In 1995, SubSpace launched into the world as one of the very first online multiplayer games. Thirty years later, our community is still flying strong — and this season, we’re celebrating in the biggest way yet.
Two of our most active zones are hosting major Draft Leagues, each with a $10,000 prize pool. That’s $20,000 total up for grabs, plus weeks of competition, nostalgia, and new memories to be made.

Live Draft: Sunday, Sept 21 @ 1 PM ET

Visit the official site for additional information
Sign-ups open until Draft Day: Sunday, Sept 21 (right before draft starts)
All official matches: Sundays 2–5 PM ET (flexible scheduling with optional weekday games)
Three divisions for all skill levels — everyone gets drafted
Rich 30th-anniversary season with rivalries, reviews, Hot or Nots, and veteran returns
Prize Pool: $10,000 (community funded)
Hockey Zone is also thriving with three leagues running right now:
RSHL: the flagship league with 25+ years of history. Currently in the final stretch of its playoffs, after a 7-team regular season.
MSHL: the beginner-friendly league, now in Season 10 with 6 teams fighting for 4 playoff spots.
HDBL: a fun, zone-wide draft with 8 teams competing midway through the season — casual, social, and great for meeting new players.
Hockey Zone leagues show how deep SubSpace tradition runs, and they deserve recognition during our 30th anniversary celebration.
September 19th — Final SVS sign-up deadline
September 21st — Live Drafts for both leagues
September 28th — SVS and TWDT Regular Season Opener
Whether you were there in 1995, came back during the Steam launch, or just discovered us — this season is for you. Veterans, rookies, captains, and casual pilots are all welcome. See you in space, pilots!
