We’ve just released version 1.0.43 of Star Ores Inc.
In this update, we mainly made several behind‑the‑scenes changes to address the crashes you reported. We also added a new decoration item: the Fireworks.
Since some of you experienced issues with mouse controls while a controller was still connected, we’ve added an option to disable controller input entirely. Important info for all Steam Deck players: this option is available there as well, but it has no effect while playing on the Steam Deck.
Additionally, we revised and corrected text in several languages to fix issues that slipped in with the last update. The position of D.I.S.C. 5 has been slightly adjusted so you can pick it up without having to move the astronaut.

Patch 1.0.41 has arrived, featuring updates inspired by your feedback!
We’ve introduced and refined several features based on our incredible community’s suggestions. Thank you so much to everyone who plays Star Ores Inc. and shares your opinions with us.
Alongside additional bug fixes, we’ve added highly requested features such as a shop storage interface to monitor product stock and a meeting point for Erfis when they finish their tasks.
We hope you enjoy the new version and have lots of fun playing!
Changes
Mouse sensitivity ranges have been refined for improved user experience.
An auto-save dialogue and information has been implemented.
The object information panel now displays the current TP of a building.
Users have the option to disable the control information displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.
The decoration UI provides both absolute and relative XP bonuses when accessing the building menu.
The shop storage UI can be accessed even outside the shop room, offering a comprehensive overview of products. It is also possible to mark products for automatic sale or block them from being sold to customers using the new UI.
Running is now enabled during building placement.
A new building, Erfi Gathering Point, is available and unlockable at the transport system blueprint terminal.
It can be placed once.
When Erfis become idle, they will relocate to the gathering point until assigned a new task.
Only ESU-01 and CLS-01 type Erfis are eligible to use the gathering point.
Bug Fixes
Resolved missing sound effects on specific buttons.
Addressed an issue where sound effects were muted upon loading the game.
Fixed collision issues allowing Erfis to pass through certain walls.
Corrected a malfunction in the transport system that caused all buildings to halt operations.

Star Ores Inc. version 1.0.40 is now available in the BETA channel and ready for you to explore.
Changes
Mouse sensitivity ranges have been revised to improve the user experience.
An auto‑save dialog and corresponding notifications have been implemented.
The object information panel now displays a building’s current TP.
Players can disable the control information shown in the lower-left corner of the screen.
The decoration UI now shows both absolute and relative XP bonuses when opening the building menu.
The shop storage UI can now be accessed outside the shop room and provides a complete overview of all products. Products can also be marked for automatic sale or excluded from being sold to customers.
Jumping and running are now possible during building placement.
A new building, the Erfi Gathering Point, is available and can be unlocked at the transport system blueprint terminal.
It can be placed once.
When Erfis become idle, they will automatically move to the gathering point until they receive a new task.
Only Erfis of types ESU‑01 and CLS‑01 can use the gathering point.
Bug Fixes
Missing sound effects on certain buttons have been fixed.
An issue where sound effects were muted after loading the game has been resolved.
Collision issues that allowed Erfis to pass through certain walls have been corrected.
A malfunction in the transport system that caused all buildings to stop operating has been fixed.

If you want to try the update before the official release, switch to the Beta channel. Please note that playing in the Beta may corrupt your save file. Create a backup or start a new game. Also avoid loading Beta save files in non‑Beta versions.

