistically impossible to cover every situation that could arise, we understand that the system may not yet be perfect. We will continue improving its stability. If you encounter any inconvenience or problems, please let us know anytime through the comments or by email.
As you are well aware, we know that you are looking forward to new achievements and maps more than these behind-the-scenes changes. We also want to bring you new content as soon as possible, but this groundwork is essential for expanding the game smoothly in the future—especially for preparing multiplayer. We would greatly appreciate your patience and understanding for just a little longer.
Have a great day!
Fixed textures for some products (yes, it's tuna hummus)
Improved mouse X-axis and Y-axis inversion so the settings are also supported on gamepads
Added borderless windowed mode
Bug fixes and optimizations
Have a great day today, too!
We have fixed an issue introduced after the 1.1.0 update where some save data could conflict with cloud saves.
This was a major update that added a new map and included many internal structural changes. During that process, cloud save conflicts could occur in certain situations. Hotfix 1.1.1 addresses this issue.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who experienced inconvenience. We will keep working to provide more stable updates.
We also plan to provide a new save file loading method soon that can help prevent similar situations and create backups if they occur. We are also working on adding achievements, which many players have requested.
Thank you, as always, for your feedback. Have a great day.
New map:
Lobby screen added
Hello, everyone.
We're here to share the new map update many of you have been waiting for!
This new map was created around the concept of a convenience store in a dream. For players who found the 4668-item cleanup a bit overwhelming, or who want a lighter organizing session, this map contains 2628 items to organize. Don't worry. A Super Super Supermarket map for players who want even more organizing is also in development.
Here's a little more about the convenience store map.
Choose from several skies, including sunset, morning sky, and space, then organize the convenience store beneath them. (The Earth map is my personal favorite.)
To match the Japanese convenience store concept, dozens of new objects have been added, including snacks, canned beer, and magazines.
During play, three stickers will appear periodically. Pick the one you need most for the situation and put it to use.
We hope you enjoy playing, and we'd love to hear your feedback. Thank you as always for being with us. See you in the next update!
Added Arabic
Improved the E and Q keys to perform the same role as the gamepad
Hello, everyone.
Today, we would like to talk about the direction of our upcoming content.
First, thank you sincerely to everyone who sent us fun ideas and valuable feedback.
After carefully considering your feedback, we have decided that our next major goal will be multiplayer.
As many of you know, this game was originally built around single-player. Because of that, implementing multiplayer means we need to redesign and revise a significant part of the game's structure from the ground up. It will not be an easy task, but when we imagine all of you enjoying the game together, we believe it is absolutely worth the challenge.
However, because this work will take quite some time, we will need plenty of your feedback and a little patience throughout the process. We are currently aiming for the first multiplayer beta test sometime between August and September, and our goal is to provide a stable multiplayer experience within this year. Multiplayer is currently planned with 2-4 players in mind first, but this has not been finalized.
Of course, multiplayer is not the only thing we are preparing.
We have also received many requests for new maps. However, new maps take quite a bit of time because many parts, including modeling work, have to be created from scratch. So first, we would like to provide additional content a little faster in the form of a new mode.
In particular, for those of you who enjoy symmetrical play, we are preparing a small experimental new mode. We are aiming to show it as soon as possible, but since we are currently working on both multiplayer and the new mode at the same time, the schedule may slip a little. We would appreciate your understanding.
All updates mentioned above are planned to be provided for free.
The game still has many shortcomings, but we are truly grateful that so many of you are enjoying it. We hope these updates can be a small way to repay the love you have shown us.
Have a great day, and we will be back as soon as possible with the new mode.
Hello, this is the 1.0.8 update!
Changed the shape of the wine drawer to make it more intuitive
Added the ability to load backup files from the settings screen
Fixed an issue where files would occasionally be deleted
Added a VSync option
We are receiving a lot of helpful feedback from many of you. Thank you so much. We have also been getting many questions about the next update.
We are currently preparing new content, but we are still checking when and how much of it can be implemented, so it is difficult to share details right now. Thank you for your understanding. We promise to share more as soon as we can!
We also sometimes receive emails asking whether it is okay to stream the game. Of course it is! You are free to introduce the game on broadcasts, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, or any other platform. You may earn revenue from it with no problem at all. We would appreciate it if you include a link to the game, but that is completely optional.
We will keep doing our best to return with more good news. Thank you for playing the game, and feedback is always welcome.
Have a great day!
Fixed a bug where the Home Decor / Decorations sign name was displayed incorrectly.
Fixed running so it works properly.
Improved the Polish font.
Fixed a bug where checkbox options could not be selected with a gamepad.
Added a product preview feature - it is enabled by default and can be turned on or off in Options. When this feature is enabled, you can preview a product name by placing the cursor over an item.
Added Italian. Ciao!
Hello everyone. We are sharing the details of the 1.0.7 update. Thanks to your feedback, the game keeps improving. Thank you once again!
Along with this update, we would also like to share some information about the in-game backup feature.
Backup feature!
