We're doing beta for the next update to make sure it's working well before going live!

It's just a little content update for Stick Fight, this game is still a side project that we come back to every now and then.

You can access the beta by going into the beta branch:

Right-click the game in your library and pic properties.

Go to the Betas tab

Enter StickFightBetaTrusted and play the update.

Consoles - What is going on?

We know a lot of you have been wondering why the console ports are taking so long, so have we. For the past year, the porting company that we hired to do the ports has communicated with us less and less, telling us we were going to have to wait until summer (2019) for them to finish the port. In August they informed us they will not finish the Stick Fight port at all. Thankfully we now have a new porting studio finishing up the port and we hope to release it sometime 2020! Thank you for your patience, we’re also very disappointed with how long this process has been taking. Hopefully, we'll see the game on consoles soon! Happy new year!

Hi! There was a recent Mac update making Stick Fight unplayable for mac users, we've now fixed this and the game should run like it used to. Please let us know if for some reason the game still doesn't work.

Hi! We know a lot of you have been wondering why the console ports are taking so long, so have we. They have now informed us they will not finish the Stick Fight port at all. Currently, we’re talking to other porting companies to finish up the port so that we can get Stick Fight on consoles as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, we’re also very disappointed with how long this process has been taking. Patch Notes Fixes:

Fixed desync preventing the current round from ending if a new player just hotjoined
Fixed key rebindings not working properly in boss mode
Fixed character physics at higher framerates
Fixed game freeze when trying to play only blacklisted maps
Fixed downwards movement input not being ignored while dead or typing
Fixed rare desync where destructibles would sometimes spawn destroyed
Fixed rare desync where snakes would sometimes fail to be assigned a target
Fixed issue where custom map objects would spawn in the wrong location
Fix for desynced snakes spawned from snake-barrels
Fix for playing the game in larger aspect ratios.

Changes:

Custom Maps can now be 50% larger than its original size.
When creating custom maps the editor window size is now the same size scale as the playable map will have.
Removed spik and spic from the chat filter
Allowed for uncapped framerate
Skips custom maps set to private during online play

Flip (keybind f) & Rotate (keybind r)
Mirror is now split into Mirror Position & Mirror Rotation
You can now both toggle grid with "x" or turn it on and off with ctrl+"x"
You can now make custom map sizes on custom maps
Drag and drop already placed objects
Rotate and flip already placed objects

Hi! We would like to apologize for any inconvinience caused by the achievements update. We originally thought any issues were due to version desync and waited for the majority of players to update but as it stands now the update itself looks to be to blame. We'll be working on this to bring achievements back without causing major issues.

EDIT: This update has been rollbacked, keeping this up for transparancy. Updates: Added achievements! Fixes: Fixed bug where Mac users couldn't upload maps from the editor. Increased weight of big crate in the editor.
Added automatic AFK kick after 2 minutes when playing online.

Balance:

God gun damage has been increased.
Laser AK damage has been reduced.
Laser AK knockback has been increased.
Snakes can now be killed with guns.
Snakes have been made slippier.
Snakes now add a bit of knockback when dealing damage.
Snake shotgun now fire 3 snakes instead of 5.
Big snakes gravity increased. They will no longer fly.
Lava spray knockback has been increased.
Lava spray bullet speed has been increased.
Ice gun knock back has been increased.
Ice gun damage has been increased.
Ice gun slow has been increased.
Spear has been made slightly shorter.
Spear now flies straight when thrown. It no longer spins.
Uzi knockback increased.
