• Fixed issue with falling hands sometimes getting "stuck" on players.
• Fixed Glass Cardio applying incorrect values.
• Fixed sometimes not being able to interact when standing too close to an interactable object.

• Fixed an issue with Malvo's Toothpick special ability not counting as a special ability.

• Added a new weapon to be found by exploring the world.

• Added multiple new Seeds.

• Galesworn Sword and Aspect of the Serpent are now both unlocked on interacting with their event ju as how Callings work.

• Fixed an issue causing summons to sometimes not realizing which team they belong to.

• Batoush now doesn't get stuck in a corner when he bounces against the wall.

• Malvo's Toothpick special has been reworked to now deal a small amount of Sanguine damage to all afflicted targets but also give you a small Sanguine boost per target hit to your base weapon damage.

• The upgrade that made The Aureate Curved Sword stand still in place now instead significantly lowers how fast you move(while spinning just as fast) while also making you take less fatigue damage.

• Lowered the end lag of some heavy weapon attacks to allow players to more quickly react to dangers around them after attacking.

• Fixed a lot of collision issues on levels that allowed players to get out of bounds.

• Many other performance fixes and balance changes.

• Fixed an issue with some bosses sometimes had projectiles pass through them.
• The Relic UI now properly displays the actual cooldown of the relic if you have anything that affect it such as Mirras Many Arms.
• Reworded the cooldown part of Mirras Many Arms.
• Fixed Dune Shroud relic effect incorrectly not being treated as a buff.

• The game(host only in multiplayer) will now save your progress at the beginning of every map. So if you exit the game you will be able to continue the previous run from the hub. This feature is still a work in progress.
• Awareness progress has been wiped due to a major change that makes Awareness be based on domain instead of a single global progression.
• Introduced an eighth Awareness level.
• The Firstborn has gotten reworked animations and a new look.
• Introduced a new event.
• Added 2 new relics.
• Added keybindings for changing target for KBM players.
• Fixed a bug causing water effects to linger forever.
• Fixed an issue causing players that fell of the world to sometimes get stuck.
• Reworked the lowest Global Illumination setting to completely disable Unreal's Lumen technology which should help low spec hardware to run the game.
• More GPU memory optimizations.
• A ton of small balance and stability fixes.

• Fixed an issue with the rebirth event shrine causing players to incorrectly lose seeds/attributes.
• Fixed an issue causing players that disconnected to not be able to do any abilities on reconnecting.
• Fixed an issue with Sunflower Petal not becoming stronger when leveled up.

• Rolled back changes made to blocking which unfortunately sometimes caused energy regeneration to become stuck.
• Fixed issue with attribute gambling event shrine sometimes allowing for infinite rolls.

• Callings will now be automatically unlocked whenever you interact with an event that rewards Callings. So you no longer need to actually choose the Calling to unlock it.
• Using the Cower relic now properly counts as activating a relic.
• Equipping the Galesworn Greatsword once will now permanently unlock it as a starting weapon.
• Fixed issue with not being able to roll while holding block.
• Fixed an issue with summons that spawn and are instantly killed getting stuck in place.
• Fixed an issue with summons falling through part of the floor in the Vali area.
• Many other small balance changes.

• Fixed issue with relic texts being forced to English even when another language was selected.

• Singleplayer enemy health has been lowered across the board by 10% on lower Awareness
• Normal sprinting now retains some energy regen while in combat
• Fixed an issue causing some Mysterious Seeds to show on multiple levels incorrectly
• Fixed issues with summons sometimes getting stuck in mid air
• Fixed issues with Typhlotic Pair summon sometimes not knowing what to do

We have had a great couple of days since launch – we are working hard, fixing bugs and implementing many of the features and ideas from the community. Your response and involvement is fantastic, and your feedback is already making the game a lot better! We are constantly pushing many small patches and hotfixes, and we have a few cool updates coming up very soon, with stuff that you’ve been asking for.

Today we happily announce a minor addition to the game – a Supporter Pack DLC. This is a very slight visual customization for the playable characters, PURELY FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO SHOW US SOME EXTRA SUPPORT. This pack does not include any extra game content and should only be seen as a way to give us some extra aid in the development of the game.

Serpent’s Gaze has finally launched and is available on Steam!!

Delve into the Sedonian desert with up to 3 friends, fight tough enemies and relentless bosses while uncovering the secrets of the mysterious desert.

Steam Next Fest is in full swing, and we've taken this opportunity to update the demo. The amount of content in the demo has been just about doubled, so that it better represents the full game.

Apart from increasing the amount of content in the demo we've taken a lot of feedback to heart and done a lot of updates, big and small, to the combat system.

So grab a friend or two and try out the new demo!

Hello Everybody, and welcome! We’re excited to finally show the game, and release a demo while we’re at it. The demo is a small slice of the full game, but we think it gives a good view of what you can expect. 1-4 player multiplayer is, of course, included in the demo.

If you like what you see, the game releases in Early Access early 2026.
