All three episodes of “Revol. War” are now available to play as part of the free update released on Tuesday, April 21.

This scenario serves as a prequel to the main story, offering new insights before the events of the campaign.

※It becomes playable after updating to ver. 1.3.0.

※Unlock Condition: Clear CHAPTER 6 “On to a Never-Ending Battle”

■“NOAH Brand’s Battles” – All 3 Episodes (Free)

All three episodes of “NOAH Brand’s Battles” are also included in this free update.

This storyline takes place just before Chapter 7, adding more depth to the unfolding narrative.

※Unlock Condition: Clear CHAPTER 2 “Aliens Adrift”

※Upon completing Expansion Pack Episode 1: “Contact,” the new units and pilots do not join your team.

※Upon completing Expansion Pack Episode 1: “Contact,” pilots who appear for the first time in Area Missions are not being added to the “Character Profiles,” and the units are not being added to the “Robot Encyclopedia.”

Steam® version - Update data ver.1.2.0

-Additional STG Memory​

By clearing Chpater 4, a new STG memory will be unlocked.

​-Special Mission: Battle Rush 2

Following on from the special mission Battle Rush added in version 1.1.0, Battle Rush 2 is added as part of this latest update!

The Battle Rush rules remain the same, but the mission has been powered up to include a total of 20 waves!

You will be required to manage your resources skillfully and make full use of your damage output and mobility.

*Prerequisites: Either reach the Ending, or play “Special Mission: Battle Rush" at least once.

-Stats Caps Unlock

The upper limit of powered up pilot stats is increased by 50, while Pilot Level max is increased from Lv 99 to Lv 150. Now, you can also upgrade a mech's stats or weapons by 5 more levels. Take your favorite mechs to new heights!

Collect Skill Programs and develop the ultimate pilot!

-DLC 2 Area Mission #1 Omen

The free update will also include DLC 2 Area Mission #1 Omen. This Area Mission is playable even by players who have not purchased DLC 2.

*Available to play by applying update Ver. 1.2.0.

*Players must fulfill the below condition in order to play the new mission Omen, included as part of the free update: Clear the first episode of CHAPTER 2, A Mission for Brave Heroes

Regarding the Issues Occurring in ver.1.1.0

In ver.1.1.0, which was distributed on November 18, 2025, we have confirmed the following issues under certain environments.

■Issues Currently Confirmed by Our Team

①In “The Savior of Earth,” which becomes available in CHAPTER07, the game may become unplayable during the event before the battle begins.

②In “Light Cuts Through Darkness,” which becomes available in CHAPTER07, the game may become unplayable during the event sequence.

■Temporary Workarounds

①Within the “Saotome Laboratory” map located midway through the “The Savior of Earth” stage, performing “Skip” when the following line appears will allow the mission to continue by skipping the affected section:

　Sho”What?!”

②During the battle against Yoma Emperor Barao and Animus Beast Midollo in “Light Cuts Through Darkness,” defeating Animus Beast Midollo first will allow the mission to progress.

Steam® version - Update data ver.1.0.4

-Fixed a bug where Echika’s topmost special skill was incorrectly changed to “Commander” after clearing the mission Annina’s Rage (included in the Bonus Mission Pack). If players have already completed the mission, the skill will now be restored to Echika’s original unique skill.

-Improved stability of some operations.

In the Steam version of Super Robot Wars Y, the language setting may default to English when the game starts.

How to Change the Language (Steam Version)

The New trailer for Super Robot Wars Y, the latest in the Super Robot Wars series for console is revealed! It shows some of the simulation part and new battle animations!

Players will get to fight epic battles in SUPER ROBOT WARS Y, slated to release on 28 of August 2025.
