See you in the arena!
On Monday, March 16, 2026, the major update titled Daidalos will be released. This update includes a complete UI redesign, new missions, additional passive buffs, boss enemies, a new power-up, and a new enemy type.
To make the start of the game a little easier, there are now three tutorial levels.
To make in-game progression clearer, the main mode is now called "Campaign."
Arenas no longer have an automatic five-minute time limit but now start at three minutes and increase linearly to five minutes.
Each arena now has its own boss with unique strengths and weaknesses. To avoid overly restrictive gameplay, it's up to the player to discover these strengths and weaknesses.
To better represent progress in the arena, especially in endless game modes, the scoring system has been reworked. This system, like the player's XP, now increases more proportionally to the time invested.
You can now customize your character even further with a wide selection of passive buffs. A high-level character will have a completely different gameplay experience than a newcomer.
The new power-up is a defensive cannon that targets all enemies at medium range and can even deflect boss missiles.
The new enemy type "Psi" doesn't try to push the player into the abyss but explodes on contact and is extremely fast.
Due to the addition of the new levels and bosses, I unfortunately had to adjust the progression system. You keep all your XP and unlocked power-ups, but you'll need to redistribute your upgrade points.
Since the tutorial levels are at the beginning, I had to reset the unlock progress. But anyone who has already completed this challenge shouldn't have any problem tackling the arenas again with their high-level character.
I would like to thank all players for their support and kind words. I hope you enjoy the patch and that it provides you with many more hours of fun. I hope you will like the coming update and that it brings you many more hours of enjoyment.
Best regards,
Markus
