Soulestination news & patch notes

Modifications: · Modify the golden crystal in Walheim. Now touching it without holding a golden key will not make it unbreakable. · Fixed a typo in the equip menu. · Fixed a really rare bug in the boss fight with Ja'rez the Interrogator (for the special date). · Fixed a bug in the boss battle of Flower of Eternity, where if you press the Z key really fast, the player might turn before the enemy's skill was triggered. · Minor adjustment Thanks to all friends who found bugs and made comments! It is a bit surprise that it's more than 1.5 years from the last update. The new game is in develop and hopefully you can hear something of it before the 4th anniversary of Soulestination.

Update features: · Allow the player to full screen (see the previous one for details) · Adjusted the battle process, it will now start slower, and accelerate as the battle progresses. This adjustment ensures that the player can see the text at the beginning clear and also shorten the battle time for longer turns. · The two gold crystals at the entrance of the Walheim have been modified that when you break one of them, you cannot break the other. Updated feature: · Remove the prohibition of fullscreen, now you can enter/exit fullscreen mode by hotkey Alt+Enter · Bug fix This update did not reach the amount of normal version iterations, but this feature needs some explanation so an announcement was made. Some mechanism in some areas of the game conflicts with the full screen with non-technical issues that are impossible to solve, so the full screen was disabled at the beginning; But when Enterbrain designs the engine, they made all games using the same engine share full-screen parameters and that is encapsulated in the engine. So unless I disassemble and rewrite the engine, it cannot be solved. This causes some players to be automatically full-screen at the beginning of the game, and hard to go back to window mode. Therefore, after considering, I choose to let go of the full screen. Before the start of the area with a mechanism that conflicts with full screen, if you turn on the full screen, the game will automatically go to window mode. Please keep the windowed play in this area by yourself. Otherwise, the game difficulty will increase because the mechanism there cannot be used. There also may be potential problems if you do so. The game "Soulestination" version 1.0 is released on Jan.6th, 2021!

Since it seems impossible to access Steam’s own live stream in China, the stream of the Chinese version of the game Soulestination will be conducted on the Bilibili platform. The address of the stream room is https://live.bilibili.com/6240831 The recording will be posted and sent under the same account after the live. The first live stream will be available at 20:30 Beijing time later.

In order to enable players to better understand the content of the game, we will conduct a live stream of the game during the term before and after the release of Soulestination. In this activity, we will demonstrate part of the game.

The full version of "Soulestination" will be released on January 6, 2021 as planned. It will contain all 4 chapters. The estimated playtime is about 10-20 hours under medium difficulty.
