New 10 Mission Co-Op Trail: Dance of the Scorpions
Stand side by side with your ally in Dance of the Scorpions, a brand-new 10 mission Co-Op Trail
packed with daring assaults, relentless sieges, and challenges that demand teamwork,
razor-sharp tactic, and flawless coordination. Strike with precision, outmanoeuvre your enemies,
and leave a sting they'll never forget.
Free Map Pack
Expand your battlefield with three brand-new maps in this update’s Free Map Pack!
- Strategize and Scheme in the 600x Balanced Skirmish Map, Lush Crossover. A sprawling oasis divides the battlefield, separating rival lords into their own corners of the map. Will you fortify your territory and make do with local resources, or wage a fierce battle for control of the resource-rich heart of the oasis? Be prepared, as victory may hinge on the choice.
Clash in the 500x 5 Player Skirmish Map, Bypass: Each starting position determines the routes you can attack, defend, and expand through, making each match a fresh strategic challenge. Study the terrain, adapt your tactics, and outmanoeuvre your rivals - or risk being cut off before your Stronghold can rise.
Take free reign over the 600x Freebuild Map, River of Life: Three environments. Three strategies. Claim the defensible highlands, thrive in the fertile marshes, or brave the unforgiving desert. Each offers unique resources, challenges, and a different road to victory.

ADDITIONS
A new Coat of Arms for your viewing use and pleasure my liege! The Fool King CoA highlights the debut game announced by Firefly Studio's new publishing label, WuselFaktory!
Added additional new maps alongside the previously mentioned Map Pack:
Coast Life, 500x Freebuild: Rebuild a once-thriving coastal village left devastated by a catastrophic flood. Restore the ruined shoreline, revive the fishing trade, and bring life back to the settlement’s forgotten shores.
Insular Hope, 800x Freebuild: Survive on a colossal island of shifting sands and scorching winds. Resources are scarce, life is precious, and every expedition across the unforgiving desert is a test of endurance.
Fields and Forges, 800x Freebuild: Choose your path to prosperity across two distinct islands. Settle the fertile eastern lands rich with timber, or claim the western highlands where iron, stone, and hidden riches await.
Added two new Custom Scenarios (found in the Sandbox menu):
Rockhold: Weather the storm of relentless attacks from enemy outposts surrounding your keep. Gather the stone needed to raise mighty defences and withstand wave after wave of raids. If you can hold your ground for a decade, victory is yours.
Island Living: Survive and thrive on an unforgiving coastal desert where every step towards prosperity invites greater danger. Build your settlement from the ground up, strengthen your defences, and withstand increasingly brutal invasions.
- Added insults to Custom Skirmish Lords
- Added a Troop Movement Speed toggle: Selecting this option (in Options/Controls - at the bottom) means that when moving troops, if you single click, troops now move at their individual speeds. When you double click, they move at the slowest speed of the group (basically, the opposite of the default controls).
BUG FIXES
- Fixed a bug with control groups, where groups 9 and 0 were not functioning correctly
- Fixed a bug where a Ballista failing to place would still deduct money
- Fixed a bug where Outposts would not function correctly in Custom Scenarios set to any difficulty other than Normal
- Fixed a bug where the game would experience performance issues when moat is being dug in Sands of Time, due to troops/workers getting stuck in the moat. Peasants stuck in moat will now die to prevent this.
- Fixed a bug where Apple Farmers would get stuck on Gatehouses
- Fixed a bug with Mosque/Church rollover text
- Improved drawbridge depth sorting visual bugs
- Fixed a visual bug causing the Ambusher to change colour whilst facing Southwest
- Fixed a visual bug, where the Slinger in the UI Menu did not match the appearance of the in-game unit.
Map Editor & Map Specific Fixes:
- Updated Ancient River map with a signpost for invasions
Please note that you will only see Multiplayer lobbies of other players on the exact same version of the game as you. People make sure you're on the latest version if you'd like to play Multiplayer.