The game automatically creates a backup save every 15 minutes. These backups are saved here: C:/Users/{user}/AppData/LocalLow/BunnyHopHome/Supermarket Chaos/Backup. (The exact location may differ depending on your computer settings.) This is a measure to protect up to 5 hours of your progress if a save is deleted by mistake or due to an unexpected bug. I made this because, while developing, I kept pressing Delete All instead of the close button.
There is a Readme file inside this folder, so if you accidentally delete your save file, you can recover it from there. However, this feature directly handles save files, so unexpected issues may occur. For that reason, we recommend using the game's normal save system and Steam Cloud saves first, and treating this feature as a secondary option.
We are still testing this feature for stability, and once it is more stable, we plan to add an easier way to access it from the Settings screen.
Have a great day. Good feedback and feature suggestions are always welcome!
Text on signs and some product names has been improved.
Sign text now appears correctly for each language.
Mouse X-axis and Y-axis invert options have been added.
Hello! This is our second greeting today.
This update is a patch to fix an issue many of you reported, where sign text and product names did not match properly. Some translations and product names were applied in ways that did not fit the context. Because English is not our native language, we were not able to fully recognize this on our own, but thanks to your feedback, we became aware of the issue. We believe this is an important part of immersion in the supermarket, so we fixed it quickly, and we will continue improving it based on your feedback.
We have also added the requested Mouse X-axis and Y-axis invert options. There is currently an issue where these options cannot be selected with a gamepad, and we are checking it. For now, please use the mouse to change the setting. If there are any other settings you would like to see, please let us know anytime.
After finishing the launch we had been preparing for so long, it feels like time is passing really quickly. Even so, we are even more grateful that we can show you the game we prepared.
We will keep working to repay your support with a better game, so please continue sharing your feedback with us. Have a great day.
* Fixed a bug where, in some countries, players moved at light speed or the skill window did not appear. * Fixed issues with wide resolutions. Hello. We recently fixed a serious issue that had a major impact on gameplay. Because this caused significant inconvenience and harm to some players, we wanted to explain what happened in a little more detail. The cause of the issue was that we did not properly handle the fact that decimal points are written and read differently in some countries, such as Germany, Turkey, and Russia. As a result, values like 3.5 were incorrectly read as 35, causing some players to become Superman while others were unable to purchase skills. Before release, we thought we had found and fixed as many bugs as possible, but our understanding and preparation were lacking when it came to region-specific number formats. We sincerely apologize once again to everyone who was unable to play the game properly because of this. We also want to thank everyone who waited for the fix and reported the issue. For those who have already refunded the game, thank you for playing, and we hope to see you again someday. Now it is time for us to continue improving the game. If you are still experiencing a similar issue, or if you notice any other strange behavior, please leave a comment. We will check it and fix it as quickly as we can. We will keep doing our best to make a better game. Have a good day.
Hello, everyone. Supermarket Chaos has finally officially launched.
Thank you sincerely to everyone who has waited for the game and supported us for so long. We hope it is a game that lives up to your expectations.
While playing, if you find any bugs, have feedback, or have ideas for updates you would like to see in the future, please feel free to leave them through our email or here. We will do our best to keep making the game better.
Thank you once again for waiting. Please enjoy Supermarket Chaos!
Hello, everyone!
We are very happy to finally share some good news with you. Supermarket Chaos will officially launch on Steam on June 30!
Gamepad support and cloud saves are now complete, and we are currently working on the final release tasks, including achievements and optimization.
Thanks to all of your interest, we have also reached 8,074 wishlists! We are sincerely grateful to everyone who is waiting for our game.
Since this is our first release, we are nervous and worried that we might miss something, so we are continuing to search for bugs throughout the game. We will keep doing our best until the very end so you can enjoy it on launch day.
Once again, thank you for all your interest and support. Have a great day!
Hello, everyone!
We have some new updates to share. We recently finished work on Xbox controller and PlayStation controller support. We are currently preparing for Steam review, and we are really happy to be able to share this news with you.
Also, we have passed 5,744 wishlists! Wow!
It feels both surreal and incredibly moving to think that the number on our monitor represents real players who are waiting for our game. We will keep working hard to repay your interest with a good game.
The main game is now mostly complete, and we are currently working on the final release preparations, including achievements, cloud saves, and optimization. We want to announce a confirmed release date as soon as possible, but since this is our first time releasing on Steam, there are still a number of things we need to check and adjust.
For now, we plan to announce the release date as soon as the Steam review is complete. Once the approval is confirmed, we will share it with you right away.
Once again, thank you sincerely for your interest and support. We will do our best to return with even better news. Thank you!
Hello, and thank you for joining us for our first update!
Something truly amazing happened to us. When I turned on my computer and saw the wishlists and support you had sent our way, I just stared at the screen for a while.
To live up to your expectations, we are planning to drink even more coffee and green tea as we pick up the pace.
We are currently working on core parts of the game, including story and art improvements, while also preparing quality-of-life and platform features such as cloud saves, controller support, more language support, and achievements.
We are working hard toward a release in June. We do not want to keep you waiting for long, so we will continue sharing additional progress updates.
Once again, thank you sincerely for all the interest and love you have shown our game. Your feedback and comments are always welcome!
