Star Crafter news & patch notes

Beta branch updates are now on the default branch as a preparation for the full release.

Hey everyone, posting some info on the update that's available on the beta branch on Steam. This update is not final yet, so if you have any feedback especially about bugs/balancing let me know. New: - Star Creation Rocket - Random Planet Creation Rocket - 4 Space Station Platforms - Craftable Spaceship Warping Upgrade - Craftable Spaceship Inventory Upgrade - Craftable Stack Size Upgrade - Having the Fusion Reactor built now increases your world's crafting speed to x2. If you already play at x2, this won't affect you. - (unnoticeable) Added a world origin shifting system to allow for larger travel distances. Pray nothing is gonna break! Misc: - Antimatter recipe now gives back the Particle Container. - Made some hunger/electricity messages auto close after a while. - Fixed Power Fuel Generator says it generates 600 electricity when it's actually generating 900. - Made the starting message come up less often (from building the starting fabricator) To activate the beta, go to your Steam library, right click Star Crafter, select Properties, then Betas, then select the Beta. I recommend to make a copy of your saves folder before starting to play incase there might be issues (although most likely this update should be fine and stable), it's located at: Press Windows + R Type Saved Games Go to the Star Crafter folder Alternatively the files also might be in the game folder instead, so /NewKaragon/Saved/SaveGames Make sure that the folder has .csav/.sav files in it. that is the save folder. otherwise it's not it. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45457573/c4d17b5a7d02875e1c9dc803441fd6ae6f7d6a2c.png

- Fixed an issue with standing too close to a structure blueprint and then building it that can cause you to go under the ground. - Changed the stats colors to be a bit more visible (health / food) - Fixed a rare issue that you can die in space when a planet spawns (and also made it so you can't die in space from other causes like hunger).

Right now you can craft your own star system, but why not, many? This upcoming end game update will allow the creation of new star systems along with many more exciting things that'll be revealed closer to the update. You can now purchase and play Star Crafter in Early Access!

And, the mining laser now has a new and improved look!

The demo was also updated with this. The old look is available in the settings if you want it. If you have more questions regarding the Early Acesss, please view the questionnaire on the store page, but in short, the game is currently a complete and fully playable experience with a lot of content, but this is my best game ever and still with so much more potential, so I want to keep improving and expanding on it with the community. New content will eventually be reflected with a higher price once the game exits Early Access. I'm already working on the next major update, the NEW STARS update. And I can't wait to show it to you all very soon! (and then get to play it myself!) But of course that before any major update I'll try my best to quickly push out improvements/fixes based on your feedback (as I'v already been doing with the demo). Hi, here is the update that I have been working on recently. These updates are available in the demo right now! Screenshots below!

• Added underground ruins with a new unique item drop and randomized resources loot.
• Added a bricks paint gun (change the texture of the ground to bricks).
• Added buildable decorative pillars.
• Added Ray Receiver machine that generates Dyson Energy.
• Added Dyson Rings customization (full game only).
• Added a food drain setting and many other fixes and improvements.

I hope players will be interested in the game so I can keep adding more to it, I'm so excited about the endless possibilities for what could be added.