This year was a blast, and we are truly thankful for every one of you who played Star Ores Inc. and shared your feedback with us. Your ideas and support keep the game evolving. A huge shoutout also goes to all the streamers who took the time to play the game with their communities.
With Patch 1.0.24 we’re bringing you fresh content, improvements, and festive touches. Two new caves open up access to Amberon and Nochelith mineral fields, blueprint terminals have been expanded with clearer info and controller support, and the driller speed upgrade now shows its full bonus in seconds. We’ve also polished storage interactions, added new settings like FOV adjustment and autorun, and improved decoration balancing.
On top of that, Erfi and B.O.B.I are now showing off their Christmas hats during the holiday season, Twitch integration introduces viewer interactions, and a number of bugs have been fixed.
New Caves
Two new caves have been added that grant access to more Amberon and Nochelith mineral fields.
Blueprint Terminals
Added information about how many blueprints can be unlocked at a terminal.
Added hover info for blueprint terminals showing the name and the number of available blueprints.
Added button info for toggling blueprints with a controller.
Enabled shoulder buttons for toggling blueprints with a controller.
Erfi
Erfi now only dances when a delivery is finished, not after each product drop.
Fixed an issue where Erfis did not drop items into buildings even when standing directly in front of them.
Implemented a fix for products that fell behind walls or through the floor, reducing cases where Erfis moved around aimlessly.
Transportation System
Prevented cyclic dependencies in the network, which could result in a crash.
Driller Speed Upgrade / Building Upgrades
Driller speed upgrade is now displayed in seconds.
Driller speed is always visible when hovering over it.
Upgrades now show their total bonus.
Increased the bonus of the driller speed upgrade.
Position Reset
Position reset now returns the player to the starting room.
The door to the starting room will no longer be closed.
The starting room is blocked for building placement.
Storages
Items can now be ejected directly from storage by interacting with the respective product panels.
The storage UI has been updated.
Fixed an error that could occur when the storage UI was updated causing the panels to not disappear if the number of products drop to 0.
Settings
Added option to change the FOV between 60° and 90°.
Added autorun option.
Ring Menu
Right-click can now be used to go back or close the menu.
Driller
Added a hint when the driller runs out of minerals.
Added a hint when driller ejection is blocked.
Decoration
Updated balancing:
Increased deco points bonus of several decoration objects.
Increased max level of the decoration bonus skill to 20.
Increased building price increase of the mining tool hologram.
Lowered building price increase of the Star Ores hologram.
Other Bugfixes
Fixed an issue where unfinished cores could get stuck in the forge.
Fixed an issue where the Bubbleator and some doors prevented network connections.
Fixed a bug where the station was occasionally reset after watching the outro.
Twitch Integration
You can now connect to your Twitch account.
Streamers can enable the !customer Twitch command, allowing viewers to add their name for upcoming customers.
A customer with the viewer’s name will display the viewer’s chat messages as long as that customer is active.
Xmas Hats
Erfis and B.O.B.I now wear festive Christmas hats during the holiday season. 🎅

We’ve just released a small text fix for the Steam achievements.
The descriptions for the achievements related to crafting a Resonance Core and a Glow Core were swapped. This issue has now been resolved.

Greetings Space Miners! We’ve just deployed Patch 1.0.22, focusing on stability, achievement fixes, and some usability tweaks. Here’s what’s new:
Fixed an issue where the eject quest wouldn’t complete if the refiner had eject automation active before refining or was already connected.
Resolved a bug with the Bubbleator 9000 causing unexpected behavior
The ring menu cursor no longer jumps to the center of the screen when switching categories.
Drillers with deep drill update can now be moved.
The current decoration score now displays correctly after loading a savegame.
The 5-star deco rating achievement now unlocks properly.
An issue that cause some of the machines to stop working has been fixed.
Fixed an issue where the Karnit? I Can! and D.I.S.C 01 achievements wouldn’t unlock when using a savegame from the demo version.
The Smelt-O-Tron no longer gets stuck when moved during ingot production.
An error with the audio system has been fixed what could be one reason for crashes that some players have encountered
Added a default product icon to the ejector to clarify that players need to assign a product before use.

The release phase is now behind us and wow, what a launch it was! We’re incredibly grateful for all your feedback, your reviews, and of course, the time you've invested in Star Ores Inc. so far.
To date, Space Miners have spent over 70,000 hours in the game, cleared more than 280,000 biomasses, built over 1,200,000 meters of transport connections, and sold products to more than 3,200,000 customers - reaching a combined company value of over 2,145,000,000! We couldn’t be happier with the results of the initial release.
Many of you have asked: What’s next for Star Ores Inc.? Will there be updates? A roadmap?
Let’s be transparent: Star Ores Inc. is a complete game, a finished product. Not perfect, we know but it includes all the features we originally planned for launch. That said, the overwhelming support and positive feedback from you all has inspired us to go further. So yes, there will be updates!
First, we’re focusing on bug fixes. In fact, the first patch (version 1.0.22) will be released later today!
As for future updates, our current plan is to review your feedback on a monthly basis and decide what to tackle next. That means we won’t be publishing a fixed multi-month roadmap, but instead will share update previews once we’ve finalized what’s coming.
