- Fixed an issue in the ""Minions' Dan Dojo"" where removing a statue required a pickaxe after a measurement was taken.

We're kicking off 2026 with Major Update Vol. 3!

This update is packed with highly requested features, based on your feedback.

1️⃣ Box Select

The long-awaited copy & paste function is finally here! Using this function, it is now possible to copy & paste facilities across your factory. Builds just got way faster!

2️⃣ Themes

Use themes to customize your play! Themes include lobby decorations and minion skins, letting you change up the vibe for each play session. There are 4 themes available, including a never-seen-before design!

3️⃣ New Hero: Dullahan

A new Minion Master hero, Dullahan, arrives on the battlefield!

Their peculiar summon attacks will take your battle strategy to the next level!

The required materials include a terrifyingly shocking new component.

Combine materials on the canvas and see for yourself!

Please note: The recipe for Dullahan can be obtained from a Surprise Event.

4️⃣ Minion's Dan Dojo

Challenge yourself in the dojo to make the most effective use of limited resources, and deploy as many target heroes as possible.

Unlike normal play, there are no battles or time limits.

Optimize your factory to your heart’s content!

As you deliver more boxes, a gauge fills up. Once it reaches certain milestones…

Here are the main updates for this version.

・Fixed various unstable behaviors around pipes, including cases where Ink that should have been sufficient would incorrectly run out.

・Added a config option to assign the "Copy Equipment" function (equivalent to the "Q key" on keyboard) to controllers.

・Adjusted the research values for "Ink Engine efficiency +" in the Research Tree "Ink Fuel Tech." (The final total bonus when all research is acquired remains unchanged.)

・Fixed an issue where possessing certain "Ordeal of Wisdom" effects would prevent the Relic "Antique Scroll" from leveling up correctly.

・Fixed some text in certain languages for the Relic "Spyglass."

・Fixed several issues in the Shop.

We couldn’t quite figure out what they were up to...

but today, the mystery is finally solved!

The lobby has transformed into full Halloween mode!

And look! The Minions have secretly changed into pumpkin costumes! ✨

We have an important update to share with you today.

The previously mentioned price adjustment for ShapeHero Factory has finally been approved.

Starting October 19th PDT, the game will reflect its new planned price.

Since the start of Early Access, we were blessed with an opportunity to refine and improve the game based on your valuable feedback.

ShapeHero Factory has truly taken shape together with all of you.After the full release, we experienced a number of issues that caused inconvenience to players, but thanks to everyone’s reports and support, many of these problems have now been resolved.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has continued to share their voices since Early Access, as well as to all the new players who joined us after the 1.0 launch.

Thank you, sincerely, for being part of this journey.

We hope you will continue to enjoy and support ShapeHero Factory as it grows.

P.S. The dev team is currently working on fixing the remaining issues and improving quality of life features, including tools like bulk selection.

It’s nearly 10 days since our full release.

In that time, we’ve been truly moved every day by your incredible support. Thanks to you, we reached #1 worldwide on Steam’s “New & Trending” and topped the Switch 2 download rankings. We’re deeply grateful.

We also have an update regarding the promised price adjustment.

After repeated confirmations with Steam Support, we were told that “even when transitioning from Early Access, no price change can be made within 30 days of launch.” We’re still negotiating, but progress has been difficult, and it’s possible we may have to maintain the current price for up to another 20 days. However, as soon as the application is approved, the change will be reflected immediately.

We feel truly sorry toward those of you who purchased early around launch, but we wanted to share this conclusion honestly.

This game has been built together with the community, from feedback on Discord during Early Access to wishlists from those eagerly awaiting release. That ongoing support is exactly what made this success possible.

Because of that, we want every decision about pricing and updates to be communicated in a way that feels fair to all of you. This announcement too was made in that spirit of honesty.
