We're making the decision to push back the release date of SHRIMP GAME: OVERKILL by one week to August 27th, 2026. This will ensure I have more time to work on localization and steam deck compatibility as well as some other technical issues. And more time to test the game in with the discord shrimpers!All of your progress in KRILL CONFIRMED and the demo will carry over to the full game. If you haven't seen it SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL is part of the Secret Sauce Steam event going on until July 23rd so be sure to check out the event and showcase below.
In addition to Secret Sauce we have a little surprise: we'll be talking about our post-release update roadmap.
Feedback & Bug Fixing
We want you to have the best possible experience so we'll be blocking out a dedicated amount of time to make sure the experience is polished! We of course will continue bug fixing and polishing as needed and we're working hard to make post-launch smooth!
Cosmetics & New SHRIMP Platforms
Shrimp your ride with new community-driven skins and customization options. In addition we'll be expanding the SHRIMP platform family with more playable characters! This means new abilities and passive stats.
Multiplayer Improvements & Hardcore Campaign Mode
Become the ultimate kriller amongst your friends and enemies in new multiplayer modes! Crushing the campaign without a challenge?Channel your inner meanie and clutch missions without dying and get rewarded for it!

Just a quick update that we have an official release date for SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL and that's August 20th, 2026!
As we've stated before all of your progress from KRILL CONFIRMED will carry over to the full game and you'll be able to continue your shrimpy adventure krillin it with friends or solo. In addition we're part of Steam Next Fest until June 22nd! If you haven't already please wishlist the full game as it helps us out immensely! We'll be revealing more news about the game as we get closer to release! Until next time.
Dear krillers,
Just a heads up that SHRIMP GAME is now SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL to help bring it into line with KRILL CONFIRMED (and to make it distinct from a certain children's game). In addition to the name update we're in Steam Bullet Fest. We've been making some changes to KRILL CONFIRMED (as well as the demo) to better ensure Steam Deck compatibility and incorporating your requested changes/bug fixes!
We've also hit 20,000 wishlists! That's a massive milestone and wouldn't be possible without all of you! We're hard at work on the game and can't wait to show you so much we have under-wraps. I'm currently working on the final dungeon!
Be sure to wishlist the game if you haven't and leave a review on the demo or KRILL CONFIRMED as that helps us out immensely!
SHRIMP GAME development is going well. I've finished the wind level, and now I'm working on the final dungeon! At this rate, we're still on for a summer release.

Hey everyone,
SHRIMP GAME: KRILL CONFIRMED is now live! Enjoy the campaign in single-player and Co-Op or krill your friends in multiplayer PVP! All progress from the game will carry over to the final game and you'll be able to to experience the first 3 dungeons of the game and their massive bosses. You'll also be able to unlock some neat bonuses for the full game.
KRILL CONFIRMED is our long term demo of the full game and we'll be updating it up to release and beyond. If you haven't already please wishlist the full game and leave a review for KRILL CONFIRMED as that helps us out immensely.

We're happy to announce SHRIMP GAME: KRILL CONFIRMED our long term FREE standalone introduction to SHRIMP GAME. You'll be able to play the first 3 dungeons along with their bosses both in single player and co-op. Unlock achievements, exclusive skins that will carry over to the full game, and any progress you make! We'll be posting regular updates about both games you can stay informed of major updates! There'll be an announcement on the release date for KRILL CONFIRMED really soon (like super soon!!) but in the meantime please wishlist the full game and KRILL CONFIRMED as that helps us immensely!
